So I made this, but apparently never posted it because I was like "Gees, this really sucks!" and I put it out of my head until now. So yeah, I know I'm not the greatest, I was experimenting with Sony Vegas. Critique is very welcomed though, cause I know there's parts that can be greatly improved. I dunno how long I took to make this, but I know it was a looooong time ago. So here we go. Thanks Ace for helping me bring it back from the dead. Song: Breathe Into Me Artist: RED Video: Kingdom Hearts I&II
Old but genuinely fine. It deserves more views than it has. You timed a lot of the scenes greatly with the song. I want to see more from you.
I really liked it :o I don't see why you never deemed it all that good. My favorite thing about it is the tidbit of actual voice from the game - It just seemed so well placed and executed.
Maka: Master of Synchronization. Truly, I must say. I shall certainly first note that the song chosen fit the content of the video - and our specific character followed in question - unbelievably well, especially considering all the sorts of struggles Riku has gone through the story. The song serves to emphasize this in general and bring such to light - being essentially a juxtaposition of Riku's rather confused life. From a technical standpoint, even for an old video it shows a clear mastery and skill - the transitions flowed into one another excellently and the effects in general were very skilfully handled - and, what is more, the effects used added an even greater emphasis on the aforementioned content of the video, which served to tie all of the individual parts together. I must say, madam, such a video alone has proved that you are certainly an AMV virtuoso.
This was well done, i did enjoy how well synchronized the video was with the audio. The song was also a good one to use for Riku, it was "his song" indeed. It was old, and i can imagine some things could be done better now that you look back on it, but it still is well done, you did a marvelous job!
The intro was very good, infact it was all very good. The scenes fit and was well timed, the only thing I could say is to listen to the drum beats more and fit more in at those points. Like you did at 0:23 and 0:30. Just keep experiementing to find what suits you, but good job, keep it up.
*cough* What are you talking about, this is amazing! Like seriously, so well synced and I felt it truly reflected a part of Riku. Seriously, you have a talent for this, and I'm not the only one who thinks so, so keep it up. ;)
This is far better than you give yourself credit for. The timing is amazing, and while some of the effects seem out of place, you did a good job showing Riku's struggles. Believe me, i've been through my "experimenting with Vegas" phase, and you have true talent. Timing is everything in AMVs.
