That's the thing, I've done a paragon and renegade run of ME2, and (minor spoilers)

The paragon route is Shepard politely asks to kiss her, and Renegade is he kisses her by force. Both lead to a romance. And they hide these well , too. The messages may LOOK innocent, but when you click them for all you know Shepard will say "Take me here and now, Miranda!"
