who is better old or new riku

 

Riku from KH2 is better in my opinion.

 

Riku in KH2 by a landslide, Riku's attire in KH1 was crap.

 

KH2 version of Riku.

It's speculated that his Ansem form is an upgrade Dark Mode, but I liked the old one better.
He was rogue.

 

i never heard that, that's actually interesting, i never thought of it that way.

i liked the KH1 Riku better because he used his Dark Skills much better. also, the rivalry between him and Sora made the storyline more interesting, i think that might've been one of the reasons KH2 was less interesting, though you could argue that in a way Roxas was in a rivalry with Sora.

 

KH1 Riku. He had the whole 'I'm evil, yo' rivalry with Sora, and I liked how you finally got hope for him at Hollow Bastion & End of the World. KH2 was more of 'oh my life is so tragic, I'm so ashamed'.

 

New Riku looks, old Riku personality. In KH1, he was an arrogant little sh*t. In KH2, he was a whiny Emo kid who depended too much on a Mouse.

 

Actually, I think he depended more on Mickey in Chain of Memories. KH2 he wasn't really even around Mickey very much. IIRC he ditched him.

 

KH1 Riku. Butt skirt form, dark powers, and the "I'm a Evil dewd so fight meh" personality with Sora. But in looks, KH2. Organization coat wise.

Plus, I'm more fond of Soul Eater than Way To Dawn.

 

As per the others, KHI Riku. In general, he seemed to have more defining character than his KHII counterpart, and for much of the game itself Riku did not act much like the Riku we knew in the first Kingdom Hearts. I can understand the process of change that Riku had undergone in his time within the darkness, however I would say this did not help his actual personality.

KH2 Riku. KH1 Riku was way too arrogant and he just got on my nerves. Plus the KH2 Riku looks cooler :]

 

KH1 Riku 'cause he had LINES. Good lines. While he's awesome in kh2, he's too quiet and has limited screen time =/

 

i liked the old riku better, especially in Reverse/Rebirth. Going into Dark Mode was epic for me. I still like KH2 Riku, but he's a little lame now, hope they give him a new look and just revamp his character in future installments

 

KH1: Bad guy, has emotional trouble, but in the end saves everyone

KH2: Good guy, behind the scenes who assists Sora, helps defeat Xemnas and release the hears from Kingdom Hearts

I think I like the second one, because he was mysterious and interesting, but I wish I could have fought him properly like KH1.

 

KH1 Riku, because he was cool in his dark form.
