Osidia is a world out of legend. Long proclaimed as the world of glory, it has spawned heroes for ages, heroes that have done mighty things in the name of light and justice. Beyond that, its cerulean skies and peaceful lands were home to many creatures. Osidia was nature incarnate.

Then darkness entered the worlds, and everything changed. Osidia became lost to the ensuing chaos, and through the ages, became lost from memory as well.

However, not all memory of it was lost. Deep within the massive world of Libary, a planet dominated by scholars and researchers devoted to understanding and, in some cases, living every aspect of knowledge, Osidia’s secrets remain hidden...

Until one fateful day, a young scholar and the newest member of the Ruling Council, known as the Prophets of Truth, uncovered its mysteries. Now, Libary will stop at nothing to uncover its secrets.

On the remote world of Genesis, word reaches the ears of the populace that a reward has been offered for anyone who can find the world of legend. You are one of these courageous seekers of Osidia. You will travel from world to world, seeking the lost truths of this forgotten world, and in the course of events, change destiny itself...

This is the Quest for the Obsidian Skies.

The World of Genesis
Genesis is nearly as lost and forgotten as Osidia, though in perhaps not the same way. Genesis is a small moon, hovering around a large gaseous planet which in turns revolves around a small star. Two continents, completely separated from each other, stripe the planet vertically. The first continent was named Herta, which in the native tongue, means Star, or Jewel. Pilgrims from Herta traveled across the ocean of Exodus, named so for this precise journey, to populate the second continent, known as Gherta, or Second Jewel.

The second continent quickly eclipsed the first in population and technological advancement. Two large cities erupted from this barren world: Heth, or Prize, and Tkir, or Core. These two cities hire civilians every year to be sent into the jungle for odd jobs. The competition between these two cities is almost outrageous, and one could almost play the two off each other, hiring to one, then the other, and every year gain more money.

Other Features
Genesis was once rumored to be the world where the five apocalyptic mages lived...

Job Explanation
Jobs are a basis of Obsidian Sky, and will be mainly what you are doing. In the beginning, on the world of Genesis, you are a mercenary, applying for various jobs. This means that you can choose to fight enemies, create weapons and armor, synthesize items, write articles, etc. Later in the game, skill will be needed to do jobs.

Skill is automatically gained when finishing a job, except for fighting, which is the exception. If you write in a newspaper for an easy article, you will gain skill points. These skill points will enable you to do other, harder and more fun jobs.

Fighting is the exception in that you level up through EXP (Experience), not SP (Skill Points). Experience is given by enemies and changes from enemy to enemy. Your stats in battle will change due to these raises in level.

Teams
Jobs aren’t just for one person, though there are a few exceptions. It’s easiest to form a group of allies who can support you in your job. These will be other Rpers or certain allies you can hire for money (though these allies only stay for one job.)

Applying for a Job
To apply for a job, simply post your group’s names and what job you’d like to apply for. You will be given the job automatically if you have enough skill.

Gaining Money
After completing the requirements in a job, you will get paid. Money comes in the form of quantity, for example: How many enemies you killed, or how many items you sold and what kinds for both.

Hiring an Ally
Allies can be hired the same way as applying for a job, but they require money. Further, if an ally has already been hired, he can’t be hired by someone else at the same time. First come, first serve. The ally will receive 10% of your payment, as well as a bonus to begin with. Some allies are better than others at different things.

Leveling Up Explained
After fighting in a battle, you will gain EXP. Once you’ve received a level, you can decide which of these six statistics to raise:

Strength – How powerful you are
Defense – How well you can defend against attacks
Magic – How powerful your magic is
Magic Defense – How well you can defend against magic
Hit% - How accurate your attacks are
Evade% - How able you are to dodge attacks

NOTE: In battle, an enemy also has these six and your stats will play off of theirs.

You receive six points every level. It is up to you where the points can go. HP and MP will raise, depending on your Defense and Magic Defense.

The Trainer
The Trainer is an old man who can still whoop your butt, just fine, thank you. There is a Trainer on every world. The Trainer’s job is to help you train a certain skill. Trainers can change skills from world to world, as well as price tags.

