Didn't enjoy it as much as the first one tbh, still a decent watch though.

First off, be considerate of other's opinions about sensitive topics.

Second, it wasn't a suicide attempt. It was a would be super hero, inspired by other super hero, trying to fly. He fails, and falls to the ground. It's an opening to the idea of the film, that being a real life super hero isn't easy to do ad you're going to fail a lot of the time. He doesn't die, either, he climbs the same building he jumped off to try again. Being a hero is about taking the failure and trying harder next time.

I actually really don't have to, but thanks.

It's called dark humor. If they're sensitive about it, maybe they shouldn't have come to a joke thread where Cameron literally tries to show a double standard.

Now now Zack, people are precious little flowers that wilt when you cast a shadow on them for more than a minute.

You might as well just stay as 'Zack' on here forever because Jay is never going to happen.

First off, there's little to no indication of what Cam's actually going for here. I myself got mixed signals and simply chose to respond in a way I saw fit, without making too many assumptions. Second, once you're lookin' at it, it's a little too late to choose not to. I think it's a fair response to open dialogue about it, and if it kills the joke for you, well, you can always move on to another thread, can't you? And third, you don't have to be considerate, but not doing so makes you a lout. Save the shit-slinging for the people in the arena with you, don't chuck it into the stands. And on that note...

    SILENCE, LOUT

There's complete indication of where he's going with this- It's Cam.

Second, it's never too late for humor. It's really effing weird that every one is posting life inspiring stuff and talking about how suicide isn't worth it when, guess what, no one said anything about wanting to stick their head in the oven. It comes off as "Well, I thought about killing myself... I do a lot.. Here's EVERYTHING I use to prevent that" We're unloading clips at targets nobody put up. It's frakin' weird. This thread neeeeeds humor.

Third, someone enters the arena when they command me to be sensitive.[DOUBLEPOST=1378246265][/DOUBLEPOST]

"Learn every one's pet peeves and sensitivities so you don't accidentally make someone upset and cry" Your logical interpretation of the KHV rules where it says don't offend people.

Cam's allowed to be serious. Usually there's an indication that he's screwing around; I figured this was an exception to his usual behavior.

All it really needs is for people to leave each other the fresh hell alone. We all just responded the way we felt was appropriate. Not every post is understood for its intention. It ain't a tragedy that one of Cam's jokes went unnoticed, believe me, he'll make plenty more in his lifetime. Better inspiring messages than cruel ones.

    Not what I meant.

    I was referring to:
And learning people's 'pet peeves and sensitivities' and acting appropriately around them is called being a well socialised human. They call it anti-social for a reason.

And how about letting Ghetto talk for himself? He's not here to say what he's thinking, and obviously people are divided on his intentions.

Then it's a double fault as I antagonized the thread, but the thread didn't let me make my comment and leave unprovoked into continuing. Yes?

Third point, I don't feel like quoting, but elaborate what you actually meant then

Calm down everyone, I just felt the urge to share one of my average "deep thoughts" with you to see how you'd all respond. I think of this type of stuff all the time. I fancy my-self a philosopher of sorts.

But which one of us is the anti-social? Bold, random claim for a forum where you can be an anonymous as you wish. In fact, it's the point of representing yourself as an "avatar" So that didn't work out for ya.

As for respect, that doesn't mean obey. I can respect your wishes it doesn't mean I necessarily have to do anything with them.
