Teriana frowned, confused by his words. "But if the person who wanted to hurt you was watching the cave, would they not have covered all entrances? Come to think of it, wouldn't they have stopped me from entering in the first place?" Ana shrugged, rearranging her basket. "You are most welcome William Snow. I hope you return the kindness to someone in need. But I will be returning the way I came. I have no fear of the people who tread the dark. It is they who should fear me." She said with a grim smile before turning away and heading back up into the caves.
"Best of luck to you, and may the gods grace your journey."

Seth continued to walk, as he did, he passed a young woman scrubbing her door, sporting various marks on her neck. Seth couldn't help but chuckle when he saw this. "Oh I will be sure to visit you later my dear." He mumbled to himself as he kept walking before she became at all suspicious of his presence there by her house. Besides he was still only about a block away from the wharf where he had caused all the trouble, and despite changing faces so the guards couldn't track him, he wasn't confident that there wasn't any witchers in this town. The town was a big place after all, one could be hiding anywhere, and if they caught a whiff of him, well he might not be able to return and visit this pretty young lady again, and that would just ruin his day.

Seth slipped further into town, blending with the crowd and passing through various streets, but not without leaving a trail of people trying to figure out who just stole their money. If he was going to keep himself entertained he would have to have money to pay for all the brothels he planned to go into after he finished messing with the young woman from before. It was always so much fun when they realized though he wore a different face, the same man that had scared and hurt them before had found them again and was back. A shiver went up his spine as he imagined the look in her eyes when she found out. Perhaps he wouldn't kill this one though. She was almost too pretty and almost innocent to waste, despite her job. Even after finding out he was a doppler, what was she going to do? Give his description to the police? Like that would do anything.

Tatiana thought that she could feel someone watching her, but when she looked back there was no one there, so back she went to scrubbing. Her back and shoulders ached from having to do it so much. Stopping to take a break for just a moment, Tatiana allowed the salty air caress her skin ans sooth any pain from the wounds she had received from her client. A nice long hot bath, that was what she needed, and that was what she would have as soon as she was done with cleaning the outside of the house, and that was going to take a lot of work to do. It didn't take long for her to get back to work, scrubbing more than just the door, but the rest of the house, hoping by some miracle she could get all the writing off of it. However she would soon find this to not be the case.

As she worked a couple of local boys came along laughing. They began to throw rotten fruit at her house, despite her being right there and then telling her she didn't belong there, calling her bad names and simply making her life miserable. Instead of yelling back or defending herself, Tatiana took everything that they threw at her, all the insults and rotten fruit. She worked through it all, still cleaning, now just with more to clean and now she needed a bath more than ever due to the fruit not only being aimed at the house. As they left Tatiana finally stopped working and covered her face, beginning to sob.

"I refuse to leave someone to fight alone. If you will not run then I will fight alongside you." The young witcher told the girl, not wasting time before moving onto the offense as a couple more rabid dogs came to attack them. Aaron's movements were swift and concise, it rarely took him more than one swing in order to kill the animals. He knew what he was doing, that was for sure, even though he was fresh out of the academy. His biggest downfall however was his want to keep everything alive. He wanted to protect people. He wanted to protect Tatiana, however he didn't want to kill more than he had to. However if people like this woman were going to remain in harms way, then he would do what he had to in order to keep them safe. It wasn't long before they took down the last dog, no more seemed to be come from the cave it seemed. Aaron secured his sword on his back once more before looking at the young lady. "So what are you doing out here anyways? What is your name?" He asked her in a casual tone.

'But if the person who wanted to hurt you was watching the cave, would they not have covered all entrances? Come to think of it, wouldn't they have stopped me from entering in the first place?' "People are not the smartest people around. Yes the smart thing would have been to trap me in this cave forever. Maybe trap you in here once you entered but that did not happen." Before Teriana left he went under the water and kept going he was under the water longer then what should be possible. He followed the cave under the water for some time. Then he came back to where Teriana was standing. He could follow the under water cave, but there was no telling how far it might go. "Teriana I have decide that I will go with you. You freed me and I must go with you. Besides if the person who attacked me is still around two people are better then one." He stepped out of the water and stood by ready to go with Teriana. Teriana's fire magic was some what interesting. What could she do with it he wondered. What did being frozen in ice do to him? He had the power over wind and water. The there was the fact that the cold did not bother him anymore.

A man stood there. The fight was all over. This man did not want to kill. It was unusual. 'I refuse to leave someone to fight alone. If you will not run then I will fight alongside you.' The man had said. "I can take care of myself thank you." She was not angry, in fact there did not seem like she was expressing any emotion. "The fight is over yet you seem like you do not want to kill. It is kill or be killed out here." It was the way of life as a witcher. He did not know the pain her pain. Her whole town, her family was killed by the very things he did not want to kill. She felt like he would one day find out the truth. 'So what are you doing out here anyways? What is your name?' She let out a sigh. "I was at Kaer Morhen. There was to be a witcher training hall thing there, but it does not matter. I am on my way to Oxenfurt. Name is Olivia Fulmar."

He had dug the post holes and erected the 6 poles that would support his new home, it was significantly smaller than his old one, but what would he need all that room for? He was on his own again, he still felt numb inside from the shock of losing everything he had worked so hard to build. It was good that the work would provide some distraction of it all. He did it all himself for he couldn't afford to have it all built for him. It wasn't a very difficult home to build anyways 6 poles to hold up the roof and to use as bases for the walls around it. Simple, effective, cheap and easy to repair. He felled another tree and started to divide it into planks to start building the walls. He'd start with the north eastern corner for the winds came in from there, it'd atleast give him a corner to rest after he had finished the roof, for he was certain he wouldn't be able to get it all done today, even if his legs were good he would be unable to complete it in time, now he'd be lucky if he could get it all done by tomorrow... Raymond worked as hard as he could throughout the day atleast getting to the point where he could sleep underneath a roof he could call his own again. It wasn't much, but it was all he had, all he needed as the man drifted off to sleep, with his sword laying next to him.

What a curious reaction the drunkard had. Callum had merely cut off his drinking and the man had frozen solid. Then again, it wasn't that unusual due to his nature of being a Witcher. In any case, he wouldn't be drinking anymore, Calllum was sure of it, and thus he had avoided social interaction. Huzzah. He turned away and took a step away before he felt a familiar vibration on his chest. The medallion he and most other Witchers wore was vibrating, the one that vibrated only in the presence of monsters. So, either one of the other drunks was a monster or...

