WHAT was going on with Pluto at the end of KH1 and beginning of CoM? Of all the mnay MANY plot details KH spin offs have filled out for us We still don't know why Pluto was in the Land of Departure, why he led Sora to Castle Oblivion, or what was on that letter from Mickey If the writers had wanted they could have tied it up a little bit smoothly by saying Mickey knew about Ventus or something, but recent games make that impossible
I've heard or thought. or whatever, that Pluto and the rest of the gang really, travel between the worlds because they're reforming after Ansem SoD was destroyed. The barriers of worlds were down as the worlds were being restored so they just walked along to Castle O. In terms of why he led them, probably Mickey's doing or DiZ, trying to get Sora and the gang to the King and Riku who were in the Castle. Then Org turned up and stuff happened. In terms of the letter, pfffffffft
Riku appeared in Castle Oblivion after Sora, and Mickey didn't find out he was there until after that
Or does he.....? No seriously, I don't know. Making sense of these games as a whole is hard enough without getting into the minutiae of it.
Pluto is obviously one of Xhenort's vessels. That's why he lead Sora and the gang everywhere, trying to get him right into Xhenort's clutches...
since he can do that dig thing in c.o. i always thought he was supposed to be like a lesser member of the party who's not always around and shows up sometimes just because. like a joke or something. also like jiminy. remember this is a party of four not three. so why not five
Jiminy disappeared after Traverse Town and didn't show up again until CoM, and then straight disappeared again after the opening for KH2 until Coded rolled around. He's barely relevant enough to be considered In The Party.
Pinocchio says otherwise When Riku first shows up we get a cutscene where the Organization comments on Sora already being in the Castle, adn that Namine is altering his memories. I believe Days gives us n actual time scale, something like three days, but yeah.
