Lucas nearly facepalmed as the man Isabella was talking about claimed to not care about her fun. Lucas didn't know the mad scientist very well but he knew for a fact she'd probably get a little riled up because of it. And she did. The next few minutes were a test of will for Lucas. He had to stand there simply staring at the gun he held. Clearly wherever he was, he had died and gone to hell. Looking at everyone else there and the fact the only one he knew was Isabella, it was the only logical explanation. He raised the gun to his head, but just as he was about to pull the trigger he took notice of just what Isabella was doing with her threats and attempted abduction.

Walking over to Isabella, he grabbed her and moved her just a couple of metres to the side. "Miss Terros, please refrain from doing things like that. We are in an unfamiliar environment, we know next to nothing about it, so to scare off any potential allies would not be the wisest idea. In short, it's a stupid idea so don't do it" Lucas said curtly, becoming a little irritated.with the woman. He then turned and looked straight at Alistair. "I apologize for my...business partner's behaviour. She hasn't had her coffee yet to my knowledge, but you should do your best to not antagonize her. We wouldn't want to make a scene, would we?" he asked. The investigator had his hand on his gun still, just in case. If what he had heard was true, there was no powers. What a beautiful world it was to not have to deal with that, but it made his weapon all the more important.

It took quite a while, but eventually Christie found the apartment that was hers. Or at least, that's what she was assuming to be her room...she'd tried literally every other door on that floor other than the one on the other side, and this door was already wide open. If it wasn't her room before, it was now. She invoked the almighty law of 'dibs'. Walking inside, the took notice of the things that were there inside and in plain sight. On a table nearby the entrance was a few neat little piles of clothing and some money on each pile. She took a quick look at one of the piles, only to realize they were her size exactly, and in her style of clothing too, as though someone had known she would arrive. Was it that voice from before? She pocketed the money on her pile and tossed the clothing onto one of the beds, before feeling the call of mother nature. Walking around a little, she found the bathroom immediately and encountered an issue. There was another woman in there. She seemed to be fixing up her arm with some kind of tape, something Christie had gone a few times in the academy. Approaching Veera, she spoke. "Hey, did you need some help?" she asked nicely.

Ignoring the antics that were going on, Shane got up and started walking towards the exit of the room. "Shane" was all he said as he continued walking. He was intending on finding his room, but he didn't want to ask people for help if he could avoid it. The last time he'd spoken to a group of people they had all been killed by his hand, and though he couldn't use his powers, they may not have been truly gone forever. No, that would be far too easy. So the less people that knew him, the better. Eventually he made his way to his room and opened the door with his key, fumbling around for a little bit. Opening the door, he threw himself onto one of the beds, simply staring up at the ceiling and trying to make sense of things.

"Just Sven is fine, thank you Cierra. You know I'd prefer it" Sven stated as her words resonated in his ears. The voice...he'd forgotten all about it. That explained the loss of powers, sort of. What else had it said? It'd mentioned school...how he had hated going to school. Almost as much as he hated the area he was in at that moment. A building full of humans, all of which he was incapable of killing. Was there anything worse? "I have no idea what's going on, but there's a chance that the door these keys open will be able to tell us. Shall we look for them?" Sven questioned, holding up the key as if to show her what he was talking about.

Roslind was completely ignored after the girl named Renée walked away from her. It wasn't like she was trying to disrespect the girl. She had given an honest effort at speaking. Nothing would come out. She sat there in the desk trying to get anything out, but there was no sound. Roslind rifled through the writing desk to find the aforementioned key and rose to her feet when the bell chimed. She wondered where the magic voice came from that had announced something about buses and school ending -- perhaps it was some sort of projection spell? She followed the crowd of people out of the room. There were even more strangely dressed people in the hall. None of them wore the clothes of her people. Was she the only one in this strange new land? How in the gods did I get here?

She stumbled through the hallway, narrowly avoiding the ogreish man plowing through the herds of people. Some boy was knocked over and she knelt down with a hand extended to assist him. Here. Roslind smiled at the young man with dark skin, blue eyes shining. Her words wouldn't come out, but she hoped that she could at least get the point across. When he was to his feet, she gave him a slight nod before heading out the peculiar looking doors. Some of the people that had been in the room were standing around outside while others were crossing the road to a large building on the other side of the street.