Spinning around to face Zack, he stared at him without a word for a moment. "You know, there's a hell of a lot of things I hate about the world. Poverty, fires, abusive fathers, but you know there is one thing that I have to say I hate the most" the Witcher said as he gripped the bottom of the table Zack was seated at. "It's been a while since I've gotten to slay a Doppler, and I relish every minute of it" the male said as he heaved and flipped the table up and drew his silver longsword as the table fell backwards towards Zack.

Yana frowned a little. "That old, ratty thing? That's no fun. But I suppose if it'll stop your whining for a few minutes, I probably should" the witch said, before looking the golem up and down. "See, if you could do that the first time we wouldn't be having to do this or get medicine for your sickness" she stated. Yana then skipped away a littleways to a tree with a stuffed rabbit sitting in the fork of it. It was a little high up, but Yana had been an expert at climbing things since she was like, 3, and so after about two minutes she had obtained the bunny and then she tossed it towards Annabelle. "Theeeere you go, now hurry up, the sooner we get medicine the sooner you'll be all better and then we can keep practicing!" the spellslinger exclaimed as she turned and raced into the deep, dark cave, giggling and cackling every so often as she imagined what was to come.

@Magick ....sort of an opportunity there with the cackling if you so choose too

Veera stopped along one of the side streets near the ocean. Her sensitive ears picked up the sound of crying. A woman. She turned down the street, and happened upon a young woman, a girl really, attempting to scrub what appeared to be slanderous writing and fruit off the side of a house. Probably her own. Veera walked closer, her footsteps quiet as she carefully made sure to appear in front of the girl, so as not to startle her.
"Are you having trouble?" She asked quietly, crossing her arms over her shoulders as the hilts of her swords caught the light. Witchers, by their own code, couldn't technically take contracts without some sort of payment. The payment doesn't have to be money. She added to herself as the light caught her eyes, making them shimmer. The world suddenly lit up and she had to squint, waiting until the light passed behind a cloud and wasn't so blinding.

Zack stumbled back as the table fell forward, missing his toes by mere inches as it slammed into the ground. The entire tavern went quiet, and his drunken brain scrambled for an escape route, a hope, a plea. "I'm...I'm not a doppler." He slurred, fear evident in his voice. "I'm a human, just like the rest of them." He fumbled for the dagger at his side and pulled it out, dropping the sheath to the ground and grabbing the blade nearly hard enough to cut his skin. "See? I can touch silver. I'm not a doppler." His voice had taken on a pleading quality. But who's wouldn't? Who had a prayer when they were up against a witcher? With the exception of a mage, there wasn't a soul alive who could compete with them.
"I'm not a doppler." He repeated, tears of fear in his eyes. Please gods, not today. Not today and I'll never drink again.

"Besides, two people are better then one."
"I couldn't agree more." Teliana murmured as the cave filled with the sound of cackling. It was both familiar and unnerving, and she placed her basket to the side, her subconscious already telling her that she was going to up for a fight. She needed to keep the plant ingredients safe for her journey back. She needed to keep them safe for him. "William, I would prepare yourself. I think we're going to be in for a bit of combat." She rolled up her peasant dress sleeves, the fire itching to flare to life around her hands. Not yet. She told herself. Not yet. There was a slight chance this person would be friendly. But as the laughter grew closer, in her heart Ana knew this wasn't the case. "F*ck." She said plainly, letting her hands warm.

Annabelle grabbed her bunny and hugged it close to her chest, not really caring that her blood was dripping on it. It was comforting to have the bunny near, especially when they were going to do something like going into a deep dark cave. She hated the dark. Annabelle followed Yana, but not too closely. She dismissed her Golem before following however. She didn't need that thing with her causing her to be even more jumpy in the cave at its shadow or something. Annabelle wouldn't speak up as they walked, Yana's laughing made her grip the teddy harder. She simply followed followed Yana to the cave with nothing better to do and really no other choice given it was Yana and Yana didn't like being disobeyed.

A woman approached Tatiana as she was crying around the side of her house. From the tone in the womans voice she didn't seem to mean her any ill will. "I-I'm fine. It just as been a long day." Tatiana tried to explain as she moved her hair in attempts to block the woman's view of the many marks left on her by the man at the brothel. "Don't worry about me. I will just finish cleaning up and then you and the rest of the neighbourhood doesn't have to see me, I don't have to exist to you." Tatiana told her, so used to people only talking to her in order to tell her to leave because she didn't belong there.

Seth had become bored of walking around rather quickly and decided to backtrack to Tatiana's house right away instead of waiting awhile. When he got within distance to see, he realized that she was not alone, but that wouldn't be much of a problem. He snuck around to a back ally then behind the house. He slipped around the corner, a steel dagger in had as he approached Tatiana, pressing it to her back. "Come my dear." He whispered in her ear as he looked up to see that the woman that was with Tatiana was more than a random citizen, but a Witcher. Could his day get any better? "I wouldn't try anything if I were you, one flinch from you and this dagger goes straight through this lovely ladies back and into her heart." Seth threatened, a smirk spreading across his face as he looked at Veera. "If you listen I won't kill her. Come watch and you will see. She will be alive by the end. I swear, you may just not want to let us be alone." He added wanting the witcher to watch. He wanted her to feel helpless as she was forced to watch every horrible thing he had planned to do to the girl that he held the knife too.

Tatiana was forced forward by Seth as he finished talking. There was a great deal of panic in her eyes, but after Seth had placed the knife to her back he also placed his hand over her mouth. Though she did not recognize the man as the same one from before, she had a bad feeling about it. Just in the way he spoke, it was familiar. Tears welled in Tatiana's eyes as he pushed her through her back door and shoved her onto her bed soon after. His knife never faltered from being held above some sort of vital spot as he worked with stripping her of all clothing and tying down her arms, legs, and gagging her once again. She was not getting out of this so easily was she?