To train for a skill, apply for the Trainer on the Application Thread, along with what skill you want to train for. The Trainer must be hired, like an ally, to train you, so you will have to pay some money. The Trainer will run you through a training exercise much like a job. Example: He may ask you to attack him, and boost your strength or magic from that.

Buying Items
As this RP does have fighting in it, you will most likely lose HP. To regain HP, you can reach a cure point (which are rare), rest in the inn or through an item, or use magic or a recovery item. These items can be bought in towns.

Attack items can also be bought. Attack items will usually produce a magic effect. Example: A small fire pillar.

Weapons can be bought as well, as well as armor and accessories. Base weapons are required to be able to buy higher weaponry (This applies to armor and accessories as well.) You can synthesize new weapons from your old weapons through the shops as well. So, basically, your base weapon will simply upgrade, though you can buy other models as well.

Buying a Ship
Once you have enough money, you can buy a ship to fly to the next world. Not all ships are the same. Gummi ships have different skill levels, just like allies and the characters in the RP.

Upgrades to gummi ships are available at different worlds. In the beginning, only a few gummi ships are available at Genesis, and to be honest, they rather suck. Continuing with the same gummi ship may not be the wisest choice in the long run; in fact, it may be suicidal.

Gummi ship stats are: Attack, Defense, Speed, and Shielding. Attack is, of course, how powerful you are, and defense how well you can block an enemy attack. Speed reduces the number of enemies that attack you, and shielding shields you from damage until its power runs out (it has its own HP.)

Choosing a Destination and Flying There
Once you buy a ship, you can choose a destination. Not every world is open to you; ships at the other end of the universe can definitely not be accessed from Genesis.

Depending on the destination, the price range varies, as well as time. From Genesis, only one world is available, but later on, more worlds will be available.

While in Flight
Interspace travel ain’t no picnic. Heartless and Nobody ships will assault you during your journey. Gummi ships come with weapons and a innate shielding system, but just like the other specifics, they vary from ship to ship.

Fighting
Fighting in this RP will be a bit different. You will have a certain amount of HP, as will the enemy. When in a battle, you will face off. You will be able to perform different actions, such as use an item, attack, or defend. Defending will heal your HP by 10% and, depending on your Evade, take a calculated percentage of an opponent’s attack. The enemy can do the same thing. Generally, a character’s party will go, then the enemy’s.

Your strength will play off against your enemy’s defense, and their strength against your defense when attacking. With magic, it is the same thing. Further, if a character has a high evade%, they can evade all of your attacks. If they have too high of a defense, they don’t have to take damage.

Hit% and Evade% apply as well, in much the same way.

Gummi Battles
Gummi Ship battles work in much the same way, though much more open. Your gummi ship cannot heal during flight, and does not level up, however. Normally, this might be a problem, but the Heartless and Nobody ships take off very little and have very low HP, defense, etc.

Magic
Magic isn’t pre-determined in this RP. You start off with no learned magic whatsoever, and by doing certain quests, which cost money, you may learn magic. These jobs do not pay you except in the form of magic, and only certain spells can be learned on certain worlds. To learn higher magic, you must have learned the basic magic.

Starting Statistics
You may choose the six starting statistics yourself, so long as all the aspects together equal 60. I.e. On average, Strength = 10, Defense = 10, Magic = 10, Magic Defense = 10, Hit = 10, Evade = 10. Defense, as well as determining how much you will be able to defend against attacks, determines HP. I.e. Defense = 10 would give you an HP of 100, or a Defense = 8 would give you an HP of 80. Magic defense will determine how much MP you have. I.e. Magic Def = 10, MP = 10.

Strength will determine how much you take off during attacks. On average, if strength = 10, you will take off about 50% of your strength from attack. Magic is the same.