Roslind spun in circles. Pale blue eyes took in all sorts of unfamiliar sights. Strange metal machines were moving at high speeds on the road and tall metal fences surrounded the large building they had been in. She stumbled forward onto the road, still looking around at everything. What kind of bizarre land had she wound up in? Did the sell-sword put something in her drink? Had she been mistaken in trusting him -- not that she actually trusted him. He was clearly a liar, she just hadn't figured out what he was lying about.

There was a loud noise (honking) and she turned in the direction of it. One of the metal machines was barreling towards her and a person seemed to be inside. Was it some sort of carriage? The man on the other side of the glass was waving at her, and she waved back confused. What an odd thing to do.

It was a relief when she made it to the apartment building without being intercepted by anyone. As she was, she couldn't handle talking to anyone or she just might break down with the reality of everything.

As she walked through the foyer and to the splitting halls, she pulled the key from her pocket. Key imprints, angry and bright, stained her palms from how tightly she'd gripped the key. It was a surprise she didn't make herself bleed.

Room 100 . . . She sincerely hoped she didn't have a roommate, but she hardly ever got the things she wanted in life. If it were a true, that she did turn out to have a roommate, a small secret part of her hoped it would be—

Oh, don't be a fool, she berated herself with a lip bite. We promised, no more weakness . . . Yet, how long would she be able to uphold that promise?

As she turned down another hallway by following the signs, she watched people walk in and out of rooms, some looking lost and others just bored, as if this were a part of their every day routine.

Her eyes dance from sign to sign until she finally settled on one. Room 100.

With a deep breath to calm herself, Quin slot the key in and unlocked the door, desperately hoping no one was inside.

"H-Hello?" she called, cursing herself for the crack of her voice. She waited a few moments, but nothing. There was no one else here, and she let out a breath of relief that soon turned to a sob.

Quin crumpled to the floor, shaking and beginning to sob loudly—she hoped no one heard but she couldn't stop. All she could see were visions, visions, visions—Crestatia threatening her, switching bodies with Christina, the canoe in the swamp with Devyn, shooting that girl, Abigail when they were stuck in the auditorium . . . Her entire body quaked with her wails as she buried her puffing face into her muffler.

"M-Madeline . . ." she cried out, lifting her head, "Madeline, Madeline, Madeline," she sobbed louder with each time, coughing and sniffing and choking on her own mucus. It hurt. She hurt.

She just hoped she could calm down before anyone heard her or joined her as a roommate—she left the door unlocked but couldn't think straight enough to even get off the wooden floor of the entrance.

Oh dear, he was truly having far too much fun with this and it definitely reminded him of his youth. He knew Cal would have disapproved of all this but she wasn't around so he could be a bit naughty. It was honestly too easy and he was ready for more however another decided to join in this little conversation they held. This guy sort of reminded him of Danel, quite the calm individual in comparison to their psychotic partner. After his words Alistair could only close his eyes and let out a sigh, a small smile upon his face. "Ah, you needn't apologies...I had my fair share of fun...fun not caused by her of course" Alistair said with a sly grin as he looked at Isabella. "Your right, I'mma bit lazy today so I really not in the mood for a fight. I shall take my leave. I was so nice to talk to you" Alistair said jumping up to his feet and walked off. "See ya" Alistair said raising his hand in farewell as he walked off. Leaving her without letting her do her experiments, it made Alistair wonder if that made the girl chuckle.

There was pain and Altair definitely hoped he did not break anything. That man was truly a monster and and idiot...mostly an idiot. As he laid on the ground trying to get up he noticed somebody stand before him. A pretty girl stood before him and offered her hand to him, offering to help him up he assumed. Not shy to take the help, Altair accepted her hand and got up with her assistance. "Um thanks" Altair said with a small smile. Without even saying a word the girl had given him a nod and walked off. She was dressed quite odd and with both her and that beast of a man, this was definitely an odd experience.

    "WHOAHOHO! what happened here?!"

Upon hearing the voice of the red haired man who had just entered the hallway, Altair just rubbed his temples. "You...don't wanna know" Altair said with a sigh.