"There you go, doesn't this remind you of earlier?" Seth asked as he moved the hair out of Tatiana's face. "I don't know why you are trying so hard to hide these marks, I think they are beautiful. Perhaps we should make them harder to cover!" As Seth said that his knife moved up right below her collar bone, slashing one of the red marks on her skin from him biting her earlier. Seth then chuckled as she attempted to scream through her gag, simply moving his dagger back into place over her heart, a reminder to the Witcher not to get too close. It wasn't long before he dropped his own pants and started to have his way with the tied down young woman, stopping every now and then to cut her, or bite her, or anything really to make her suffer. Oh the muffled sobs were like music to his ears and knowing that he had the perfect leverage, a hostage on the witcher, something that could break her mind, was amazing. He had not had that much fun in years, but the fun would soon have to come to a close. "I would love to stay and have more fun, but I am scared if I do, my life might be in danger, you know how it is don't you?" Seth said, patting Tatiana's cheek before giving her two more really deep cuts. "Now you could either save her, or kill me. You won't be able to do both before she dies. And remember I didn't kill her. If she dies that is on you, I keep my promises. I never said I would majorly injure her, just not kill her. Make a wise choice my dear Witcher friend." Seth warned as he started for the door, not bothering to be slow to taunt more. Witchers were fast and he had to put distance between them or else the woman was going to find a way to keep the girl from dying then be on his heels right away, and a change of skin was not going to help much this time.

The final two cuts came and Tatiana tried to scream louder than before, for them still to just be a muffle. Her body was covered in blood from various cuts that the doppler and decided to give her, and his sexual action, the way he rubbed himself against her, had cause the blood to smear everywhere making it hard to tell were each cut was. But with these final two, Tatiana was finding it hard to breath as the world spun. He obviously knew where to cut that wouldn't kill her right away but left for too long would. She could only home the lady from earlier would be willing to help. Tatiana turned her tear stained face towards Veera, a silent beg for help.

"I don't think it has to be that way all the time if you just look at how the creature lives. Yes some kill for the sake of killing but these ones..." Aaron trailed off as he walked over to one of the dogs and placed his hand on it's side, feeling each rib on its overly slip side. "...these ones were just starving, looking for any source of food for their family." Aaron then walked into the cave where he found a couple pups, huddled together looking scared. He quickly stuck his sword into the side of each. "Those two had no chance of surviving now that their family was dead. They can't hunt on their own yet and would starve to death. That was a mercy killing. But not everything has to die." Aaron stated back to the girl. Perhaps he had too big of a heart, or just knew what it was like to be something that didn't quite seem to fit in anywhere and was starving.

"Anyways, I just came from the academy. Would you like me to take you back there? I graduated yesterday and was on my way home, but a detour back wouldn't hurt. I can show you around the area too if you want." He offered the girl not know if she turned back because she didn't know where she was going or got too nervous. "Name is Aaron by the way, Aaron Risen. Nice to meet you." He said as he offered his hand for a hand shake.

Veera had reached for her swords, but when the man had threatened the girl she had let her hands lower back down. She could go through the girl, yes, but her mentor had taught her life was precious in all forms. Except those of man killing monsters, of course. Instead she could only do as the man asked and follow them, letting her mind go blank as she witnessed the brutality of a nature that was far more twisted then any she had come across before. Even vampires had a sense of duty to their prey. This was just blatant violence for violence's sake. With each passing minute, the black thread of anger that had woven around Veera's heart clenched tighter, growing stronger. "I will kill you for this," She promised with her hands clenched, ready for any given weakness to be shown so she could end this girl's misery. She almost wanted to, right there, and kill the son of a bitch, but something in the girl's eyes pleaded for life.

Despite everything the poor, bloodstained human had been through, she still wanted to live. As Seth exited, Veera whispered the words of a curse, using them as a chain to constrict the anger inside of her, and remind her.
"Nowhere is safe. No dark corner is too far for my wrath to reach you. Fear me now and run, for you have incurred the rage of a witcher. And I swear, on every drop of cursed blood that runs through my veins, that you will die by my hand." She turned, putting him out of her mind as she tended to the girl the best she could, removing the gag and cutting away the bonds. One of her mage friends would be of use now, as a Witcher potion was all she had apart from herbs. But while the potion had a good chance of working miracles on the resilient girl, it also had just as good of a chance at killing her. And she would die in agony.

"Cross that bridge when we get there, eh?" she whispered to the injured soul as she worked to stop the bleeding and bandage the wounds left. "Why do I recognize your face?" She murmured, more to herself then her until now silent conversation partner. Gently, she brushed a tangled strand of hair from the girl's face, frowning before grabbing a nearby blanket that had been spared the carnage, and wrapping it around the girl, picking her up and carrying her into a different room. "You don't need to see that. But I promise you, sweet soul. I have claimed that one's pain, and his death shall be mine." Until she could lead and start tracking him, however, she needed to stay with the girl and make sure she would make it through the night.

According to where Ava was in my last post she was near Kaer Morhen well not anymore. She left Kaer Morhen ages ago and was some how able to get to a different location it was almost like magic. The gold in her pockets were not anything she wanted more. The mine had very little. She let out a sigh. She would have to continue looking in different towns and mines. She continued to walk. Kaer Morhen was long gone by now. Where would be the next place to look for gold? She continued to walk passing various cave and forest as she went. She was now approaching Novigrad. Perhaps this would be a good place to destroy next. It nothing else it would be fun and best of all free. She quite enjoyed destroying this man's reputation. There was a smile on her face as she walked into town.

'I don't think it has to be that way all the time if you just look at how the creature lives. Yes some kill for the sake of killing but these ones....these ones were just starving, looking for any source of food for their family.' The man had said. "You do not know what they can do. I have seen it I have live it. Monsters are monsters." Then the man asked if she wanted to go back and see the academy. It seemed to be a huge step backwards to go back there. "I guess I will go back with you it is not like I have anything better to do." She took the hand Aaron offered. There was one thing that seemed out about Aaron. She let her hand drop. "Do you always walk around without shirt?" She asked, with curiously. She was ready to head out back to Kaer Morhen. This man was somewhat interesting.

Teliana agreed that the two of them was better then being by ones self. He followed behind Teliana back though the cave. 'William, I would prepare yourself. I think we're going to be in for a bit of combat.' Wow I thought no one was watching that it would be safe that no one would be here thinking the sarcasm and words. He had told Teliana about this not being safe, but no. Apparently it would be fine. He could feel the heat coming off the rocks. "They are a fire user." he whispered. Anyone could tell by the heat coming off the up coming person.

