Everything's shutting, swimming pools of water on every road, **** blowing over, fences, walls, grandmothers and vans. Free day off work. Oh Scotland, never change.
Yup, it's terrible. Everything's closed, some people at my work can't get home because the major bridges in the area have shut...but we still get made to stay and work! Miserable bastards. Very high gale force winds and torrential rain. Worse than we usually get.
Update, had to go tie the back fence up since it blew down, was out literally 3 minutes and my ears are in agony from the icy winds, currently wearing a trapper hat indoors.
It's the same down here in England, it's calm and sunny right now though so I guess it's not as bad but earlier it was a little insane with the rain and wind. I nearly went for a pleasant walk today... HAHAHAHAHA!
Hehe yeah right, it practically rains here for 5 months, gets a mix of windy, cloudy, and some rain for the other 5, then burning hot sun for the last 2.
Ah. Well, that's understandable I guess. I work in a shitty little office. Part of the roof in the kitchen caved in, water was pouring down (I think the building is made of cardboard and held together with squeezy cheese) and still we soldiered on. My work literally gives no fucks about health & safety or employee well-being lol. Oh Scotland indeed.