Hit and Evade, when in battle, are very useful. Your hit calculates how much damage you will deal against a defending enemy. Say, for example, you have 10 hit. This means you’ll take off 10% of your normal attack power against a defending opponent. Therefore, the higher the hit, the higher the damage against a defending enemy. This is random, and the middle ones are more common, therefore the higher the Hit, the more powerful your attack. Evade calculates how much damage will be defended against on a choice of defense. Note: Defense doesn’t match up to an opponent’s HP, and neither does its MP match up to its Magic Defense.

Leveling Up
In this RP, you can infinitely level up through gaining EXP. EXP is gained by defeating enemies. After you reach a certain level of EXP, you gain a level. You will gain 6 points every time you level up. You can add these points into your statistics. Statistics can also be gained by training with the trainer, one point at a time.

Final: I reserve the right to not allow a person on this RP. This shouldn’t happen at all, but if I do notify you that I don’t think you can make it in this RP, I ask you to please delete your post and leave without a fuss. Remember, I won’t make this decision lightly, and if I do ask you to leave, I’ve thought about it a great deal.

Weapon: A simple sword barely battleworthy
Background and Appearance: Darryl von Kerrta-Tera Roth, or simply Tera Roth, is a well-liked, but hardly special, young man of average build and height, if a little more in shape than others. He tops off at about 5'10", and has dirt brown hair that looks like mud when wet. He has electric blue eyes that study the world around with acute intensity. Tera Roth is a citizen of Tkir, or Core, born and raised in an outlying district. His dream was to join the military before he heard of the legend of Osidia. His choice was to follow the legend was helped due to his inability to go to college due to funding. However, his passion for knowledge caused him to spend nearly two years in a university library, becoming knowledgeable on every subject under the sun. His brilliance shines forth in a crowd, and he's always willing to utilize his skills to help others. His happy, and optimistic, attitude and peaceful smile sometimes take people off guard, and is rather infectious.
Introduction Post: Tera Roth finished lacing his boots and shrugged the simple sword to a better position on his back. Brushing his soft hair out of his eyes, he turned and stepped out of his room. Smiling, he walked up to his parents and nodded to his father.

"I'm ready," he said, and his father smiled at him. An old war hero, his father had the same features as Tera Roth, if a bit more rugged and battle-worn, including Tera's striking electric eyes, whose light only seemed to intensify in the sun-darkened face of the old man.

"Good luck, Darryl," his father said, using Tera's first name as he always did on important occasions. "Make the name of Karrta-Tera proud."

Tera smiled, and embraced his father, then turned to his aging, but still lovely, mother. Her soft features were more in tune with Tera's, and her green eyes held worry, love...She enfolded him in her arms and whispered in his ear, "Good luck. Make the name of Roth proud."

Darryl von Karrta-Tera Roth stood straight, bowed to his parents, turned and walked out the door. It was time to begin a new life. It was time to find Osidia.

Background: He had no family and was trained by a trainer that took interest of him and then he took on jobs that gave him enough money to get out of the city. He was trined to evade and attack.

Age: 20(ish.. it varies.)

Weapon: Fists/Energy Techniques

Background / History / Personality / Appearance: Kids love to run around in the sunshine, laughing happily, and playing games and sports. Xegreny Meion was not one of those kids. At a young age, he discovered an unusual talent. According to the doctors, "A evolutionary step" could be found at the exact center of his body. The kid could hurl bolts of energy across the room, and scorch the walls. At 6. He could also punch harder than most. It seemed as if he was born to find Osidia, and to explore the universe. But, fate is a cruel mistress. Living on the world of Genesis, Xegreny got no trainging or help to learn how to harness his destructive ablities. No, only experiments and operations. To his local doctor, he was a walking, talking alien. Then again, he might as well be. Alienated by the local children, Xegreny knew very little of the warmth of friendship. Now an adult, he wishes to find away to leave this world, to escape the over-curious doctors, to see what life was like outside of Genesis. To learn what he could do and to unleash his potential.

Appearance wise, Xegreny's pretty average. He wasnt running around exercising and lifting weights like some explorers. He's not that tall either, perhaps 5' 4". Helping him to stand out even more were his blue eyes, and messy red hair. Normally, Xegreny's seen around town in plain work jeans with a loose belt, and a plain white T-Shirt. Very everyday-heroish, what do you expect? Xegreny doesnt have a lot of cash either.
Living in one of Tkir's many districts, he had a house in a neighborhood that, wasnt that terrible.. just dont go outside at night.

