Dein took a few more steps backwards, just incase.

Jamei had run to a stop a good few hundred yards away and had tear-stains streaked down her pale cheeks. She was standing and staring at a rock a few feet away for no reason other than it was a distraction.

 

Stephen sat down out of exhaustion.

 

"Ummm, maybe you should try to stay calm a lot more. I know that's harder to do than it sounds, but you might not have a choice..."

Jamei slowly dropped to the ground on her knees...

 

Stephen's face was in agony. "Stop showing me that!!" he yelled.

 

Dein decided maybe it was better to let Stephen fight this on his own...

 

"I said sotp!!" Tears were coming down Stephen's face as in his mid, he was watching himself killing his siblings.

 

Dein looked around, he didn't know what to do and was panicking a little. He couldn't help Stephen, but he couldn't leave him... And he had no idea where Jamei could be by now...

 

"Leave me. Go get Jamei. Tell her.. I am sorry."

 

"Don't bother." Jamei said leaning on the wall, she then started walking over "I should be appoligizing. I panicked, sorry."

 

Stephen stares at her with sad, mourning eyes. His breathing starts to get short. "Please stop Jaspar.Please stop showing me that."

"Then what about this?" Jaspar sent a mental picture of Stephen killing Dein and Jamei.

 

Jamei bites her lower lip and looks to Dein for help, he just returns the look of utter unknowing and worry. She slowly walked over to him, swallowing her fear and knelt next to him. Unsure of what to do next...

 

Stephen turned his head and smiled weakly at her.

 

Jamei looked away " W..why don't you just try and replace the thoughts and images with somthing else, somthing that makes you happy or feel good..."

 

"Nothing makes me happy anymore."

 

Jamei sighed "You're not being very helpfull..." She thought for a moment "What about the moment you where most happy, a memory or somthing... There's got to be somthing that makes you happy. Or you would of killed yourself years ago..."

 

"The only reason I get up in the morning is so that my parents won't be alone."

 

She looked up at him. "OK then, a memory. From when you where little? Like a.... I dunno... I know nothing about childhood..."
"A Christmas? Or birthday?" Dein suggested "I heard they're ment to be happy."

 

"He has already told you. He has no happy memories."

 

Jamei moved backwards, as though she was going to run again, but she stood her ground. Only moving slightly. "B...because you wiped them I bet." she managed to get out.
