One Piece Question

If Usopp is supposed to be from Africa if he were in the real world, why is he white?

 

Same reason as to why all anime characters dont resemble asians.

Not sure why you' d think he' s from Africa (haven' t caught up with the series in a looooooong while but pls don' t spoil me), however Maghreb is in Africa. If he' s from there it wouldn' t necessarily warrant a dark color. That, or he' s non red-eyed albinos.

Oda gave each of the crew members a real world nationality. Luffy's Brazilian(holla). Zoro's Japanese. Nami's French. Usopp's African which is vague as ****. Sanji's Swedish. Robin's Russian. Franky's American. And I think Brook didn't get one because he wasn't a crew member yet. Chopper didn't get one either. I wonder why. >>

Oh derp, I switched the two. You're right. Sanji is French and Nami is Swedish. And Chopper is Canadian and Brook is Austrian.

Yeah I don't like One Piece lmao. It's always been one of those things I just don't see as interesting. I dislike the art style, the story is okay, but the characters annoy me and it's too damn long to keep my interest.