Due to the nature of his abilities, Xegreny's pretty good with magic. Although he doesnt know any magical spells, he's got "Inner Magical Apptitude" or whatever, thats what the cheapo - palm reader told him, when he went in there for fun.

As for his personality, Xegreny's just a HUGE BALL OF SUNSHINE. Or perhaps a little cynical. Generally cheery and friendly, he's always willing to lend a hand. Of course, you'd have to give him proof that you wont bonk him on the head and steal his wallet.

Introduction Post: Stifling a yawn, Xegreny walked out of his home and locked the door behind him. Turning around he swore with silent dread as the small land-lord came waddling over.

"You! I need your rent, you can't keep staying here." The small man growled.

"I'll pay you later! Jeez! Your always on my back old man." Xegreny said breezing past him.

"No you dont! You've skipped out on two payments already!" The land-lord screeched lunging at our hero. Sticking out his hand, he placed it on the guy's face, pushing him and his swiping hands (more like claws) away.

After a heated debate with the man, Xegreny found himself homeless on the street. Sighing, he figured that could've gone alot better. Heading into the center of town, he looked for somewhere to get a job... He needed money now, more than ever.

Background / History : Kayla was born in a small hospital on Genisis and has been raised there by her father ever since. Her mother died at birth so she never really knew what she was like. Her father had been having a hard time with his job so profits were low and life was hard. Although they had enough to get them by perfectly fine... they weren't poor... But they had no money for anything extra.

Introduction Post/ Personality/ Apperance: My Character is Kayla Shinku. She is a beautiful young woman, about 5'3". She has long, red hair and bright red eyes. She is a kind young woman and likes to make new friends. She likes to wander at night and adores the moon and it's beauty.

Background / History / Personality / Appearance: Jordana had always lived a normal life, In a normal house, With a normal family, everything was perfect. But ever since she was 11 years old she wanted more, normal was boring for her. A old childhood friend of hers had said "Don't wish something else when everything Is perfect" but It was too late. One day, when she was 16 years old, her father had gone and she found her mother crying near the phone. He was gone, not dead, but he ran out In the middle of the night. Six months later her house had been robbed while she was out, her mother had been killed and her brother covered In blood. Trying to keep her and her little brother alive with the house they had almost been kicked out of twice had proved a big challenge. Throughout all of that chaos she managed to keep a happy positive attitude, although she was always positive and rarely cried. A strong heart, a wise man once said, will get you anywhere, and a strong heart Jordana had. A very trustworthy girl and Is willing to fight for anyone, Until The Death.
Jordana was made out to be a very pretty girl, not one you would expect to be fighting, but don't judge a book by Its cover. She Is about 5'6 and Is quite skinny but has a strong build. Jordana loves to wear shorts and a t-shirt, nothing special, she will try to avoid skirts and dresses, her old friend Is the only one who has seen her In girlie outfits and her statement was 'You look Incredible' from that day, she had never even considered wearing a skirt or dress.

Introduction Post:
"You Idiot" Jordana had a look of frustration on her face as she pulled her little brother by the ear through town "How am I ever going to keep us alive If your going to piss the same shop keeper off, hmm? He's been so good to us, you don't know anything" Jordana's little brother mumbled and winced as she pulled hard at his ear. She sighed and slowed down amid the crowds of people and pulled her little brother Into a small alleyway, It could hardly be called an alleyway, but It was good enough "Zeld, when I go he'll be your only friend around here" Zeld almost looked surprised "Go? Where? What do you mean?!" Jordana looked away, she had to tell him, It was either now or never.
Two days ago she had heard news of Osidia, of course, she thought the legend was long past, but two men were talking along the busy streets.
"..You think anyone will uncover the secrets?" The first man asked "Of what?" The second asked
"Osidia."
The second man laughed "Osidia is a legend, you believe all that bull?"
The first man didn't look amused at all "Of course I do, anyway, I heard young hero's are going forth to uncover the secrets" The second man must like laughing "Good luck to them," as they walked further away Jordana stopped "Good luck to them..." the second man repeated.
As Jordana told the story to her 12 year old brother his eyes grew wider "Your not really going to...I mean...Jorda..?" That was her nickname, her brother always called her by It.
Jordana looked In her little brother's eyes "Its time...We need that reward! We have nothing and we just need something to survive on" The rest of the walk home was In silence.
Finally, as she sat In her room sorting out the bills, she decided to get a job until she had enough money to leave.