It was painful to move her arms and legs as the restrains were cut away, but she did anyways, bringing her arms to her side and closing her legs. She was completely naked before this woman, but no shame was felt, instead just relief that she was alive. Tatiana began to sob and tremble as Veera worked on her various wounds, trying to stop the bleeding. The world was spinning around her, even with Veera's attempts, she was still suffering from blood loss, causing her to go ghostly pale. Despite all of this, she still attempted to talk, her voice weak from the screaming and slightly distorted by the sobs. "You're... a witcher. My brother just graduated from the academy. Perhaps you have met him..." Before she could continue to a name she let out a groan, gripping for one of her wounds as Veera was bandaging it. Tatiana grit her teeth trying not to scream in pain as the necessary pressure was applied to slow the bleeding. Slowly the pain blended in with the rest of the pain that wracked her body and Tatiana relaxed slightly, however now breathing really hard. Her sobs became silent as her entire body shuttered.

She didn't fight as Veera wrapped her in a blanket and picked her up, she couldn't fight even if she wanted to. It was a struggle for Tatiana to even keep her head up, so there was no use trying to protest being moved from her now blood stained bed. However where Veera brought her was a room that Tatiana rarely entered. She tried to keep things just the way they were when he left. It was her brother Aaron's room.
"Aaron... I am sorry, I couldn't keep myself safe..." The girl said softly as she glanced over at a picture on a shelf of their family from before her mother had died and her father had left them. Before she was forced to work at a brothel for money, a time when their family was respected still. Tatiana then looked back at Veera, moving her head slow as not to make things worse than they already were for her. "Thank you.... for not leaving me...." She said as her eyes drooped, she was tired, but she forced them to stay open, she couldn't sleep. Tatiana was afraid to fall asleep, afraid that if she did she wouldn't wake up. She had to stay alive, at least until Aaron returned home, but right now it seemed to be a battle for her life, if she fell asleep, she didn't know if that battle would end. So she forced her eyes to remain open, focused on the pain in her body to keep her lucid, anything she could do to not fall asleep.

"They can do many things, so do go out to harm, but not all do. However there is no point in arguing this. Shall we walk?" He offered, but not before shaking the girls hand. However her next question caught him slightly off guard. He looked down at his bare chest. "Oh... um not all the time, sometimes I just forget to put it on. I didn't realize I wasn't wearing one today. Sorry about that." Aaron said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. Well that was quite the situation to be caught in. People at the academy had stopped noticing or pointing out when he wasn't wearing a shirt, so to be called out on that... well that was a little embarrassing. Aaron began to rummage through his bag to try to find a shirt to put on but came up empty handed. "I guess I lost all my shirts, I hope you don't mind." He told her with a slight chuckle. The situation was just getting more and more awkward the more he talked. "Anyways to the academy!" He said turning around and marching the way he had just come from.

Making her way further into the cave, Yana came to a stop when she saw two people. One she recognized as Teliana, another person in the mage community, and the other was some random dude. He looked really cold and tired, and altogether boring. And was that a frozen stick he was holding? Oh well, business was business. "MINION! I FOUND SOMETHING TO BURN! COME WATCH!" she said, bellowing behind her regardless of how close or far Annabelle happened to be. She then turned and cackled a little. "How ya doin' witchey bitch? It's been aaaages since we saw each other. How's the pile of ash that used to be your house? And who is Frosty?" the young witch asked, a giggle on the tip of her tongue as she engaged in casual conversation. As she spoke, however, she held out a hand and caused a fireball to materialize in it, before slowly turning darker and darker until it was a pure black colour.

"I trust my medallion over your lies. I don't know how you're doing that with the dagger, but this medallion is one of my greatest tools. It vibrates only in the presence of monsters, vibrating faster the closer I am to said monster. It's been going crazy since I stepped near you, so you can drop the act. Nobody's buying it" Callum said. He pulled back the silver sword and thrust it forward, attempting to impale Zack on the end of the blade. However, just before the sword could connect it was knocked out of the way by one of the drunkards that happened to be in the room.

"He ain't a doppla. Look at 'im, he's holdin' a silver dagger. Doppler's can't do that can they? Yer medallion's broke"

Callum sighed. People sucked. "For the love of god, just let me do my damn job" he retorted. The man stood still in front of Zack, unflinching and not showing any signs of backing down at all. "I don't get paid nearly enough for this" Callum stated, unsheathing the steel sword and swiftly decapitating the man before him. The body fell to the floor with a thump, followed by several alarmed cries.

    "He killed him!"
"Witcher or not, he's a murderer!"
    "Maybe he's the monster!"
"Oh my god you're right, lets bring him in to a real witcher and get paid!"
"Puck yeah, great idea eh? Sorry I didn't bring it up sooner, I had to get through my maple syrup covered waffles"

The Canadian got no further before he was silenced before anyone knew what he was going on aboot by the sword running him through too. More angry cries followed, before just about every person in the bar, including a now pissed off bartender, began moving towards Callum, tension rising and bloodlust becoming evident in their actions and movements. Another sigh from Callum emerged. "Well, maybe this lot will be able to finally kill me" he said quietly. Then again, most of them were drunk and he was a Witcher, so maybe they wouldn't.

Annabelle had followed as close behind Yana as she dared, trying to keep herself from coughing too much. She hated being sick all the time but she also knew that there was nothing that she could do about it, she simply had to suck it up and follow as Yana supposedly got ingredients for a cure, one that she doubted would work. The young girl didn't look up from the bunny that she was gripping tight until Yana turned around and yelled pretty much in her face about finding someone to burn and that she should watch. "Yes, your greatness." Annabelle replied quietly as she looked up at the two people before them, then back to her bunny and blistered and bleeding arms. She tried to adjust the bunny a bit to cover them, but realized they would just see all the blood on the bunny instead. And on top of that she was still covered in other bandages, including ones on her face and neck and some on her sides that were now exposed due to Yana stripping her of her clothing. Annabelle looked away from them, embarrassed of her current state. She wished that no one had to see her in the state she was in, it was after all a miserable state. So Annabelle stayed back, trying to keep herself partly hidden behind Yana, and away from the fight that she was sure was about to happen.

