He really was quite foolish to do this deed. He had already gotten away with murder, literally, because of a cop being stupid and racist. Despite DNA evidence, he was seen as 'innocent' except in the civil case that concluded he 'could have done it'.

I realize the guy lost a lot of money and items etc, but he should have totally known better than to risk anything when all likely evidence points he did the murder in the first place. This act years later to be a tough guy with his buddies just was lame. He should have just let the material objects go. I do wonder what his sentence is going to be now that he's been proven guilty of this, along with the others involved.

He had it all. A Hall of Fame Football career. A nice guy image(He was asked to play Terminatior. Thank God he didn't take it) And he blew it by killing his wife.

If he was found guilty in the murder case. Would he get death? I know it doesn't matter but I was just wondering.

In the first case he faced, he was found innocent due to some issues with evidence and a cop that decided to call him the n word and slander him. The case was unclear but because of the cop being an idiot, the lawyers on the defense side were able to use it to get him out of the criminal court.

However, there was a civil court that followed in which he was found that he 'most likely' could have committed the murders. Therefore he had to compensate with money and some other things. So though he was found innocent in criminal court, the family that sued him won because the evidence still pointed out that he had a likely high chance of having committed the atrocity and there was no evidence whatsoever that showed anyone else could have done the deed.

In effect, had O.J. not done what he did this time, he had lost considerable money in dealing with lawyers and the failed civil case, but he still had enough to live decently and he had not lost his daughters. If he would have just sucked it up and not been a moron, he could essentially have lived out his life with no more prison potential experiences. Even if now they came up with evidence to say that he did kill, he could not be retried for the same case, so people coming forward now is worthless. However, this new situation, he screwed himself over on big time. Hope that explains the situation.

OJ, I'm sure, is guilty of many things.

Luckily, he finally got caught for one of his many mistakes.

OJ finally got what he deserved. What goes around comes back around. Looks like his luck ran out and now he gets to regret his poor choices in jail where he should of been 13 years ago.

god I am so glad he got put in jail. it scared me, that he could get away with murder like that. who else could get away with it then? and didn't he write a book on how he would have gotten away with murder, if he had murdered his wife?
