Kingdom Hearts was aimed at an audience of like, 10+ years old. A lot of kids do browse this site, granted they stay in the KH sections mostly, they might wander into the spam zone and see inappropriate content and be scarred for life. :]

 

They'll just see more of it when they get older in real life. Though, I have to agree to a extent.

 

So? Part of being a kid is the innocence of everything and being clueless and naive.

And stealing cookies from the cookie jar, awww yeah.

 

Isn't it the longer you're clueless the harder the reality check will be so you need to learn when your young where it won't come as a reality-shattering shock?

They will also come across murder, abuse, drugs, violence, and various other things, do you suggest we post those all around too?



Regardless of what some people seem to think, this IS a site aimed at younger people, yes older teens and above do use these boards too, but they need to remember they are posting in a place that has some members as young as 11. If they cannot respect that then they can leave. Vague references and occasional inuendos are one thing, explicit content is another and wont be tolerated regardless of who you are or how much you might disagree.

 

I may have broken that rule several dozens of times.

 

I doubt most kids stay in a naive and clueless state of mind past 12 or 13. They teach you about these things in school as well, you know.

 

I once went through a debate in a matter somewhat similar to this.
Lasted about 30 minutes. Amazingally I won. Though, I have never really looked into this from the way your looking at it. I get the point. I wasnt really refering to the extreme stuff. I agree that you shouldn't just go around posting all about it. I was referring more to the minor things in general. Though in some cases, I do belive the kids should be exposed to extreme stuff. Just by their parents so they know why it is extreme and not a stranger over the internet.

They only teach you 'bout sex. Nothin' else really.
