So here's my problem. Long ago when my super nintendo still worked and was in my possession there were a ton of old games my brother and I used to play that my older cousin would let us borrow. He had tons of really great games so it was pretty cool, but eventually he took them back of course. It was so long ago that I don't remember some of them, but the other day me and my brother remembered this one game that was so much fun, but we can't remember what it was called. It was an rpg sort of game, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't final fantasy even though if was similar. The most I can remember is that at the end you went to a castle or fortress and had to fight a king and we could never get passed it because we'd finally make it there but we'd be worn out of items from just getting to that point. I do remember that at some point in the game some of the worlds or levels are frozen for some reason, but one of the other game files it wasn't because my cousin had beaten the game or was at a different part. I remember there was one place where there was a waterfall and if you went to it you could have your little guy fall down it, but if you tried when it was frozen you couldn't do it of course. If this game sounds familiar to anyone please tell me! I'd really like to know! Thanks ^^V

There are thousands of games which feature kings as last bosses... and hundreds of RPG's for SNES which feature kings as bossses whom you fight in a giant castle fortress...

Was it medieval? Was it a Lufia series game? Was it Mystic Quest (a Final Fantasy spinoff... with the last boss named "The Dark King"). Was it a tactical RPG, meaning you control armies as well, then it might be Ogre Battle.

Could you be more specific... and yeah... I'm pretty old school.

Edit: If it was for Nintendo it could have been Fire Emblem as well... althoug... I never played Fire Emblem...

Yay! I found out it was Mystic Quest. I got lucky and came across a walkthrough thing and that's definitely the one. Thanks for the help ^_^

    You're welcom.

I personally did not like Mystic Quest... it was extraordinarily simple... its like mash attack on a bunch of villains.

By the way... its possible to kill the last boss in like 2 moves... I've done it before.