Seth changed skins soon after leaving the area of which Tatiana's house was in. He knew that wouldn't do much to slow a witcher, but it would help a little. He didn't know how much time he had before the woman followed, so he had to find a place to lay low, and quickly. His natural instinct told him to leave the city right away, but as he thought about it, he decided it would be better to stay. The withcher would probably expect him to skip town after all the horrible things he did to the young lady, making her watch. So if he hid within town. Right in plain sight, then he would be more not noticed, in theory. She might just walk right out of town and never notice him. With these thoughts in mind, Seth decided to go a few more blocks away, in the opposite direction of the towns main exit, and duck into a tavern, joining the horde of people drinking, and singing and just having a good time.

At times people bugged him, but right now he was in a great mood. It wasn't often he got to break a witcher like that. He liked to watch the girls face as she tried to scream in agony with every cut. Her scared eyes when he forced himself on her. And the the face of defeat when he he only touched her, but there was nothing she could do about it. However what was even better than that, was the face of the witcher as he did all that. The rage, the wanting to kill him but knowing it would put the girls life in danger. Oh that was the best part of it by far. Now he could celebrate it all with a drink, and so he did. Chances were that the witcher wouldn't leave the girls side for a long time. He had left the young woman in a state that she could easily bleed out, even if the witcher tried to help, but it wasn't for sure yet. So the results would be interesting to find out after it was all over.

As Kruez continued[IMG] to progress through the forest, he eventually came across a clearing with a lone tree in the center of it. At the base of the flower were a bunch of various shapes and sizes. Kruez walked up to the tree and then crouched down. There was only one thing out of all this that he actually needed and that was the sole thing he was looking for. Thus his eyes scanned[IMG] around the base of the tree til he found a flower that stuck out to him. The flower had red petals which was exactly what he needed. Part of being a traveling alchemist was making sure that you had things that could easily catch the eye of passerby, which would increase the odds of them handing out some case. Still in his knelt down position Kruez carefully picked up the flower and placed it into a jar that he had on hand with him.

Now that the reason why he'd come to White Orchid in the first place was over, the mage had now started to make his way out of the forest towards the next nearest town. From what he recalled, Novigrad was the the closest place to where he was so that was where he headed.

*Cue timeskip that only affects Kruez cause White Orchid is much farther away from Novigrad than I thought at first*

The casual sound of wood hitting the stone walkway could be heard as Sweallow walked the streets of Oxenford. There wasn't anything particular that he had planned on doing today, well other than going for a walk to get some fresh air. He may have been a doppel, but he was by no means a hostile one. Sweallow much preferred to live his live in both peace an serenity.

Krylen was currently on the trail of a monster that had lead him near a cave, though it would be more accurate to say that he lost sight of the monster and that he'd ended up in front of this cave. He didn't know whether or not the monster that he had been hunting had gone into the cave or not (though he was hoping that it did so that he wouldn't have lost it), but regardless of that, his pendant was faintly glowing near the mouth of he cave. Something that it only did when there were monsters nearby. So this cave was still worth checking out. That in mind, he turned to face the mouth of the cave and ventured into it.

"You're brother is the Witcher Aaron?" He was a good lad, as she remembered. Enthusiastic, always talking about his family. He stuck out in her memory because more often then not they plucked the children they trained from orphanages and roadsides. He had been lucky and not, have come from a home. "Damn." She swore to herself. It was near impossible to contact a witcher on the road, and if she wasn't mistaken, he would have left Kaer Morhn days ago. Still, it didn't hurt to try. But to do so, she would have to leave the girl and step outside. It was doubtful the doppler would come back to kill her, he seemed to prefer his victims remember the misdeeds against them, and suffer. She sighed, reaching into her satchel. Out came a needle and thread, along with clean water, and a bottle that held a light red liquid. Swallow. The healing potion of witchers. If the girl's bleeding didn't stop, she might be forced to use it.

For now, she pulled off the makeshift bandages and began to sew one of the gashes shut, knitting the skin together with the thread. It wasn't her best handiwork by far; she had forgotten how different it was working on other people rather then herself. She needed a mage, and she needed one now. They would be able to send a message and heal the girl, a double blessing. She had no coin to offer, but a favor from a witcher, that was a hefty thing that was rarely turned down.

"Young one, if you're to survive I may need to step out and find a mage. If you do not wish this of me, you may still bleed out from these wounds. The only other option I have is to give you this potion." She indicated Swallow, sitting on the bedside table. "The choice is yours." She finished, hoping the girl could hear her.

"Yana. It's been too short a time." Especially since she had never hoped to see the other woman again. It wasn't just that they both mastered fire. Yana was cruel and vicious, never stopping to think of the casualties caused by her experiments. "I had hoped to leave this cave in good health, but I don't suppose you would let that happen, would you?" She said as an afterthought as the black fire, a signature Yana move, began to gather. She had often wondered if Yana colored the fire on purpose, expending energy to make it more memorable, or if it was simply black because it matched her soul. Her own fire was red with blazes of orange, and she pressed her palms together, feeling the heat grow between the flat surfaces of her skin before pushing her hands apart, the fire ball growing in between them.

It was then she spotted the girl. Bandaged, bloody, and nearly broken. "Gods, Yana, what have you done?" And now she felt rage. What Yana had done to her colleagues was a different matter, but a child....."William, this is your last chance. You don't seem to care for fire, and this entire cave is going to explode into it within a matter of seconds. I would leave while you can." If he moved quick enough, he could get around Yana and dart for the exit.

"Child, come here!" She called out as the fireball grew larger, the flames crackling and spitting as it fought her control, wanting to be free. "I can protect you!" Because Yana certainly wouldn't. "Or at least get out of the way!" When the ball was larger then her head she launched it, whispering the words. When the ball got closer to Yana, it would explode, covering everything in its vicinity with flames and heat.

Zack watched as the drunken townspeople came to his rescue. Of all the ironies, his dagger trick worked on them, if not the witcher. As they flew to his defense, he did the only sensible thing; he turned and ran. Out the door, down the road, and towards the river. He had to get rid of his trail. Witchers couldn't track in water, could they? His senses still tingling from the drinks he had so happily downed prior, he sloshed and stumbled his way through the cold water. It wasn't long before his words up to his knees were numb, and walking was near impossible. He managed to make it to the other bank and fell to his knees, gasping for air. A hand on his shoulder made him raise his eyes, half fearing the witcher would somehow materialize in front of him.