"Actually I do, I love me some discord, buuuuuuuuuuuut if your not gonna say then thats coo" Alistair said still looking at the crumpled up students. "Maaaaaaaaan I really missed out" Alistair said quite disappointed as he walked out of the school. Now that he was outside he stretched his arms out wide and let out a loud sigh as he enjoyed the outdoors. His eyes scanned around the area looking about as he walked off, watching as everybody was doing their own thing, however the moment he heard a loud beeping noise his attention was drawn towards the road. Normally Alistair would do something witty or stupid however in not even a second his body began to bolt forward towards the girl standing in the middle of the road "HEY WATCH OUT!" Alistair yelled out as he immediately ran forward at the girl. If he had his powers he would have surely been able to easily stop that car from where he stood, but without them he actually had to work more harder to fill that gap. Of course training his body immensely was something he was able to do due to his numerous and intense battles with Sam and with this training he was able to run quite fast without his powers. Reaching near the girl, Alistair immediately lunged forward and tackled the girl away from the speeding car. "G-god that is was too close" Alistair muttered, panting slightly.

Now on the safety of the sidewalk, Alistair quickly stood up and dusted himself off before grabbing hold of both arms of the girl and helped her up "You gotta be more careful" Alistair said suddenly using his hand to dust off any dirt on her clothes that must have been caught during the fall. His time with Cal sure as hell changed him, especially with the innocent looking girls. "Your not from around here...are you?" Alistair said noticing her clothing. Of course he himself didn't exactly know where they were, but at the very least everybody looked quite modernly dressed, excluding her.

HEY WATCH OUT! Someone was shouting. Roslind looked back to see a man rushing towards her. She tensed up as his body collided with her. The large metal machine raced passed, horn blaring. Their bodies hit the sidewalk and she cringed in pain. It wasn't too often large men tackled her out of the blue. G-god that was too close, the man muttered to himself. She gave him a blank stare.

    What just happened?

The man that threw himself at her stood up and dusted himself off before pulling Roslind to her feet as well. He did his best to dust her off as well, but she pulled back slightly. She wasn't supposed to let men touch her. You gotta be more careful. he told her while finishing off the dirt on her cloak. Careful of what? When he finished dusting her off, he appeared to be inspecting her clothes. You're not from around here...are you? It was more of a statement than a question. Roslind looked incredibly out of place. Even she knew it.

She shook her head no. How was she supposed to communicate with the people in this strange land? Roslind pointed to the road where the metal monster had been. She understood that it was a threat to her, at the very least. Her brows furrowed in frustration as she tried to figure out how to communicate. What was that monstrosity? What is this land? Who are you? How do I get home? So many questions she wished she could ask, and yet she couldn't find the words for any of them.

Renée managed to evade the rude girl once the bell rang. She let herself get lost in the crowd and slip away without any further conflict. The school reminded her of her own school. Then again, once you've seen one school, you've seen them all. She maneuvered her way through the crowds and halls with ease, making it outside into the courtyard in no time. Renée skipped past the others and headed in the direction of what she assumed was the apartment building. It was a large two-story building directly across the street from the campus and several of the others could be seen entering it. With a firm nod to herself, she slipped the key out of her pocket and dashed across the street.

This was so exciting. She did feel a little bit scared, but just chalked it up to adrenaline. Renée was always taking off. This time was no different. She would go home when she felt like going home and right now she wanted to explore. As she entered the apartment complex, Renée glanced down at her key. The number stamped into the small metal object read 108 and figured that had to be the room number. She started to head down the hall in search of her room, but came up short at the sound of sobbing. Renée had just rounded the corner when the painful noise grabbed hold of her in front of the door to room 100. She stopped and licked her lips, wondering if it would be rude to walk in.

Instead, she decided to try and do something from the hall. Renée didn't usually like interfering, but today seemed to be pretty stressful for a lot of people. She moved closer to what divided her between the source of the crying and knocked lightly on the door. Hey um, you don't have to open the door, but I thought maybe you might like some company. If you want me to leave I will, but I just thought I'd say that we'll figure this out. I'm not sure what you've been through, because it looks like a lot of people are having a hard time dealing with whatever this is, but you don't have to do it alone. So, um, yeah... I'm Renée by the way. I don't know if you caught that in the classroom, but I just thought I'd tell you. According to my key I'm in apartment 108 which looks like it's just down the hall. If you start to feel better, feel free to come find me. Um... sorry, if I bothered you. She backed away from the door looking unsure of herself.

