I think everyone saw this coming from a mile away. They're awesome live but it's still not too big of a loss in my opinion.
As my girlfriend said above, it was pretty expected. They had a decent run and they have produced some beautiful songs in their time, but there just isn't a place for them anymore IMO. It is a shame, but when your time comes your time comes and I think the split is the best thing for them.
Meh, like I said, they were still a sight to see live. Sure, Britpop died in 1997 and their newest album sucked more than a few balls, but I was kinda hoping that Blur's reunion would spark them with some healthy competitiveness.
