It struck me as more Buddhist. You know, meditating, becoming one with nature (the force), etc. But then, if you look hard enough you can find underlying (insert religion here) themes in just about any work of fiction, irrespective of whether or not it was placed there deliberately.

And OMG, Cardcaptors! I completely forgot about that. Yeah, that was amazing. Expect the unexpected!

Yeah if you look really far into something, you'll eventually find themes of some sort.

@Aqua101 Yes! I remember Cardcaptors  that show was great back in the day. Too bad I never realized that the creators cut out like 60% of the episodes when they made the english dub....

Pokemon was one of my favourites. I always loved Cyndaquil while my sister loved Scizor and we used to play games where we were both pokemon trainers and these were our pokemon. I really enjoyed it. Anyway, I also loved Digimon but after the first few series I never saw it again, I don't know why.

    When I grew up a bit (like aged 12) I did enjoy watching Spongebob and Drake & Josh as I enjoyed mindless TV. My favourite show though was Xiaolin Showdown but it only ran for 3 series and I miss it ;-;

I have always loved Bernards watch and Chucklevision but they weren't very well known (I don't think anyway). I really enjoyed Bernards watch because he could stop time and I always wanted it, even to this day xD!

Oh man, how could I forget Bernard's Watch and Chucklevision? I don't think I ever watched an episode of BW without my head exploding from the epicness. Also...

Lol, I think the theme tune will be engraved in my mind forever.

I also forgot abotu Art attack, an amazing art program but there was this bust that spoke and he really freaked me out as a child. However, I always loved the huge pictures he made out of putting materials on the floor. Every day I watched as he made things out of junk and I always thought "Who would make this stuff? xD" I never did that's for sure.

Pesronally, I really enjoyed the older shows on Nick/Cartoon Network. I can remember looking forward to coming home from school to watch them and eat a shitton of snacks

My absolute favorites had to be Hey Anold, Carcaptors, Pokemon/Digimon, ZOIDS and Doug. Doug 5eva.

Dun Dun dun dun dun RAVEN! Loved that show, What wa sthere I liked... let's see.

Get Your Own Back - basically, you embarass your family or relatives and get the chance to Gunge them at the end.
Power Rangers - Yeah I know but when i was a kid, it was in at In Space or Mighty Morphing that time.
Digimon - only times I caught it on TV was during CITV with Season 1 or 2, I literally ask my grandmother to record the episodes since I wasn't much of a morning person.
Pokemon - Ah SMTV live... the only time I saw Declan Donalley cosplay as Misty and Ant as Gary Oak.
Dexter's Lab - ...Loved him but Dee Dee was always the scary one.
Sailor Moon - Okay before you all start asking me what the hell man! I got a very good reason, I never heard of it and my uncle's had Toonami I believe so I wondered what it was and I went ."Oookay... WHERE'S THE GOOD MONSTERS!"
Cardcaptors - I believe I only watched this cause of Keroberos and the cards, I was young back then.
Yu-Gi-Oh! - Everytime I wake for school, i'd see only halve of the episodes cause of my taxi picking me up -grumbles- damn school cutting in on children's card game.

    Oh, let's see.....

That's so Raven- I still <3 that show, even though it only comes on at like three A.m. I'd still watch it.

Pokemon- The first episode, I was hooked for life. My guilty pleasure.

Digimon- I miss that show....I wonder what happened to it.

Hey Arnold!- I loved the movie and I used to make fun of Arnold's football head. Lol.

Cardcaptors- I watch the show online now, when I was young the only thing I could remember was
Kero. Lol, I have two drawings of him on my wall.

The Cosby show- I know its not a KIDS show, but I loved it! Even though I watch reruns on some channel at midnight, I consider myself a Cosby-Fanatic.

Kim Possible- I was Kim's biggest fan. And Monique's.

Sailor Moon- All those Sailors.......Haugh! I miss you Salior Moon.

My favorites growing up were Pokemon, Digimon, Power Rangers (though the only seasons I liked were Mighty Morphing and Dino Thunder. What did those have in common? Jason David Frank), Dragon Ball Z, Mickey's House of Mouse (because that show had style), Duel Masters (epic hilariousness), Xiaolin Showdown, and Cowboy Bebop (they've re-run it so many imes on AS, how could I not have seen it back then?).

It's a funny story with Cowboy Bebop because my mom didn't like that I would be sneaking out of my room late at night to be watching shows with people smoking and shooting each other at the age of 9.

I remember always loving mainly three shows: Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Dragonball Z...
I also really loved Samurai Jack, CatDog, and, if I remember, the old Nick shows, All That! and The Amanda Show.

    Uh, let's see.

My favorite shows, which are still my favorite to day this day, are Digimon, Pokémon, and The Amanda Show.

I just like how they managed the digivolutions in Digimon, and by that, I mean how they had that separate black screen instead of just showing said Digimon digivolving.

As for Pokémon, it was basically the same concept, plus Team Rocket's Pokémon became my favorite.

    ALSO
    ALSO

I have to give mention to a lot of the Toonami shows like Kenshin, DBZ, Yu-Yu Hakusho, Gundam, etc.
They were one of the highlights of my coming home from school each day, and it always brings me so much nostalgia to see them on YouTube and such.

Oh, yeah, Catdog and Dexter's Laboratory were two of mine, too.

Do you remember the bubble gum and monster episode (where they called out attacks Digimon-style) from Dexter's Laboratory?

There are some other childhood cartoons that I grew up with, which are Rugrats, SpongeBob, Rocket Power, and many more.