Renée wrapped her fist around the key and decided she would head to her apartment. She told the crying person where to find her. Hopefully they would come. If they didn't, well then that was okay too. She didn't mind. She just wanted everyone else to be as happy as she was. When Renée found the door with 108 taped on it, she slipped the key into the lock, half expecting it not to work. The deadbolt slid out of place and the door pushed open. Hello? she called out, but no one seemed to answer. A smirk tugged at the corner of her mouth and she smiled. Dibs on the big room.

The girl said absolutely nothing to him and reeled back a bit making it quite difficult for him to have cleaned her off, but in the end he managed to at least do so. Regardless of her reluctance of letting him dust her off, she did however answer his question, albeit in a simple gesture. It was a good sign in the very least as it meant that the girl actually understood what he said and confirmed that language barriers would not be an issue, but she still did not speak a word at him.

She pointed off at the road trying to tell him something, but in the end he did not understand what exactly she was trying to get at. Alistair looked at the road and then back at her before raising an eyebrow as he scratched his head in confusion. "You know....it'd be easier if you told me what your trying to say" Alistair said before crossing his arms. "You...angry at me or something? Im usually fine with people getting pissed off at me as I usually deserve it....but in this case I don't think I did anything bad...unless you were trying to commit suicide..." Alistair said before narrowing her eyes as he looked at her. She didn't seem like she was angry at him, but more so frustrated if anything, like she was trying to say something...and then it hit him. "...or maybe your having trouble speaking?" Alistair said before ruffling in his pockets. "If thats the case...hmm...ah, here it is" Alistair said as he brought out a piece of paper and a pen. "Do you know how to write?" Alistair said holding out the paper. If anything, hopefully they could communicate through writing.

Harley guided Heidi through the crowd of people, keeping her close as ever as they wove through everyone and made their way toward the apartment building. He wondered if this town was even real. Had Bellhurst been real? Brookridge? Had any of it been real? It was throwing him off so bad that he wanted to yell out just to unwind, but he couldn't do that.

He had Heidi to worry about, and if he couldn't be stable enough for her, what would she do? Who would?

He looked down at her as they entered the building with a smile. "Are you alright? We'll be there soon."

From his pocket, he slipped the key into his hand and looked at the number on it. Room 208. "It looks like we're on the second floor." he grinned as they walked into the elevator. He made sure the door closed before anyone could come in, and when they were finally alone, away from other people, he let Heidi go, smiling reassuringly. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been so caring—everyone else was just a fun little toy to him (at least before Crestatia's game) but that was no good. No direction, too quick-paced, too risky.

Lame as it sounded, he had things—a person to protect now.

The elevator dinged when they arrived on the second floor and he grabbed Heidi's hand, leading her out. "Our room is 208," he told her, "I'unno if we're sharing with anyone else, but if I gotta, I'll kick them out for you." he half-joked. He knew she couldn't deal well with strangers and was willing to get used to killing already.

They walked down the hallway carpeted with ornate designs one might see at a tacky but fancy hotel, and the walls were cream-colored while the doors were dark brown, a gold plate numbering them off as they walked. He wondered if people actually lived in them or if they were just illusions.

    206 . . . 207 . . . 208 . . .

He pulled to a stop. "Here we are," he said when they were at the end of the hallway, letting go of Heidi's hand and slipping the key in. The door was still lucked, so hopefully that meant they didn't have to deal with anyone else right yet.

He led her in. "Hello?" he called out, just to check, but there was no reply and he grinned at Heidi. "Look's like we're the first ones here, quick, we gotta claim the biggest bedroom!"

Harley laughed, burrowing through the living room and feeling much lighter than when he woke up. He looked at Heidi with bright eyes and for a moment, he thought Maybe this'll be alright.

There were some interesting things going on where ever they were now. It was still an absolute mystery how they ended up there, except for something she heard from an unfamiliar voice. She was used to voices in her head, but she had no idea who or what that voice was. All she could really do is move on with whatever it is they are doing. Her head was still in a bit of a haze, especially since she had to get used to the almost constant fighting in her head again. There was so much that was going on around her, and yet she couldn't get herself to pay attention to any of it because of Camilla and Amalgam's bickering. The only time the fighting in her head really stopped was when a large, extremely muscular man went around screaming something about testosterone. Whether or not all of them were awestruck by the man's impressive physique or his extreme boisterousness, the pale little girl could not say. What she could say is that it was definitely a sight to see a man like him practically mow down an entire hallway of people.

