One Pack, One Destiny

he shrugged and tore out a small piece of meat, chewing thoughtfully.

Kipcha was at the stream when she heard the howl. Her fur stood on end and she raced back to the den. "A Kerl, he is hunting another varg," she panted. "He nears here," she said. Normally wolves didn't make eye contact for fear of angering each other but this time, Khaz and Kipcha locked eyes. The fear in the den was almost tangible.

 

Damon continued running. He made it out of the field and could smell the wolves nearby. Especially the one he was looking for.

Jordyn's ears lowered in frightfulness. She could smell the scent of the upcoming wolf. Her eyes widened and she hid her face in her hands. She knew who it was.
"He's coming," she said.

"Lets fight him then."

Jordyn lifted her paw off her right eye looking at them both, feeling her heart thumping.

Thump..thump......

Thump..thump......
She stood up and ran out of the den. She didn't want her new friends hurt, so she would lead the new wolf away from the den. She knew the howl from anywhere and it was him

Damon saw the den and he let out a griping snarl as he saw Jordyn running off from the den. He snarled louder and bared his teeth at the small tribe.

 

"Hey, nooo," he said in a scolding tone and caught the scruff of her neck. He dragged her back inside the den. "The draggas will take care of this one no sweat," he said confidently.

Huttser stepped up the the lone wolf. "Greetings, is ther a problem?"

 

Jordyn whined and lowered her ears.
"He's after me.. Just let me go, I'll run him off and keep you safe," she said saddened. She pushed herself outside the den, but not to run away, to see where Damon was. She was him standing at a barrel of tree's. She pushed herself out of the den, not letting anyone pull her back in. She ran straight for Damon.

Damon growled and ran straight forward as he saw Jordyn running towards him. Finally, his prey was coming to him. This was the easiest hunt he'd ever expected. Once close enough he tackled Jordyn and bit her shoulder, tearing up her flawless white fur, making scratches and blood soaked bashes.

 

Huttser got the death grip on the lone Kerl. "How dare you come into MY territory, and threaten MY pack. Without even giving Tratto's blessing!!" He ripped the fur that ran along Damon's neck, causing severe bleeding. He bared his teeth and crouched into an attack position. All the males of the pack followed, even Khaz.

 

Damon growled and shrugged. He bit Jordyn once more and he growled at the male wolves. He bared his teeth, almost wincing at the pain of his neck. She turned around and started heading down the path he came. Apparently this hunt wasn't as easy as he'd planned.

Jordyn whined softly as she tried to sit up. She could feel every scratch on her fur burn, but it didn't matter to her. There was one on the back of her neck that hurt worse than the others though, so she tried not to bend her neck as much. She stood up, surprisingly and started walking the way all the others were. She wouldn't let anyone else hurt. She'd rather take the fall.

 

Khaz and Kipcha immedeatly pressed on either side of her, supporting her. "Fenris damn it, why didja have to go and do that?"

Kipcha growled a little. "Don't curse Khaz," she said gently.

 

Jordyn whimpered softly.
"I can't let anyone get hurt," she said softly. she blinked softly, with her ears falling back in another saddened stance. She felt great ful they both helped her to stand up, but she wanted to lie down and rest. She felt a part of her soul was ripped from her. She took in small breathes to keep herself from collapsing.

Damon kept running until he made it out of their territory. He chuckled and stood at the border where the river was. He cleaned up his wound on his neck and found a safe place to nest at for the night. He let out a soft growl as he didn't plan his hunt to turn against him.

 

Once they were in the den, they eased her down slowly. "Well, Kipcha, tell mother to watch out for her. I'm going for that Damon," he growled. With that he flicked his tail and ran out the den entrance. Kipcha followed him. They raced towards the pack territory boundary.

 

(sorry if this is slight god-modding, I jsut want to make his comign make sense)



As they got closer to the boundary, an another wolf joined them with a slight jumpiness. "I saw a little too late to help, sorry, but I caught his scent...kept my nose locked and tracked him till he stopped." He made a slight change in his run. "Follow me, he went to the river first, and found someplace near." He started leading the other two close till where it was.

 

Jordyn stood up as a reflex to yell at Khaz, but they were already gone. She laid back down, feeling the soreness and she let out another small whimper. She put her head down and her ears back. She felt a teardrop run down the side of her face. She whined a little.

Damon took a deep breath before setting out farther away from the territory boundary so he could find him something for dunner, like a rabbit or something.

 

Khaz threw back his head and howled.

Come and find me you coward!!Fight me one on one!!As is the custom of our noble kind!!But you put that name to shame!!!FIGHT ME!!!!

Damon heard the howl, and he knew something was going to go down. He ran for the boundary and waited for Khaz. He wasn't going to give up his hunt, and he would kill any other wolf that got in his way.

Jordyn wouldn't stand not knowing what was going on , she stood up and headed for the den entrance, ready to leave and to help them out.

 

"No," said Palla sternly. "just because my son is stupid doesn't mean you need to get hurt too."

 

The scent came closer, it was clear the target heard the other's howl. When the target came into view, Raka halted to a stop a little shorter than the others. He wasn't the best fighter, so he'll leave it up to the top gun. Unless he saw a way to help later.

 

"Look at me... I'm good as dead right now... I don' want anyone hurt," she said.

 

Palla shook her head kindly. "No you aren't. We will fix your fur up fine, and you won't even be able to see a scar."

 

Jordyn whimpered.
"Okay, I won't fight. I'll just go bring him back. Please, i don't want anyone hurt," she said softly.
