Ah, I see. But wait, aren't most of Elizabeth's requests just to give the player an excuse to level grind? I usually end up gaining two or three levels in the process of completing the shadow hunt based requests. Same for the requests where I have to find rare weapons. Killing every enemy from point A to point B is just how I play RPGs. I even had Death come after me on one request completion run through Tartarus. I died horribly.

Just do the ones with time constraint, then. Then you can do the others later on.

 

ok, here's what you do to beat the boss.

step 1: quit persona

step 2: find a better game to play

 

They aren't. They're a part of the game to complete just like the main plot. Writing things off as an excuse to grind is disrespectful and cynical to people who FC and to the developers. Everything that is put there is meant to be done, it's not a means to an end, it's there for your entertainment just as the rest of the game is, just because you are allowed to skip it doesn't mean that you should.

 

Oh, I never skipped them. They were a great addition to the game and it would have been incredibly dry without them. They just felt like they were there to get the player's level up without the tedium of grinding. And besides, if I didn't do the requests, I wouldn't have gotten to

To me, it's only tedious if it feels like grinding. Elizibeth's requests don't feel grindy (even though they tend to be), so they're not tedious.

The title of this thread brings back horrible memories. There are some full moons that should never be seen!

 

Compared to the floor bosses the full moon bosses are usually quite easy.
The hotel one was the only shadow I had a hard time with because it forces you to have Yukari in your team when I never really used her.

What the **** Trig, P3 aint even hard =/

 

This is the first time I've ever really had trouble, and I get easily irritated when I die in vidya.

The boss was just overwhelming. It would constantly do AOE attacks, then cast Fear. By time I would cure Fear and heal everyone, it'd just repeat the process until I couldn't do ****.

 

I use the term Level Crunching.

Maybe for you, some people think games that aren't normally hard hard, and some of the hardest games easy, no one is the same in terms of game play ability.

Freaking beat that boss in Kinky Hotel my first try no problem. All I did was kill all the shadows in every floor and had no problem with all the bosses. Heck, beat the last boss first try no prob.