At any rate, she now found herself at an apartment building. After a little bit of looking around the first floor, she found the room labeled 103. With a little bit of fumbling around for the key, she finally got the door open and went inside. "H-Hello? Is anybody in here?" Silence. It seems that she got there before whoever else might be sharing that room. She looked around, trying to get a feel for the apartment.

My God, this place is ugly. Your room back in Hell was waaaaaaaaaay better than this shitty little apartment. Joslyn had no idea how she could even say that. Maybe it was because she was just used to that kind of living area, but she was more than glad that she was no longer in that dreary-looking room.

I, for one, think this is a lovely little room for us. That was a sentiment she definitely shared with the angel.

I don't know, this is deeeeeffffinitely not the type of place I'd call cooooozzzzyyyyyyy~ The demonic voice chimed in.

"Well, at least we have a room, right?" She wasn't really too sure why she was even asking them that. They wouldn't really agree with her, would they?

I guess you're right. I mean, it's good to have a room. That means there's a place to invite that excellent specimen of a man for some fun. Ugh, the things that I would do to him... Camilla giggled, lust apparent in her voice. I swear, that man practically has the body of a God. Ugh, I want him, like, right now.

Oh please, you're not even that good at any of thaaaaaaaat~

    Bite me, chicken shit

I would, but you'd probably enjoooooooy that you kinky whooorrrreeee~!

Yeah, you'd like a piece of me, wouldn't you, you perverted bastard?

Ahahaha, yes, because I want to slobber all over you like you'd slobber all over his-

Alright, that's enough. Look at what you're doing to Joslyn! The white-haired girl was lying down on a nearby couch, her pale skin flushed a bright red from all of the colorful ideas being tossed around. Clearly, she was mistaken when she thought they would disagree with her. In fact, Camilla was more for it than she thought she would be.

Tch, it's not my fault the girl is incapable of handling these 'mature' ideas. And it's certainly not my fault that she's still a virgin, either.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's your fault that she can't even have a normal relationship. Even though she couldn't see it, she could feel Azazel staring daggers at them.

    Oh, yeah? Well-

'Oh, yeah? Well' what? The angel was really laying into her. It wasn't normal, but she certainly did appreciate that Azazel was trying to help her out. If you weren't so lewd and horrible, Joslyn would've had a chance at turning out normal.

Oh just shut up. Camilla knew she couldn't win that battle.

    That's what I thought.

"Thank you, Azazel. That was getting a little too detailed for me..." The girl had always been a modest one. Whether that was because of who she was around or because of Camilla's presence in her head she couldn't say, but she knew that with that demon inside of her head, normal relationships were out of the question. Oh, how she dreamed of having a normal relationship, without any additional lewd commentary on what she should do with the guy. She longed to know what it would be like to have a boyfriend, to live with another person that wasn't just a voice in her head, to know what it's like to fall in love.

Hmm, I wonder who is going to end up sharing this apartment with us. It could be anyone we saw in class. Oh, I remember seeing Semy in that classroom. I hope we share this apartment with her. Ooooooh, I really hope so. Her tone of voice reflected her excitement at the idea of sharing a room with Semyaza.

"It'd be good if we shared a room with someone we know. Although, I'm not sure what the odds of that happening are."

I wouldn't know the odds either, honey, but I do know that it's a possibility, and that's exciting enough for me. The angel was practically humming with excitement. Or, maybe we could end up sharing with Xathanael. It'll be like old times, right? Umm, I think she went by Hana, right?

"Right. I would love it if Hana was here with me, but I don't remember seeing her back in that classroom." She sat herself up on the couch she was on. The girl ran her hand through her silver hair, unsure of who to expect for their roommate.

You know....it'd be easier if you told me what your trying to say, the man told her.

Roslind huffed in annoyance. That is exactly what I have been trying to do. she protested to no avail.

You...angry at me or something? asked the man. Of course she wasn't angry at him. She knew when to be thankful for someone saving her. She likely would have been run down by the metal machine monster. I'm usually fine with people getting pissed off at me as I usually deserve it.... but in this case, I don't think I did anything bad... unless you were trying to commit suicide...

Never! Roslind wouldn't commit suicide. She had too many important jobs to do and if she killed herself, she couldn't heal people. She shook her head back and forth in protest. This wasn't working. He just didn't seem to understand.

