Well, I made these last night and I thought I would show! P.S- I really don't think I like how the red (Flames) came out, I tried mixing them with the smudged C4D but mehhhh :\
I like these. I couldn't tell they were flames at first, but I like the whole "coming out of the mist" effect. But there are some parts like the corners that are too...solid?
I really like the avatar shape - you did something a bit different and pulled it off. The background doesn't suit the foreground - it just came across to me as squares squares squares squares squares AOWIJDOIJD BIG WOLF THINGIE! It seemed a bit too sudden of a change - however the avatar had this issue less because it had less dominance of the squares. And finally I think that the font of the signature works well with the overall feeling I think you are trying to put across.
That avatar looks like something colours would make from khinsider. Nonetheless, it's rather decent although I'm wondering if the stock is LQ, and there's something not right with this tag, it's decent, but something isn't just right.
