If I am correct with my coversion, she would weigh 165 pound american.

I'm am 55kg which makes me 121 pounds, so a 5 year old weighs 44 pounds more than me....

I would say these parents are evil to feed the girl so much, but they only make $10AUD a day so I have no clue how they can afford the food.

It's not likely she will though. They don't make enough money

    Evil?

It's not like they're shoving food down her throat, telling her to eat until she chokes. She needs to learn discipline, and they need to learn not to spoil her.
Just because it's a strange medical case doesn't make the situation any different from some American brat who gets 2 toys a week and cuts her parents if she doesn't.

The parents need to listen to what the doctor says and stop feeding this child. They also need to learn when not to cave in just because their kid is throwing tantrums.

The parents say she throws things at them, and probably hurts her siblings if they have food and she doesn't. It depends on how hungry she is, really. If she's starving, it could be really hard to get her to stop. No one likes to be starving constantly. Either her brain is sending the wrong signal, which is most likely, or she needs the constant food (unlikely). I don't see how they could possibly fix her, but it would be very expensive.

Yeah, as for the problem with her brain, she could have a problem with her Hypothalamus.

The hypothalamus influences food intake, weight regulation, fluid intake and balance, thirst, body heat, and the sleep cycle. That's probably part of the problem.

her parents are barely feeding her because they make little money in a week.
the article says she goes to her wealthier neighbors and eats their food too.

however she gets food, let's just pray she gets healthier

I am pretty sure she should weigh like...45lbs or something...
I don't know age weights, but that weight is wrong.
    Very wrong.
Someone cut her diet slowly and get it back to normal.