...Or maybe your having trouble speaking?

YES! She nodded vigorously. The man seemed to search his person for a moment before pulling out something out of his pocket.

If that's the case...hmm...ah, here it is, he handed her a piece of paper and something she could only guess was a strange form of writing utensil. Do you know how to write? he asked her.

She nodded again. All of the priests were taught to read and write. Part of their duty was to take care of the scribe work and record. This was what Roslind had been waiting for. She could write down everything she had to say and show the man. It was foolproof this time. My name is Roslind Dyle. I am a High Priestess of the land Myamar. What is this kingdom and what sort of strange enchantments are on this land? Do you have any idea how we've come to be in this sort of place? What was that metal monster? And the small fuzzy fluffy creature in the room? What was that? We have nothing of that sort where I am from. Also the clothes! I do not understand them. For some reason my voice seems to be gone. I cannot find the words to speak. It took Roslind a moment to figure out how to work the strange quill. Her thumb bumped some sort of lever on the top and the top of the quill stuck out the bottom. She lifted her gaze up to the man, even more bewildered by this land, then looked back down at the paper. How was she supposed to write without any ink? She touched the tip of the quill to the paper and ink flowed on the page. SORCERY! This was all to incredible to take in.

Quickly she started writing everything down. It felt like her questions were endless, but the page was not. Roslind fit everything she could on there before holding it up for the man to read.

    Flora
--;Wandering the hallways, Flora found the room she was supposedly assigned to. She opened the door quietly and noticed that the room had already been disturbed. There was a pile made onto a bed. Examining the room a little more, she found a pile of supplies all seemingly fitting her. There was money on top to boot, but would it really be okay for her to take it? There was no indication it was hers beyond the fact that it was atop her pile. Truthfully, that was all the mute woman needed to realize everything would be okay.

    "Do you need some help?"

Flora heard the voice come from somewhere in the room. She poked around a little more and eventually made her way to the bathroom, where she discovered two more girls. One wrapping her arms in bandages and one offering to help. Flora smiled at them and bowed politely, crossing her hands over her heart. It was her way of telling them she was glad they were going to be living together.

Heidi followed after Harley to the apartment building, holding onto the arm he had linked with hers. She was so glad to have Harley here for her. Altair was here too and she still needed to see him. She didn't really know how to face him. She didn't know how to face any of them. At least Harley was here. At least he found her before she could get any worse. She didn't have her medication here. She hadn't taken it in such a long time. Just how long had she been dead? How long had it been since it all ended? Had it even ended? Won't it be fun to find out? She tried her best to ignore it.

Harley asked how she was doing as they entered the apartment building. She mumbled that she was fine and he led her to an elevator. It seemed as if he knew exactly where to go. When the elevator doors closed, it felt like she had just been locked away. Harley let go of her and smiled. They were alone. When were they alone last? She kept expecting him to turn into one of them, but he just stood there being Harley. A weight seemed to lift off her shoulders at that moment. He really wasn't part of her imagination. If this was death, she could live with that. She wouldn't mind being dead if Harley and Altair were both there with her.

When the elevator dinged, he grabbed her hand, leading her out of the metal box. Harley said they were in room 208 and made a joke about kicking out any potential roommates, though part of her thought he might be serious. She knew they had been through a lot. He had probably endured even more than her. She wouldn't doubt him fighting someone if it meant they were safe. When they reached the brown door with the number 208 on it in gold, her heart skipped a beat. This was it. Something would happen when they opened the door, but what?

"Here we are," he said, letting go of her hand to slip the key into the lock. The door opened with ease and she took a cautious step forward into the room. It was quiet. "Hello," he called out into the silence. No one was there. Her body was flooded with even more relief. Nothing happened. "Look's like we're the first ones here, quick, we gotta claim the biggest bedroom!"

Heidi followed Harley into the master bedroom. She felt safe for the first time in forever. "Harley," she called for him, looking up at his happy face. She hadn't seemed him look that genuinely happy in . . . ever? She felt it too. "It feels safe." she confessed. Heidi walked around the room, taking stock of what was in there: a queen-sized bed, a TV, a dresser, a reclining chair, and a CD player with a stack of CD's next to it. Heidi walked over to them to take a look. She didn't really listen to music, but knew Harley liked it. She bought him CD's for Christmas. CD's that looked a lot like the ones in her hands. Her brows knit together and she turned to face the blond-haired boy, flashing the cases. "Are these the ones I got you?" she asked, not sure. They looked so familiar. There was an unpleasant laughter in her head and she felt disturbed.

