so I know that you staff rejected taking post counts off of the code vault but..

could you guys at least make a character limit.. so if they don't pass the limit on the characters their post will be deleted?

cause I keep seeing things like "Thanks for the code. this is great."

and it's not really worth the post.. I mean.. how many premiums have I seen come from posts like that in the code vault?

does anyone else agree with me?

Its a bit borederline when it comes to posts like that.
The topics in the code vault are differn't from normal forums, mainly its a request/supply with some discussion but not that much. I don't see the problem with someone thanking the person for a code. It would seem like such a dull negative place if people just asked for a code, someone got it then they never herd from them again.

Obviously I expect the person to drill together a sentance at least if there thanking someone.

If you think theres a post that should be deleted let one of us know and we will check it out.

And well yeah the code vault is for for codes so just a simple thank you will be fine in my eyes but if its like completly off topic like

"Hey guys why does ven look like roxas?"

    Well thats just plain spam

Well I say that perticular thing is fine, because you have to let the person know you recieved the code and it works. What else are you suppoused to say? Not to mention that sentence is 35 characters which would be a ridiculous limit.

Sorry, this won't be done. There are Coders there to monitor the spam and if you find spam, perhaps PM them as you would another staff member in another area. The forum has a character limit set already and sometimes people just write short replies, but those replies do not necessarily count as spam if they are on topic and to the point.

Going to close this since the idea is rejected.
