Traditional Art One of my Favorite Sketches.

This is a sketch of my cell-phone. When I scanned it, it was the wrong way, so excuse the backwards logos.



CnC please. It was a pretty quick sketch but on of my first trying to do three deminsional and shadows.

 

Not bad, but it's kinda messy. I suggest that you sketch the basic design of the phone, THEN you should do the final pictuere.

 

Yeah pretty much what sho said. I can understand if it was a quick sketch but you might want to go back and clean it up a little. Then I can see a lot of potential.

 

Ar first I thought it was a car but then I noticed the buttons. I suggest that you draw teh lines more straight and nicely. I can think that it looks like something out of Digimon but I guess that's my imagination! ^^

 

Yeah. As I said, it was a REALLY fast sketch 'cause I was ultimately bored... I can't really edit it anymore, 'cause I lost the original. Anyways, thanks;

You say you were working on shading and realism, but yet I see no hint at shading, just... lines? And it looks very chicken scratchy.

Here is a bit of advice:

You really need to shade from the where the source of darknes or light it. I'ts hard to explain over the internet, but I'll try. You see on the middle rectangle you have the on the front of the phone? Well, I'm pretty sure if you would see the phone, and then the drawing, there wouldn't be those circulating lines like that on the real phone. And shading wouldn't be that same colour, because shadows vary from dark to light, not stay one colour.