Hanami Lanaryu
Age: 14
Weapon: Easy-to-handle Kunai
Background / Personality: Hanami was born into a fabulously wealthy family. In fact, hers is one of the richest families in Genesis. Her parents are always working (or bossing others around), so she barely ever sees them. She also has somewhat of an obsession with candy, and is almost always seen with a lollipop in her mouth, the candy she is particularly fond of. When she’s not with her private teachers, she spends most of her alone time in the personal library of their mansion in Herta, or Star. One day, she stumbled upon an old book about the legend of Obsidia, and decided that she wanted to see this place (and she must have what she wants!). Therefore, triggering her secret plan to join the search.

In appearance, Hanami is 4’9”, not a bad size. Her blood type is AB. She has dark purple hair, light purple, innocent eyes, and a delicate, youthful, yet strong build. Don’t let her looks deceive you though, she has an unyielding will and a strong heart. She has a playful personality , but due to her lack of experience in the “real world,” she is also snobby, naïve, and over confident. Despite this, she has an amazing intuition and is quick to learn new things (when she wants to).

Starting Post: Hanami quietly crept out the back door and into the black void of midnight. She’d been planning this for months; this was the much anticipated moment. She was heading off on an adventure. Her adventure. An adventure so secret that she had told no one except for a select few. And it was beginning now.

Her memory raced back to this morning…

“I honestly can’t believe you’re doing this.” Her older brother, Haruko, mused. He too had a desire to search for Obsidia, but his studies kept him grounded. It was thanks to him that Hanami was even confident enough to go through with this. Even though he was against her ambition, it was he who had arranged lessons for Hanami, to learn martial arts and how to fight with kunai.

“I’m tired of waiting! If I want something exciting to happen, I guess I have to act.” Hanami replied absentmindedly, she was mostly focused on packing a convenient carrying bag with supplies that she would need for her ‘adventure.’ She’d even had her new outfits, designed by only the best designers, made specifically for comfort and fighting. Ever since she’d learned of the fantasy land of Obsidia, she hadn't been the same... Well, maybe not, but she was different.

Haruko glanced at her from the corner of his eye, “I admire your determination, but like I said, I don’t think you can last out there by yourself. You aren't used to not being catered to all the time.”

Hanami ignored his comment, “I won’t be alone! I’ll have Arrow with me.” Arrow. Hanami’s trusty wolf dog/bodyguard. “And besides, I doubt I’m the only one searching. I’ll find someone who has the same intentions as me and go with them. Don’t worry bro, I’ve got it all figured out!”

“Let’s hope so. Oh, I almost forgot,” Haruko reached into his pocket and pulled out a cell phone, tossing it to Hanami, “if you need anything, I’m only a phone call way. Even if I can’t go with you, I’ve got your back.” He smiled and winked at her. Hanami was overcome by her emotions and affectionately embraced him, “Thank you..., for everything, Oniichan.”

