Of Souls, Keyblades, and Devils

This is another tale of souls and swords…now hearts and demons are involved.

Sora and Riku heard rumors of an azure knight that wields an odd shaped weapon and wanders the worlds, devouring the souls of everyone he encounters. Hearing this, they decided to meet up with King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy before they go and meet this guy. Meanwhile, Dante and Nero hear an old legend about the two swords, Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, from Lady. They, Dante and Nero, both thought that it was just a bunch of bull until Dante got a call of a man in blue armor slaughtering people with a big sword that has a large eye in it. After that, they set out to find out the truth about the legend. Organization XIII also hears this story from a man carrying a large scythe. They too go out in search for the two swords.

Rules:
- No God-Modding, Auto-Hitting, and the like
- Ask permission before killing a character
- PG-14 at max
- Swearing’s allowed, just use asterisks(but don’t bomb it)
- Keep the spamming under control
- You can have up to 3 characters max(including OCs)
- Obey the main rules
- Be grammatically correct
- Cannot start with a soul sword or find one right away(Nightmare and Cervantes are exceptions, but they have variations of Soul Edge so it doesn’t really count)

ooc: you're in too. and i guess we could start now, even if we don't have anyone as riku.

bic: Nightmare was walking in a barren land. He then came upon a small town. Not even thinking about it, he started to attack the town and slaughter everyone. No one was spared. All those killed had their souls devoured. But it was not enough. "These are weak. I need stronger souls!" he roared. Then he left, leaving the ruined town behind him.

 

OOC: If you'd allow me to break the 3 character limit, I'd take Riku, along with Siegfried and Zassalamel.

OMFG MUST HAVE DANTE! And Roxas. I would have Nero as well, but... no go there.And possibly Lady as well? Then I could have some regular domestic violence against Dante :D

"An Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, huh?" Dante asked as he took a bite of pizza.

"Supposedly two incredibly powerful swords, one of them evil and one of them good," Lady confirmed, leaning over the desk at Dante, "The Soul Edge was almost destroyed hundreds of years ago, but it possessed the body of a knight and turned him into the Azure Nightmare-"

"Hold on a second, it turned him into a 'nightmare'?" Dante cut Lady off, "You're saying that there's a sword - two swords - that are just as powerful as my dad's?" Dante shoved the rest of the slice into his mouth and added with his mouth full; "Yeah, right."

"There have been sightings," Lady argued, "wierd stories of people going missing. You know how they work."

Dante spread his arms, indicating his office filled with records of his achievements, not to mention the Sparda hanging from the wall behind him, "Then I'll just wait for a job so I can send this third-rate demon straight to-" Ring ring...

Dante and Lady glanced at each other. He slammed the heel of his boot into the top of the desk, sending the reciever of the old dial phone spinning into the air. Dante shot out a hand and grabbed it as it flew past his ear.

"Devil May Cry?" Dante answered. As the person calling spoke a grin grew wider and wider on Dante's face.

"I'll be right there," Dante slammed the phone down and stood up.

Lady looked at him questioningly, "Our mystery demon?"

Dante nodded, sheathing Rebellion across his back and holstering Ebony & Ivory. He twitched his coat, causing it to billow dramatically and strode towards the front door. Lady was in his path.

"I'm coming along too," Lady said without possibility for argument.

"Do what you want," Dante brushed her off, sidestepping the woman, "But don't expect to get paid."

The two stood before the office doors.

"Ok, you ready?" Dante asked Lady and turned the handle. It wouldn't budge. Dante struggled with it and swore. Lady hid a chuckle. Dante took a step back and with a mighty kick blew the double-doors off their hinges.

"Come on babe, let's rock!"

 

Zasalamel looked up at the Castle That Never Was. "This must be the place where that Organization resides..." he said. As he entered, a bright light engulfed him. On the other side was the chair room. All of the members were there.

All seemed to be at peace at Disney Castle. Goofy was dozing off on the job again, Donald was avoiding taking Daisy on the date he promised, the usual. Until... One stormy afternoon, a letter was delivered to the king. It told of transending history and the world; a tale of Souls and Swords, eternally retold...

 

While Nightmare was making havoc in the worlds, a strong presence dropped him to his knees. "This force...it's the same as that accursed sword, Soul Calibur. And that means Siegfried's near..." he growled. But he soon found two people in his way.

 

OoC: Huzzah!

IC: Lady and Dante stood in Nightmare's path. Lady held her submachine gun and pistol in either hand. Dante wielded Ebony and Ivory. His only other weapon was Rebellion.

"Hey ugly!" Dante called, "I've heard some stories about a two-bit demon trying to make a name for himself. And you know, this is my turf. I don't take too kindly to other demons around here."

"Cut the cr*p Dante," Lady cut him off, "We have a job to do."

Dante laughed, "Alright, have it your way," He took a few steps towards Nightmare, "Let's rock!" He sighted down Ivory's barrel at Nightmare's head.