Bryce looked down at his soaking wet comrade. The stolen witcher necklace around his neck, told him without a doubt that this was a doppler. "Come, friend." He said gently, helping the blonde man to rise. "The one who seeks you will be delayed. We must head into the city, and go underground. I have created a haven for those of our people who are worthy. We will be safe there." Bryce took the man by the elbow and guided him away, with a careful glance over his shoulder. They would be long gone by the time the witcher was able to leave. He hoped it wouldn't come to a fight; from observing Zack's encounter with the cat eyed adversary, it was clear the man couldn't be swayed to their side. No matter. He had killed a witcher before, and he would find a way to do so again, if it meant keeping his people safe. For now, all that mattered was that one more sheep had been added to his flock, and he needed to get it far from the wolves before entertaining any other thought.

When Aaron said 'hey can do many things, so do go out to harm, but not all do.' She let out a sigh. She did not think she would ever get though to Aaron. So she should probably stop trying. She had met lots of withers but none of them went though what she did. "We can walk I guess, back to Kaer Morhen." What else was there to do? She was back-tracking but oh well. She let out a laugh at Aaron's little scene. He was not wearing a shirt and started looking for one in his bag. He came out of his bag without one. He is asked if it bothered her. "Not really." He was kind of cute in a way. "At least you are not naked." She said with a smile and laugh. She wondered if that happened to him at all. He did not noticed he was shirtless so what to say he would not noticed being naked? While walking back to the academy. "So what brings you out here away from Kaer Morhen? Tell me about yourself Aaron." She seemed to relax a little. The conversation keep going odder and odder as they walked.

He stood with his staff in hand ready of whatever came around the corner. A women came around the corner. She quickly making a blackish fire ball in her hand. He let out a sigh who was teaching these wizards now? He was gone for far to long. Then a question came to his head. Were the mages at war? At far as knew they were always trying to remain neutral in any conflict. While the would help the injured they normally did not fight unless they had to. Then he noticed the small young girl. She seemed to be blistered and had bleeding arms. He was sure the women did this. He could heal the child, but now not with the women there. Teliana seemed to know this women. Yana was her name. "I am not going anywhere. That child needs help." Then Teliana did something that was unexpected. She threw a fire ball as large as her head at Yana. What was she doing? What was going on? This was not the way of the mage. He would have to report this soon. Fighting was never the answer, just look at what it did to the child. There was not really anything he could do anyways the fight started.

"Why would she want to be protected by you? I'm training her, we're making her strong, she will be the bestest mage ever. Aaaand if you try to hurt her, you're going to burn, but I think I'll do that anyway, so have fun" the girl said, watching the fireball as it flew to her. She stepped forward and held out her arms as though she was going to give it a big hug. It looked that way because that's exactly what she did, embracing its warmth and power as the spell hit her. She giggled slightly, the spell having no more effect than if someone had simply punched her. Having near-immunity to fire came in handy sometimes and enabled her to do completely stupid things like this.

Once it was done, Yana held her hands before her. The little orb in her gauntlet began floating around in a circle, having a chance to deflect physical projectiles as she began casting an incantation. After about five seconds, she had a huge, black fireball floating in front of her. "Froooosty the snowmaaaan, gonna be a puddle" the witch said in a sing-song tone of voice, as the fireball flew up into the sky and exploded, sending quite a lot of smaller fireballs shooting around the area within the cave. Yana turned around and stood hunched over Annabelle, knowing the sickness would only get worse but protecting her completely from the fire attack with her own body, like a goddamn boss.

Five minutes passed and a very irritated-looking Callum Crux walked out of the tavern, leaving a slew of bodies in his wake as he walked out and sheathed both blades, both covered in blood. He was a gruesome sight, with quite a few cuts over his body and absolutely drenched in the blood of his enemies, but he was still alive. Unfortunately. "Damn, still kicking. Ah well, maybe if I find the doppler he'll be able to do the job...if he doesn't run away like a scared little dog with its tail between its legs again, anyway" he stated.

Tracking the scent of the alcohol-infused doppler, Callum found his way to a river and took a step into it. The water was remarkably cold, as though attempting to enter it would be difficult to accomplish without getting sick. Kind of like Callum's heart, really. However, he did enter it, and as he stood there waist-deep in the water, he could see the doppler hunched over as though he were exhausted. "Are you going to accept your fate? It's nothing personal, I hate everyone, this just happens to be my job. So how about making this easy on me?" he questioned, calling out across the river.

Annabelle didn't know what to do. On one hand a nice seeming lady was calling out for her to go to her. However on the other hand that would probably bring on Yana's wrath, Yana wouldn't let her go so easily. Going to the lady might just bring misery to her as well. So Annabelle ended up staying put, she just wanted to see how the fight would turn out. If this other lady won, and defeated Yana perhaps she could walk away just fine, but that was only a hope. Annabelle had seen small bits of Yana's powers, and knew that she wasn't going to go down all that easily. There was little hope to be had for her leaving.

As the battle began, Yana simply took a fireball before countering with her own fireballs raining down. Annabelle held on her bunny tightly, frightened of the fire raining down. However none hit her, instead her sickness grew so greatly that she couldn't stay standing. Annabelle fell to her knees coughing and hacking, shaking, and throwing up as she curled herself into a ball on the ground, her eyes watering. She didn't know if she was thankful for Yana protecting her from the fire, or if she didn't like it. Annabelle put a lot of her strength into manipulating the sand and dirt on the ground to create a barrier around her, hoping it could protect her from the falling fire and get Yana to back off slightly, enough for her to try to feel better.

It was almost pleasant to hear someone else say Aarons name... She even called him a witcher, despite the fact that he had just graduated not days before. "Yeah, he's my younger brother... It took some convincing from me to get him in... but he made it." Tatiana said weakly, as a small smile crossed her face. She had been able to convince the school to let him in so he could become a Witcher, the only thing he ever dreamed of doing. It was not long after she finished talking that Veera started on the stitches. Tatiana wanted to be strong and not react to the stitches, but goodness they hurt like all hell to get. Tatiana let out grunts and small screams of pain from between clenched teeth. Why? Why did this have to happen to her. The smile that had crossed her face not long ago had now turned back to just tears. Tatiana gripped the bed sheets tight with each stitch right until the end, seeming out of breath and hardly away by the end. The pain was pushing her to the brink of unconsciousness.

