"Heh, you had reason, i'm just tired." Dein reminded. "I haven't slept for ages..."

 

"Maybe we ougtta find someplace to sleep. We can't just keep going... But we're miles from anywhere..."

 

"There are trees?" Dein suggested looking wishfully at a tree.

 

"Sleeping in trees?" Jamei asked raising an eyebrow "We're not monkeys. I'll sleep on the ground rather than fall out of a tree in my sleep... I'm gonna set up a fire or somthing, I'm freezing..."

 

"Whatever..." Dein agreed grabbing a branch of a nearby tree and pulling himself up. "It has nothing to do with what you are but how peaceful and silent it is near trees... The wind rushes through the branches and makes it seem almost as if it's talking to you, and... you're probably bored of it already..."

ooc: actually to tell the truth i 'love' trees, i can sit in them for hours happily:D

 

"If you fall out and break somthing I'm just gonna laugh, I'm not gonna help you." She smirked as she gathered wood. After about five mintutes there was a decent fire going. Jamei was huddled up next to it with one arm wraped around her knees and poking the buring wood with a long stick with the other arm.
"I'm going to reak of wood smoke tomorrow..." She sighed quietly, but she was glad of the warmth and light the fire provided.

 

"It's better than nohting..." Dein reminded. "I still don't get it though... I have stories in my head but i can't put them on paper..."

 

"Writers block, just wait. You're prob'ley distracted by what's going on right now." she explained before laughing "Basicly your minds constipated."

 

"That's... disturbing..." Dein remarked before cracking up laughing and almost falling out off the tree. "I didn't know my mind could be constipated..."

 

Jamei laughed and shifted so she was closer to the fire.

 

"Hey have you ever wondered what it would be like to have wings?" Dein asked looking at the sky. "I reckon it'd be nice to be able to just 'fly away' head straight over the mountains and never come back..."

 

Jamei gazed up at what little of the starry night sky could be seen through the green leaves of the overhanging trees "I guess it'd be cool, just to be able to fly away from everything. Leaving all your problems behind." she looked back into the crackling and began to sing, almost silently under her breath. "One day I'll fly away, leave all this to yesterday. Why live life from dream to dream? And dread the day, when dreaming ends...."

"Heh, nice song..." Dein commented thinking... I guess this is as good as it's going to get fomr here on...

"Oh, thanks. You weren't ment to hear me..." She giggled nervously.

"I hear alot of things i'm not supposed to..." Dein explained silently...

 

"You ok up there? It's getting really cold." She asked looking up at him sitting in the tree.

 

"I'll come down soon!" Dein reassured looking up to the sky and smiling as the wind brushed against his face as if it was trying to say something. "It's nice up here..."

 

"Sure..." Jamei muttered, she hadn't got a coat with her and only had the t-shirt and jeans she'd worn to school that day on. Not good in the middle of the night in a forest...

 

Dein jumped down and noticed that she was cold. "Here, have my jumper!" Dein shouted over throwing her his jumper and walking off. "I'm going for a walk for a bit be back soon!"

 

"Umm, thanks." She said wrapping it around her shoulders. "Don't get lost."
