Really? What do you think was better? Candy from the 80s and 90s or the candy now in the 2000s? Give me some of your favorites. No local candy! Only manufactured and mass production candy.

Ex. Do not put: chocolate from the store down the street.

Put: Snickers, Pop Rocks, Jolly Ranchers.

Skittles, Hershey Bars, and Kit Kat Bars are my favorite kinds of candies. I remember when I was 6 or something, I used to really like those candy cigarettes (even though I hated the idea of smoking) 0_o

I like caramel candies, (I don't really know what they are called, but they hand them out on Halloween A LOT, and they are in cube) and I like jolly ranchers. Along with Blo-Pops. (:

Sorry, but American "candy" sucks horribly compared with other countries sweets. The only exception are Skittles but that's 'cause you guys have grape flavoured (i think it's grape). I used to like Jolly Ranchers but they taste so bland now-a-days n' they are only useful if you wanna choke.

The old stuff is still sold where I live along side the new stuff, we call them sweets.

Btw, do American call any chocolate or sugar based junk food candy? I've never understood what they see candy as.

Umm, candy aren't really from specific decades, almost all candy you can think of have been in existence for much longer then a single decade...as in, like, over 50 years old >_>

The recipe used in most candy has been changed over the years. New candy has been invented also.

So, from the sentence I wrote above, you should now get the point of this thread, right? xD

Candy back in the 'ole days. Tasted better and not as loaded down with sugar...Or at least that is what my dad tells me.