She set the CD's back down on the table immediately and made her way over to the bed to sit down. Heidi kicked her shoes off and pulled her feet up onto the mattress, tucking her knees against her chest. "What do we do now?"

Alistair waited patiently for the foreign girl to show him her message, hoping the girl was able to at least be able to communicate with her. At the very least she was able to inform him that the problem was that she couldn't speak. Watching her, he took notice of how she struggled to open the pen and even the sheer amazement and bewilderment she had while using the utensil was all noticed by the red haired aristocrat. He waited and watched her scribble on her message.

Eventually the strange girl finished her message and showed Alistair, only for Alistair to narrow his eyes and frown a disappointing frown. "Aaaaaaaaaaaand its all a bunch of scribble for me.....damn...I guess our writing language is totally different" Alistair said as he slumped with a sigh. Standing back up straight, he looked at the girl and crossed his arms. "If only I had my powers, I would have at least be able to try and telepathically speak to you or something...." Alistair said with a groan. "But still...I guess we'll keep on trying to find a way" Alistair said with a smile.

He stared at the girls strange clothing and cupped his chin with his hand as he began to ponder. With the way the girl was dressed she seemed as if she was from some medieval era. With that thought in mind things started to fall more in piece. If she was somehow from a time in the past it would explain her bewilderment with the roads, cars and even the pen. He swore he saw Semyaza and Adam split up, Bonnie was supposed to be in heaven, he saw Joslyn despite her fusion, Julius was younger and he himself was in a younger body with his eye intact. This was definitely the work of magic and the girl in front of him was lost..at least that what he thought.

"To be honest, I'm confused myself...somebody has used some sort of magic to bring us all together here...you heard her voice right? it was right before we woke up. Its as if she is playing some sort of game with us...This world that we are in, it looks to be as if it is based on a time where I originate from" Alistair said before spreading out his arms "and so I welcome you to the future! I know its a lot to take in but stick by me and I'll make sure your safe" Alistair said closing his eyes with a friendly grin

She was in desperate need of some tissues. Her muffler lay long discard to the side for fear she might get too much mucus on it. She peered through watery eyes, trying to take deep breaths and feeling so foolish for breaking down as she had, but every time she felt calm enough, another round of tears cascaded down her face. She'd heard of crying, but this was utterly ridiculous.

When there was a light knock on the door, she hardly registered it, almost thought it was a hallucination, and then a voice accompanied it.

"Hey um," Quin froze, mucus catching in her throat and choking her up. She coughed out, eyes becoming even more watery. "you don't have to open the door, but I thought maybe you might like some company. Um... sorry, if I bothered you."

Quin held steady through the prattling and sniffed multiple times, legs folded on either side of herself like a fallen doll. She waited for more, but there was nothing. The girl named Renée must have left, maybe for her own room.

She waited a few more moments, but there was still nothing and then her tense shoulders fell. Pressing her fists into her thighs, she scolded herself for letting go like that in a place like this, but there was just so much piled up. No matter or not if this game was supposed to be a fresh start, she genuinely didn't know if she could handle all the pain again.

Breathe . . . she told herself. Get a hold of yourself.

Quin pushed herself to her feet, swaying with lightheadedness before she could walk again. She picked her muffler up from the ground and looked around the apartment; it was a lot more spacious than she thought it would be, far more open too. It was still small as far as living spaces went, but she was glad to not feel suffocated.

Sniffling, she turned back to the door behind her and opened it. The walls were painted a pretty dark color, something maybe akin to teal, and it felt as if she might be back home, her home near the edge of the woods. She walked in and hung her muffler on a coat hanger next to the door and slipped off her wrap coat. She really needed some tissues.

Looking around some more, there was a bed, a dresser, a desk, an archer's bow on the wall, a music stand—

Wait a moment. She doubled back to the music stand; it was mid-height, elegant in design and looked . . . just like hers, back in the other game. And then the bow on the wall, the traditional bow with a small white ribbon tied to the lower limb . . . Also just like hers. Her eyes widened as she scanned the room once more and saw—

"My violin . . ." she gasped, hurrying over to it. She pulled the dark case up and unzipped it. Lo and behold, there it was. Her dark-wood violin and bow, her rosin and cleaning cloth. "Why are these here . . ." she asked herself, and then wondered if it was the game master's sick idea of some kind of treat.