"Please.... Don't leave me..." Tatiana begged as she reached over, barely able to to grab Yana's hand. Fear was in her eyes, fear of being left alone, fear of dying. "Please miss." Tatiana begged, realizing that she didn't even know the woman's name. Tatiana's eyes drifted over to the potion. She had read in some of Aaron's letters what the potion was. He liked to tell her a lot about what he was learning and about that was one of them. She was terrified at what might happen if she took it, but if she died at least she wouldn't be alone. The woman would be beside her the entire time, she could feel it. "If I don't make it through tell Aaron... Tell him that I am sorry.... Tell him Tiana apologizes." Tatiana was finding it more and more difficult to talk, but she was forcing herself to do it. Tatiana gave Veera a final nod, telling her to give her the potion, tears forming in her eyes as she feared what the next few hours would hold for her, whether she would die or not.

"What brings me out here? I was on my way home, in a roundabout way. I just finished my training at the academy for Witchers, so I was going to head home, make sure my sister was okay, but I wanted to get a few jobs on my way home. You see she is in a bit of debt to her work. She owes them a lot of money but hasn't been able to start paying them off because she has had to support both of us. If I can just get a little money and then get home it will be home. However she isn't really expecting me home any time soon, she wants me to travel and see the world. I just can't leave her in the state she is in now, not working where she is working." Aaron explained about himself. Given all the information that he had just given this lady, he thought it fare to ask her to return the favour. "So why did you turn back from heading to Kaer Morhem? What is your story there and what are you planning to do?" He asked her in return, brushing strands of his long white hair from his face.

Veera sighed, then grabbed the potion from the wooden table. "I'll tell him, but gods willing you're strong enough to make it through. May they watch over you." May they watch over us all. She helped the girl sit up and pressed the bottle to her lips, waiting until the red liquid was completely gone before setting it back down. She would have plenty of time to remake it later. "I apologize, but I must do this for your own protection." She went into the bloodstained room, wrinkling her nose at the smell of body fluid as she grabbed one of the few remaining clean sheets. Tearing it in half with ease, she recreated a gentler version of the bonds that had held Tatiana, and used them to tie her wrists and ankles to the bed posts.

"This is not going to be pleasant." She added, working quickly but trying to leave the girl enough slack that she wouldn't feel trapped. It was much too soon to put her through such an ordeal, but there was no choice. "You're going to experience a seizure, probably within the next five minutes. After that, I cannot say. But I won't leave you." Finished with tying the girl up so that the seizure wouldn't completely destroy her body, Veera pulled up a chair, clasping her hands as she rested her elbows on her knees. "You may call me Veera. The bonds will keep you from hurting yourself while I make sure you don't bite your tongue in half."

And now, there was nothing left but to sit back and wait.

Teriana had barely enough time to throw up a shield to protect herself and William. The flames illuminated her hair and face as she watched it repel the black fire back up towards the ceiling before causing it to vanish. Looking over, she noticed that Yana was protecting the child from the flames, despite the obvious illness it was causing the girl. Could it be that Yana had an emotional stake in the child? Teriana highly doubted such a possibility, but it wasn't the strangest thing she had seen. She let the shield disintegrate in her hands and straightened, brushing ash off her dress.
"As ready for battle as ever." She said in a flat voice, eyeing both Yana and the girl. It appeared the child had powers of her own. And Yana had mentioned training her. An apprentice? One Yana was enough for this world.

"You should let that child go to a good home. Someone who will give her actual clothes instead of risking her being mistaken for a whore's dress up doll." Teriana wanted nothing more then to leave this place and get back to the man who was waiting for her. Well, for her flowers. But her conscience told her she couldn't leave without at least trying to save the girl from a life time of misery. Or an early death.

Zack turned back, his hair sopping wet and giving him an overall pathetic appearance as he let his arms hang at his sides. He was frightened, more then a little frightened by the sight of Callum covered in blood. How many people had this witcher killed, just because he wanted to live? How many people had just died for him to remain free a little longer? "Why do you do it?" He asked dully, staring down at the water that swirled around his torso. "Why do you have to kill us? We didn't do anything wrong. We just want to live, too."

Bryce waited until the witcher had focused his attention entirely on Zack. On the obvious target. He stepped from the shadows of the bridge that had conveniently come into the storyline at this point. "The boy has a point." He said as he pointed his iron blade towards Callum's neck, shield strapped to his left arm. "Why do you have to hunt us? We haven't wronged anyone, least of all you. If you have a contract, I can offer you more then they'll pay you." He said, arm steady. He was taking a gamble with this, but a witcher's code first and foremost involved gold. If he could appeal to that, then perhaps he and Zack could make it back for supper.

Tatiana accepted the help sitting up, but she hated needing it. That feeling of being helpless, not even being able to do the simplest thing on her own, it drove her nuts. Hopefully this potion would help, hopefully she would be healed and these injuries wouldn't kill her, nor would the potion. It was all a came of luck and chance, whether she lived or died was in the gods hands now, she just prayed that they showed favour to her, though she somehow doubted that. Throughout her life it was just a series of but fortune, mistakes, and pain, so why would it change now? Perhaps the mage would have been a better option, but then she would be alone. Tatiana was so sick of always feeling alone. It seemed everyday she shared a bed with a man, but that was her job and it still felt very lonely. No one cared for her, no one except Aaron, but he was a Witcher now, off on all sorts of adventures she couldn't offer him as just his older sister. She didn't expect him home for a while. She didn't want him to come home for a while, she wanted him to live his life even if that meant more of a burden on her. The fact that this woman, this witcher put herself through the torment of watching everything that happened to her, and stayed though she couldn't help. The fact that she was at her side trying to save her life meant more to Tatiana than she would ever know.