The young girl’s thoughts rushed back to the present: she’d just said her tearful (at least for her) goodbye to her brother, and was now leaving the gates of her sanctuary, Arrow loyally by her side. She looked ahead into the night and took a deep breath. As far as her parents knew, not that they cared, she was heading off to camp. But the fun she could have at camp was blown out of the water by the exhilaration she felt now. She grinned and stuck a lollipop in her mouth. This was going to be the journey of her lifetime.*

Venture C. Wilson Jr.
Age: 18

Background / History: The legend of Osidia. Venture wasn't sure if he truly believed in it at first but....the evidence was starting to become overwhelming. Venture, was of a seemingly average build and stood at 6'3". Looking to find out how strong he could become he trained under various teachers, learning various martial arts skills. He participated in various tournaments to test his skills. He didn't win them all and that was why he continued to train harder. As he passed through high school he grew bored. He participated in various fights throughout the town, but he felt as if he was just fighting the same opponents repeatedly. When he had heard reports of the legend of Osidia possibly being real, a smile appeared on his face. What better way to alleviate his boredom then by going on a little 'adventure'.
Personality / Appearance: As stated before, Venture is of a seemingly average build. He is actually bigger than he seems. he often uses that as an advantage in fights. He is often acts gruff and serious. Despite this he likes to kid around as well. He also at times may seem to value money more than friends, though people who know him often suspect this is an act.
Introduction Post: The audience gasped.. They were sure he would lose that last fight. His opponent was several times larger than him. Venture just yawned. Another opponent taken down quickly. He could hardly remember the last time he had actually had a good fight. At least he made quite a bit of money off of the last one.

“Anyone else?” the announcer roared into the microphone. “Does anyone else want to challenge this champion?” the announcer asked again.“ Speak up now!”

A young man walked down from the audience. “I’ll fight him.” he said with a big grin as he cracked his knuckles savagely.

“How much gil are you wagering?” the announcer asked Venture’s opponent.

The opponent was silent as he handed the announcer 1000G. “That should be enough. Right?” the opponent grinned. The announcer then slowly nodded as he signaled the fight to begin. Venture’s opponent made the first move. He first attacked with a swift sweep kick to knock Venture off balance. He then applied quite a painful punch to ventures stomach. Venture rolled over the mat, clutching his stomach in pain. He then got up quickly as his opponent proceeded to try an kick him while he was down.

Background and Appearance: Darryl von Kerrta-Tera Roth, or simply Tera Roth, is a well-liked, but hardly special, young man of average build and height, if a little more in shape than others. He tops off at about 5'10", and has dirt brown hair that looks like mud when wet. He has electric blue eyes that study the world around with acute intensity. Tera Roth is a citizen of Tkir, or Core, born and raised in an outlying district. His dream was to join the military before he heard of the legend of Osidia. His choice was to follow the legend was helped due to his inability to go to college due to funding. However, his passion for knowledge caused him to spend nearly two years in a university library, becoming knowledgeable on every subject under the sun. His brilliance shines forth in a crowd, and he's always willing to utilize his skills to help others. His happy, and optimistic, attitude and peaceful smile sometimes take people off guard, and is rather infectious.
Introduction Post: Tera Roth finished lacing his boots and shrugged the simple sword to a better position on his back. Brushing his soft hair out of his eyes, he turned and stepped out of his room. Smiling, he walked up to his parents and nodded to his father.

Background / History / Personality / Appearance: Kids love to run around in the sunshine, laughing happily, and playing games and sports. Xegreny Meion was not one of those kids. At a young age, he discovered an unusual talent. According to the doctors, "A evolutionary step" could be found at the exact center of his body. The kid could hurl bolts of energy across the room, and scorch the walls. At 6. He could also punch harder than most. It seemed as if he was born to find Osidia, and to explore the universe. But, fate is a cruel mistress. Living on the world of Genesis, Xegreny got no trainging or help to learn how to harness his destructive ablities. No, only experiments and operations. To his local doctor, he was a walking, talking alien. Then again, he might as well be. Alienated by the local children, Xegreny knew very little of the warmth of friendship. Now an adult, he wishes to find away to leave this world, to escape the over-curious doctors, to see what life was like outside of Genesis. To learn what he could do and to unleash his potential.

Appearance wise, Xegreny's pretty average. He wasnt running around exercising and lifting weights like some explorers. He's not that tall either, perhaps 5' 4". Helping him to stand out even more were his blue eyes, and messy red hair. Normally, Xegreny's seen around town in plain work jeans with a loose belt, and a plain white T-Shirt. Very everyday-heroish, what do you expect? Xegreny doesnt have a lot of cash either.
Living in one of Tkir's many districts, he had a house in a neighborhood that, wasnt that terrible.. just dont go outside at night.

