Jordie looked at Doxyc
"Really?!? First time...Wow..." She thought out loud

"You havint even heard the stories about this place????" She asked

If he hasint....this is totally weird

OOC: Yeah he is right

 

"...no i havent heard of the stories here and i dont know what the name of this city is..." great she probobly thinks im insane now...given the look on her face...

 

She jumped back

"WHAT?!?!"She shouted

"Where have you been all these years? Wait here" She ran back to her house grabbed a book and ran back
As she was running back she saw the guy he was looking for...

"I better tell him..."She whispered to herself and she ran back to doxyc

"Looks like i have alot of explaining to do" she said

 

"...hmm well no offence but i dont have the time for this i have to find this man..." i say and start walking down the path.

 

"Hey!!" She crossed her arms

"No fair" She said to herself

"Oh well at least im not a weirdo like him...he hasint even heard of the stories...how weird" She looked at him walking away

 

so he's not here eather...man...where could he be...

 

"Well if he just asked...i could tell him but NOOO he has to do it the hard way doesnt he? Pssshhhh...Men" She thought out loud

She sat in her spot under the tree in the grass

She read threw her book.... and came up to the strange markings

"I wonder what these mean.." She asked herself

 

i come back to her with droopy eyes. "hey do you know of a place i can stay? ...and eat? ive been traveling for weeks with out food or sleep..."

 

Having stopped in the village to rest, Shai solemly stood staring at the sky, his mind focused on his his last battle...one of great pain.

"Why? Why did he challenge me? He shouldn't have. I didn't want to, but he gave me no choice..."

His heart sank.

"Why did I have to be the Rain Man to him? Now, his life stains my blade and I can't seem to cleanse it...or these hands. Big brother..."

A old man passed by and asked, "Um, excuse me sir, but do you know if it's gonna rain today?"

"No. I don't think it will rain today..."
"Can I ask why you wear that long coat and hat on a sunny day like this?"
"Never know...when the rain might come. But to me, everyday is a rainy day."

Walking away, the old man cackled and said, "Don't say such things, young man. Kids your age should be bright and wide eyed, full of spirit."

"Thank you sir, but I lost my spirit a long time ago...when I first saw the rain."

As he idled, he soon became bored with his solem silence, so he began wandering around, politely asking the villagers for any information they knew of the Crystal Heart or things relating to it. Some were helpful, while others were not so kind. Many people had nothing to contribute that he hadn't already learned but there were a few things he could look into. As the process continued, he happened upon the scene of a young man rushing off from a young lady holding a book.

"Now that's a familiar scene..." he mused, reflecting back on the day he left his home. The girl then was his sister, begging him not to leave on what she called "a fool's journey." He began to make his way over to the girl he glanced. As he was walking there the boy came back. He stopped. Seeing this scene unfold made him further reflect on his last day at home.

 

i look over to see a man walking over to me and Jordie. i glance at him and then back at Jordie then at him again. "uuuuh...hello...and you are...?"

 

Jordie Giggled

"Well doxyc there is a....Oh, hello there!" She looked at the person


"Looks like we are getting alot of visitors finally" She got up from bending down and looked away

She remembered her Grandmother telling her the story of the Crystal Heart

Then she looked at them both

"Umm...Sorry about that" She smiled

 

"any who... you were saying?" i said taking my eyes off of him.

 

She still looked at the boy

She seemed familiar

Like she had known him before....

She shook her head

"There is a hotel around here somewhere" She pointed at it...It was small but it looked cozy

It had written on it 'Maria Inn' It looked like it had been used alot before...but now..

 

"hmm?" i said continueing the conversation. then folding my arms. i looked at the boy glancing at him looking up and down. ...whats this feeling im sencing from him?...

 

Jordie looked

She sighed

Men... She thought
He anit even listening to me...Pssshhh.... she shook her head in disgust
First he walks away...now he doesnt even listen

She put her hands on her hips and looked at them both

 

When he saw that he'd been greeted by the two, he snapped out of his trip down memory lane.

"I apologize for intruding on you both. My name is Shai. I was wondering if either of you knew anything about the Crystal Heart? You see, I've been traveling for a long time, searching for it, though..."

 

"...hmmm..." is that what he's after...? i thought as i went started to does off. that would explain why he'd be here...

 

Jordie jumped back

"At least SOMEBODY knows about it.." She glanced at doxyc

"I...dont know where it is...i have been searching for it too...but..." She looked away
"I havint been anywhere...yet...." She sighed

Then she brightened up
"But i do have a map to it...except...its sorta...ripped.." She got it out of her book