Drinking the potion as fast as her broken body would let her, Tatiana laid back down while Veera left the room for a moment, only to come back with strips of cloth. Tatiana couldn't resist even if she wanted to as the woman tied her down, but she believed her when she said it was for her own good. As the restraints were fastened, a shard of panic started through Tatiana's veins but she did her best to keep it at bay as her entire body tensed. She knew it was going to be okay, that Veera wasn't going to do anything to her, but still after what had happened not long before, she couldn't help but panic slightly as tears trickled down her cheek. She tried not to think of what had just happened, tried to put the picture of the mans amused face out of her head, but it didn't work.
"Veera.... I am scared..." She finally admitted, right after the girl gave her her name. It was not long after that that the seizure set in.

At one moment Tatiana was focusing on her breathing, in the next everything went blank. She couldn't feel it when her body began to violently shake, pulling against the restraints as it did. As her body jerked thrashed and shook from how bad the seizure was getting, Tatiana's mind was slipping away to a far off place. She felt like she was falling, falling into a dream of some sort. A world spun around her, a bright world full of candles and stories and laughter. When Tatiana stopped falling she was back in the house, but it wasn't the same one that her body was in. This one was brighter, happier, not broken. This was how she remembered the house when she was a child.

Tatiana stopped shaking, and her eyes opened, but they were glazed over and had a blank look. She was alive, she was awake, but she wasn't totally there, not yet. Her mind was lost somewhere, trying to find it's way back to reality.

It felt like she was watching a movie. Tatiana could see a young version of herself running around the house singing while her mother told stories to a young baby, Aaron. Tatiana wanted to reach out and hug her mother, but she wasn't really there. Her mother wasn't there, it was all an illusion, all her mind playing trick on her, dragging her through the most painful of days. Almost testing her will to live. "Oh mom..." Tatiana said, her voice reaching past her hallucination as she spoke out loud for Veera to hear as well.

Tatiana listened to her mothers story, her sweet voice soothing Aaron to sleep. When her brother had finally fallen asleep the scene changed slightly. Aaron was in bed, and she was supposed to be, but instead of sleeping she was peaking out her door as she listened to her mother cough, her voice growing weaker and her strength failing. She was dying from an illness that she had kept hidden from them for so long. That night she was going to pass away. Tatiana remembered sitting there peaking through her bedroom door and her mothers eyes slid shut, her coughing silenced and she could see the tears on her fathers face before he buried his head into his wife's limp body. However this was not the scene that played out before Tatiana. She did not watch her mother die from illness or her fathers grief, no. What she saw was far worse than that. The scene that played out, as young Tatiana watched through the crack in the doorway involved the man her hurt her. Seth stood over her mother as he pulled off her dress, doing similar things to her mother as he had done to her, but he spent a lot less time with her mother, stabbing her through the heart after. "No! Mom! Stop please!" Tatiana tried to yell out, but Seth couldn't hear her. The only person who her weak voice could reach would be Veera. "That is not what happened to her. It's not. I remember." She said quietly as she felt herself fall again, this time arriving in an area she did not recognize.

Looking around she was in a desert. Tatiana began to walk, to search for something, anything. It felt like the desert was going on forever. She kept walking, soon losing sight of the fact it was all a trick of her mind. Tatiana kept walking until she couldn't keep focused on anything. She couldn't do anything but walk until she was too tired to do so any longer. When the point came that she collapsed, she found Aaron's bloody body in front of her, dead. "Aaron. No Aaron. Breath. Please! No!" Tatiana begged and cried. He was the only family she had left, he couldn't die. She was ready to close her eyes and let the heat and dehydration take her right there. In the vast desert where surviving seemed hopeless and her only family lay dead in front of her. However something in the back of her mind told her to just get up and go a little further. Something said that if Aaron was dead then she had to live for him. Live out his life. Tatiana was about to close her eyes, they were drooping and once they did, well it was all over both in her mind and with her body. However she held onto that thought, live on for Aaron, live the life he didn't get too. So she pushed herself onto her feet and stumbled forward a few steps, pain suddenly wracking her body.

The glazed look on Tatiana's face faded. Her cheeks felt sticky from all the tears she cried due to the things she had seen. She was back in Aarons bedroom it seemed, though everything looked off. Her body ached greatly as she tried to move, but that was hopeless it seemed. She could remember clearly what happened with Seth, however after that was all kind of fuzzy and she remembered nothing of what she had just saw. She turned her head to Veera and stared at her blankly and seemed confused. Nothing made sense to her at that time. She knew that she knew the woman sitting next to her, but she couldn't remember her name or how she knew her. When Tatiana attempted to talk her tongue felt like lead, dry and heavy in her mouth, preventing her from getting a word out. Her body felt cold, yet she was shivering. It seemed as though a fever had just broken out, and Tatiana laid there lacking the strength to move or even say anything to Veera. The moment she tried to rest her eyes for a minute, images of Seth violating her and cutting her flashed through her head and she quickly opened her eyes once more, breathing more heavily than before. She began shaking more, not just from the fever that she seemed to be running, but now also from fear. Tatiana quickly began to lose hope in her survival.

Finishing his second celebratory drink Seth began to feel a little bored. He was in trouble, but perhaps he should track down some of the other dopplers he knew of. He wouldn't exactly call them friends because, well he didn't know what they thought of him, they probably didn't think well of him considering he had stolen from them before. However he also tried to get them out of some scrapes that they were in. Do considering all that, he didn't really know what to call their relationship. Either way it would be good to hang around someone who didn't want to murder him when they found out what he was, so off he went.

Seth casually strolled through Novigrad, trying not to look over his shoulder too much as he made his way towards the edge of town and out. The most likely place to find people he knew would probably be Oxenfurt, given that was the most central place to everything. It would be in that direction he would head, but not before stopping in another pub for a drink on the road and to lift more than one pouch of money for the road. If the other dopplers were mad at him, perhaps a little money would go a long way in convincing them. With the money in hand and confidence that he wasn't being followed yet, Seth made his way out of Novigrad towards Oxenfurt.

He was near oxenfurt, wondering around. The wolfs heard at some point seemed to stop. The town of oxenfurt seemed big enough but he didn't know what to do.

He was in a field between Oxenfurt and Novigrad, trees everywere, he hopped he didn't he lost. The clouds of rain still avove. It still looked like it could rain but it didn't, which was strange. He was becoming more nervous, he didn't like being pushed away.