Due to the nature of his abilities, Xegreny's pretty good with magic. Although he doesnt know any magical spells, he's got "Inner Magical Apptitude" or whatever, thats what the cheapo - palm reader told him, when he went in there for fun.

As for his personality, Xegreny's just a HUGE BALL OF SUNSHINE. Or perhaps a little cynical. Generally cheery and friendly, he's always willing to lend a hand. Of course, you'd have to give him proof that you wont bonk him on the head and steal his wallet.

Introduction Post: Stifling a yawn, Xegreny walked out of his home and locked the door behind him. Turning around he swore with silent dread as the small land-lord came waddling over.

"You! I need your rent, you can't keep staying here." The small man growled.

"I'll pay you later! Jeez! Your always on my back old man." Xegreny said breezing past him.

"No you dont! You've skipped out on two payments already!" The land-lord screeched lunging at our hero. Sticking out his hand, he placed it on the guy's face, pushing him and his swiping hands (more like claws) away.

After a heated debate with the man, Xegreny found himself homeless on the street. Sighing, he figured that could've gone alot better. Heading into the center of town, he looked for somewhere to get a job... He needed money now, more than ever.

But they had no money for anything extra.

Background / History / Personality / Appearance: Jordana had always lived a normal life, In a normal house, With a normal family, everything was perfect. But ever since she was 11 years old she wanted more, normal was boring for her. A old childhood friend of hers had said "Don't wish something else when everything Is perfect" but It was too late. One day, when she was 16 years old, her father had gone and she found her mother crying near the phone. He was gone, not dead, but he ran out In the middle of the night. Six months later her house had been robbed while she was out, her mother had been killed and her brother covered In blood. Trying to keep her and her little brother alive with the house they had almost been kicked out of twice had proved a big challenge. Throughout all of that chaos she managed to keep a happy positive attitude, although she was always positive and rarely cried. A strong heart, a wise man once said, will get you anywhere, and a strong heart Jordana had. A very trustworthy girl and Is willing to fight for anyone, Until The Death.
Jordana was made out to be a very pretty girl, not one you would expect to be fighting, but don't judge a book by Its cover. She Is about 5'6 and Is quite skinny but has a strong build. Jordana loves to wear shorts and a t-shirt, nothing special, she will try to avoid skirts and dresses, her old friend Is the only one who has seen her In girly outfits and her statement was 'You look Incredible' from that day, she had never even concidered wearing a skirt or dress.

"You Idiot" Jordana had a look of frustration on her face as she pulled her little brother by the ear through town "How am I ever going to keep us alive If your going to piss the same shop keeper off, hmm? He's been so good to us, you don't know anything" Jordana's little brother mumbled and winced as she pulled hard at his ear. She sighed and slowed down amid the crowds of people and pulled her little brother Into a small alleyway, It could hardly be called an alleyway, but It was good enough "Zeld, when I go he'll be your only friend around here" Zeld almost looked surprised "Go? Where? What do you mean?!" Jordana looked away, she had to tell him, It was either now or never.
Two days ago she had heard news of Osidian, of course, she thought the legend was long past, but two men were talking along the busy streets.
"..You think anyone will uncover the secrets?" The first man asked "Of what?" The second asked
"Osidian"
The second man laughed "Osidian Is a legend, you believe all that bull****?"
The first man didn't look amused at all "Of course I do, anyway, I heard young hero's are going forth to uncover the secrets" The second man must like laughing "Good luck to them," as they walked further away Jordana stopped "Good luck to them..." the second man repeated.
As Jordana told the story to her 12 year old brother his eyes grew wider "Your not really going to...I mean...Jorda..?" That was her nickname, her brother always called her by It.
Jordana looked In her little brother's eyes "Its time...We need that reward! We have nothing and we just need something to survive on" The rest of the walk home was In silence.
Finally, as she sat In her room sorting out the bills, she decided to get a job until she had enough money to leave.
