Old vs. New: Spam Zone

Spam zone is just meh to me. Not really ever been entertaining for me, but I like it for being able to just talk to other members when I can. Apart from that it's just messy.

I hated the spam zone back in the day. It was like watching cheerleaders at school acting bitchy and trying to one up each other with profanity and insults. Cyber bullying at its best. Thank god that died down when I left for a bit, place feels more calm now.

And you have a lovely singing voice at that, darling! : D

 

Maybe that's just a cue for some of us to finally leave the site.

 

I do wonder why people stay if they feel the place isn't as good anymore. Maybe the myth of never leaving KHV for good is true.

 

Honestly, it's just whining, I would say.

Seriously though, all I ever hear is "People who liked old KHV better should stfu or gtfo" how bout you guys can do the same if you can't stand someone having a different opinion. Not directed at anyone in particular, just making a statement.

 

I agree on that last part. Too often people disagree over stupid opinions. Either be respectful or STFU :v

 

I don't have any perception of old or new khv, to me its all just khv. khv has been a part of my life for the better part of a decade now, and it's something I'll probably stick with no matter how it changes. If it becomes truly terrible my presence may become scarce, but I would never just leave.

imo I think most it is just things changing. I've been on this site nearly everyday of the last seven years so it's all just different waves and winds of change, to me. I think where the issue arises is when people come back after months/years away and things aren't how they remember it--it's not good or bad, neither time is 'better.' And sometimes it's the person who has changed, not the site.

As a guy who rarely comes here anymore, but was around back then, I can say that I prefer not to go back to those days where I was the biggest fool on the forum. Moving forward is key.
