Cassidy doesnt seem to like you very much

    Hmmm...niether does Snoop...

And we all know Ice T doesn't

And pretty much every other decent rapper doesnt. Look em up on youtube. No one gets this much hate for no reason at all.

Call me a hater, but I liked hip hop when it meant something.

    And I'm not alone

This been a public service announcement by me. Download my mixtape when it comes out. I'll be sure yo diss soulja boy. Maybe.

Not really. Nothing to do with you, but I really gotta show these to people. I'm not just some lone hatter, I'm one of many. Logically if everyone hates you, you've got SOMETHING wrong with you.

Well, not always. In Nazi Germany, pretty much the entire population hated the Jews because they were convinced to hate them. It doesn't mean anything was wrong with them at all. I still agree that Soulja Boy sucks, though.

Thats slightly different though. Hitler, a non-jew, infulenced them all to hate jews. All these people began to hate soulja boy because of soulja boy 8D

So anyway, I'm gonna write my name on my sunglasses. Brb.

I don't like modern (post 90's) rap, but 90's and 80's rap is thoroughly enjoyable to me.

True, the situation was a bit of a stretch, but it still pretty relevant. Anyway, take a picture of that. That would be the best parody ever. xD

Anyway, this just shows how close-minded people are to certain things. Honestly, why hate on him? Because he doesn't rap like lil Wayne? Because his album went platinum and he didn't even have substantial lyrics in it? Because he made a dance that made him rich? What did he do wrong? He didn't kill anyone. He didn't say anything to offend anyone ('cept for "Super Soak dat Hoe"). He's not dissing other rappers and yet you're still hating on him. He was just doing what he knew best and then there close-minded rappers who just hate him for doing his stuff differently. Hell, Kanye West supported him and so did many other people, but you fail to show that in your first post.

Hell, the whole story of how he came to be is freaking inspirational. He basically started out underground and worked his way up. But, no matter what, people were even hating on him then. But, he just didn't listened to them and kept on making music. He had some nice lyrical music too. Then he got signed to Mr. Collipark even though people were saying he wasn't gonna get no where. Then they said his first album was gonna flop, but it went platinum. He's living inspiration that you can do anything if you set your mind to it, and people don't see that.

The only thing that slipped him up was his first album. It didn't have good lyrics, so that's why he didn't get much respect. Even now he's improving and he used to be great back in the day too...and all those rappers hating on him was all because of his first album. Sure, you can say that his first album sucks, but not Soulja Boy.

And ghetto, weren't you a Soulja Boy fan, too?

I'd write like "hai I'm soulja boy" on my glasses and take a picture of myself with a superman costume. xD

Not only was his first single repetitive and annoying in my opinion, but it was pretty generic. From what I understand, his first album was the same. Yea, we should give him a chance, but Ghetto and I are basically saying that with those two facts already set, it's gonna be tough for him to come back.

I'll give you that, but I've listened to his mixtapes and his songs he realeased on youtube and he's doing better. So, probably by a few months from now, everyone will have a new look towards Soulja Boy. Not only that, but you guys and other rappers just judge him off of one album. The least you could do was wait until he develops as an artist to see where he's going.

Nor does Cassidy, yet I like him. Cassidy has dissed wayne time and time again yet I sitll like him.

Recycled beat scheme. Horrible lyrics. No meaning what so ever.

He says a **** load more than super soak that hoe. He dissed kanye on a song. He called Ice T and old ass rapper or some **** like that. He said he's better than Wayne, Jay-Z, and Kanye yet he has done nothing to prove it.

He did nothing different. People have done what he did before, but he did it to such a magnitude and did it so many times that GOOD music has been eclipsed by stupidity. Different is Wayne doing rock and Kanye's new Album.

He makes response videos to every diss that gets enough publicity for people to know about it. Example: Ice T, Snoop, Myspace getting hacked.

    No

And also the fuel for the majority of the hate hip hop gets

I liked him when I was 12, imature, and wanted to dance.

Serisouly, what Cassidy said was right. People who used to get signed were people with talent. I know white boys in prep school with more talent than him.

We're predicting where he's going. Since he only has one album, that's really all we can judge off of. You're right, you can't really accurately judge an artist off of their first album, but based on that one album, this is what we think. His next album could be the best compilation of rap songs in the history of the genre, or it could fall flat on its face. We'll just have to wait and see.

I heard the majority of his two Mixtapes and his whole album.

I'm pretty sure Immortal Technique once said something like "Just beacuse 100000 people bought you album doesnt mean it's good, it just means 100000 people are stupid"

That's his first album and I agree, it was garbage, but don't judge him off of just one album, you know?. Not to mention not every song has to be meaningful or else we'd be listening slow songs every time we turned on the radio.

He actually said "I'm not Kanye, I didn't drop out of college" and Kanye's first album was called "College Dropout", so he's basically referring to Kanye's first album, not dissing him. And he really didn't say he was better than Wayne, Jay-Z nor Kanye. If you really believe he did, then please provide proof. Also, at least he doesn't go around saying he's the "Best Rapper Alive" like lil Wayne.

It's just one album, though. You can't really judge an artist off of one album. He understands that his album had bad reviews and not a lot of people liked it, and he's training himself to become better.

He only responded to Ice T because he said for him to "eat a ****" and Soulja Boy took that personally, so he had to respond. And the Snoop Dogg thing is only because he got interviewed for it and I don't see how responding to his myspace getting hacked would get him publicity.

He didn't have good lyrical songs on his first album, but he did on his mixtapes and past songs from his underground days.
Hip Hop was being hated even before he got signed and there is always gonna be someone who dislikes something and there is always gonna be someone who likes the very same thing 10 times more.

So you're saying white boys usually can't rap?

lol More like 100000 curious about his music. But whatever.

End of the last video. meaningful song and not slow.

Didn't he proceed to say something about himself being extremely smart afterwards? Kinda sounds like a comparison, and not a good one. Last video in the first post he said he was hotter than all of them. He goes around saying he's better than the guy who says hes the best. Pretty ballsy for someone who has done nothing. And Wayne proved himself. He was at one point the best in the industry, but now he's falling off a bit to go do rock.

    1 album and 2 mixtapes

He called out the hacker and dissed him about 5 times when he should have just moved on. And with the Ice T he could just ignore it instead of getting butthurt and with the interview he can just say he won't speak on it.

Two or three songs were better than his usuals because of better rhymes. Flow is still the same, lyrics still had no meaning.

Every time someone on KHV starts to hate on hip hop, who is usualy the first person they mention?
I'm talking about all the hate for modern hip hop, not ALL of hip hop.

    Steroetypicaly speaking, yes.
