Okamiden: Okami sequel confirmed

Well, there was that picture that in which the markings didn't look as full as Ammy's are and the wolf itself looks younger than Ammy.

 

Im wondering if Otohime's kid will be in here :/

 

Well, if s/he is, I don't think it would be that old yet, right?
I mean Otohime was pregnant during the last part of the game (lol at the inside of the Water Dragon being a modified Hana Valley), and if this is only a few months after Okami, it'd either not been born or just born.
There was some art in the Okami Art Book that had a picture of Otohime and the baby, but there was no specific timeframe.
Then again, there was also a picture of Kushi and Susano's son pulling turnips out of the garden with the fake Hayabusa's pups. Also in an unspecified time in the future.

But if they're going for the whole teamwork thing it wouldn't surprise me if they tweak the timeline.
The timeline for Okami was pretty vague anyway. xD

But the trailer ended with the Konohana Shuffle's ending, or at least something similar to it.. Why?

Actually when you mention the whole tweaking of the timeline theme, it makes me think that the creators of the plot are probably going to add a Japanes folk tale about how the baby hero happens. Something like an unborn child matured by the gods, or a magic incantation that calls forth a proper hero for chibi ammy yo fight with.
I mean, the whole series is based on Japenes folklore so I guess it may continue like that. Idk.
