Omens of the Past

Catherine stood up, watching as Benka left. She mumbled something under her breath before turning her attention to Eva. She took a deep breath, looking around the area they were in. I guess we're stuck here.

OOC: Eh...*headache* ><

 

As Nuthead saw what happened he knew that he needed to stop that guy...but why. After the stranger left Nuthead leaves the apartment. He imediatly Duplicates to where there are three of him"

"You Two! Follow that guy...but make sure he does not spot you. I'll be doing the same thin but on a different path" ordered Nuthead to his Clones

"You got it Boss!" Yelled the Clones.

"The Three leave and Split up. Each one following Benka in their own way"

 

Morgan laid limply in Benka's arms, barely breathing. She was still unconcious, so therefore, she couldn't do much.

OOC: B| It sucks to be unconcious.

 

OOC: Recap?

 

OOC: Morgan got knocked out by Benka and is captive. Scott went to go save her and is confronting her. So yeah, that's pretty much it.

 

Skye had lost track of time. He hurried back to the park in search of his Uncle Zeke. Truth be told, his uncle probably hadn't missed him at all. It seemed he had been marking the days of his calendar in excitement for Skye to go off to college.
Skye arrived at the park and gently jostled through several people in order to reach the bench. His uncle was nowhere in sight. Before he could have a heart attack, Skye got a call on his cell phone.
"Hello?" he said.
"Skye, it's your Uncle Zeke. I'm back home, got bored. Feel free to come as late as you like."
And with that, his uncle hung up.
"Crazy old man..." Skye muttered.

 

A figure silently stood in the park, watching Skye from the shadows. He kept a close eye on him, studying him carefully. Yes... he seems to be a good canidate... We will give it some time though....

OOC: >< Mrph... All I got for now. It'll get better.

 

Skye walked into a diner, sat down, and ordered some coffee. He hadn't had one all day and could really use the energy. It arrived shortly and he took small sips of it while watching a musician perform on the small stage. The guitar played a catchy rythm and Skye could relax. After a while, he found himself drifting to sleep as if put into a trance by the warm coffee and guitar. Soon, everything around him had become a blur and his eyelids weighed tons as they suddenly collapsed and he had fallen asleep.
OoC: Eh..I might as well make him fall asleep since he's not doing anything...even though it's daytime... O_o

 

OOC: Hey, works for me! XD Hopefully this doesn't end up to be powerplaying... >>

BIC:

Something entered into Skye's sleeping mind, beginning a new dream. A forest appeared around Ventez. Mist was hanging low around the trees, the sky seemed dark with stars, and the moon was full, sending eerie shadows all around Skye. Slowly, someone, or something was emerging out of the trees towards him.

 

OoC: Uh...you called my character Ventez. Lol.

Skye's vision at first was a blur, but soon almost everything became clear, except for the figure that walked towards him. Arising from the shadows. Not knowing he was dreaming, he considered the idea of have been kidnapped in his sleep. But how had he gotten here? And who was it that seemed to stalk closer to him with every second?
"Who are you?" Skye asked, it being the only obvious question that he was bound to eventually ask.
His feet shook as he stepped backwards, trying his best to escape.

 

OOC: Whoops! :sweat: I'm kind of distracted right now, sorry.

BIC:

The figure approached him, holding up a hand. "I only come in peace, my friend." The figure stepped into the moon light, showing his idenity. It was a middle aged man with shaggy, black hair. He looked to be a normal human being... "You are only dreaming. I only have a short amount of time before this will end..."

 

Skye glared at the hand, then back to the man suspiciously. Although he appeared to be normal, any man who somehow appeared in his dream mysteriously didn't seem right to him.
"Well then, I suppose that only means we won't have enough time to introduce ourselves." he replied casually. "So, goodbye."
With that, Skye began walking away, not daring to look back.

 

The man calmly looked down, smiling a bit. "Have you ever... had dreams of being a hero? Protecting the innocent?" It was a simple question, yet it had a lot of mystery and power behind it.

 

Skye stopped for a moment, but still had his back turned to the man.
"I have given it...some...thought, I suppose. Ever since my parents dissa...wait!-"
He spun around, his eyes squinting at the man.
"Who are you exactly to ask me this?"

 

The man slowly smiled, looking up at Skye. "Who am I to ask you...? Just a simple person. A giver of sorts." He held a hand out, palm facing Skye. A small orb came out of the beings hand, and floated towards Skye, hovering in front of him. "Inside in that orb is your fate, your future... Mind you though, you will be faced with many challenges and trails. In the end though, it'll all be worth it. That orb holds your dreams and your desires. Take it, and it will be granted to you."

 

Desire. It was the first of many emotions that rushed through Skye's mind as the man's words sunk deep into him. Here it was, an orb possibly only a little larger than his hand, simply floating there with such an undeniable attraction. Perhaps this was a good man. A magical one. A wizard. Or perhaps even an angel sent down to help him.
No he thought, shaking the idea off. There was nothing special enough about him to make him worthy of such a gift, except for the disappearance of his parents. Maybe that was it. Maybe this orb somehow was the key to finding his long lost parents...and much more.
With slight hesitation, Skye's shaking fingers moved towards the orb, and finally grabbed it.

 

The man smiled, seeing Skye had made his decision. "Now you will wake up... Do not fear the sudden changes... You may feel some discomfort when you open your eyes, but it's only temporary. Good luck... and fairwell..." The man suddenly vanished into the fog, leaving Skye alone in the forest. The whole scenary around him begain to swirl, slowly fading out to black.

 

Eva sighed, then clenched her hand, and pulled it toward her. The window broke, the pieces flying to her eye level; she smiled.

 

Eva clenched her hand, then slowly made the glass shards pull out of his back. "True...."