She looked around the room one more time, seeing object from her old room dotted everywhere. Don't fall for it. she told herself, tried to urge herself, but she couldn't help it. This was the first semblance of normal—of home she'd seen since waking up. She wondered if that girl—Renée—also had objects from her previous home in her room too.

Veera looked up, and blinked. She hadn't even heard the other girl enter the room. "Um...yeah, if you know what you're doing. I guess I don't, really." Veera admitted sheepishly, looking back at her shoulder. "I just tried to mimic what the doctor did, but...." She paused as a second girl entered the room, and bowed to them. "Uh....shi[plain]t." Veera tried to reciprocate the gesture from her position on the toilet. "Nice to meet both of you. I'm Veera. Um....I guess we're roommates then?" It was a strange concept, to be taken from her normal life and tossed onto a death island game, only to be yanked from there and put here. She dearly hoped they didn't have to kill each other. "It's been a long time since I've had roommates."

As the man read what she had to say, he started to look disappointed and Roslind couldn't understand why. Did she write something offensive and not realize it? Aaaaaaaaaaaand it's all a bunch of scribble for me..... Damn... I guess our writing language is totally different. The man slumped with a sigh. No! That was her last shot. If they couldn't read what she had to say, there was no way to get her point across. She couldn't even tell them her name. It wasn't fair. Standing back up straight, he looked Roslind and crossed his arms. If only I had my powers, I would have at least be able to try and telepathically speak to you or something.... Telepathically? She did not know what that word meant. But, if it was some form of communication, she wished he could have done it. The man groaned and she frowned. But still... I guess we'll keep on trying to find a way. There was a smile on his face after he said that and Roslind felt oddly reassured.

She didn't want to spend her entire time here without the ability to talk. How long would her 'entire time' even be? Would this end in minute or last an eternity? Roslind watched as the man stood there thinking. How was she supposed to communicate if they could read her language? There was a lot of people in that room, maybe someone else would be able to. She pocketed the piece of paper and handed the strange quill back to the man.

To be honest, he began, I'm confused myself... That made two of them. Somebody has used some sort of magic to bring us all together here... You heard her voice right?

    She nodded.

It was right before we woke up. It's as if she is playing some sort of game with us... This world that we are in, it looks to be as if it is based on a time where I originate from. A time? What did he mean by a time he originated from? The man spread out his arms in a grand gesture and she was taken aback. And so, I welcome you to the future! I know it's a lot to take in, but stick by me and I'll make sure you're safe.

The man was grinning and Roslind stood there with a blank look on her face. The future? Well that was just impossible. No one could perform magic that would take them to the future. She wondered if the man had hit his head on the ground when he tackled her. He sure did have a lot to say. Roslind envied that. She didn't usually say much, but she would have liked the ability to choose to speak. The sell-sword seemed to get a lot out of her, but it was mostly comments on how he should go away.

Hesitantly, she lowered the hood of her cloak. Silvery hair was braided into a crown on her head and she tucked side braid behind her ear. Roslind pulled the key out of her pocket, inspecting it. She had never seen of key like that before. Her blue eyes narrowed to the stamp on it, trying to read the numbers, to no avail. She held the key up for him to see and tapped the imprint of room number 201. What does it say? she tried to ask him. Was it just some sort of design, or was it actually a word? She knew too little about this foreign land and she hated having to rely on others. This is going to become bothersome quickly. She caught a glimpse of the 'apartment' building that everyone had been mentioning before as she watched a few of them shuffle inside. What sort of place was an 'apartment'? It seemed the more she learned, the less she knew. There were just too many things to ask. I just want to go home.

Adam had pulled the keys out of the desk and finally decided to head on towards the apartment. He was fortunate to have left after whatever chaos Magnus had left behind and he happened to be walking with Semyaza who rolled their eyes, "You are not waiting for Harbonah? Seems unlike you."
"I was going to look for her after figuring out this apartment business." Adam said rolling his eyes and saying, "Do you have your own key?"
"Yes I do, and hopefully I am not stuck looped together with you."
    "Thanks..."
    "No problem, kiddo."
Adam grumbled and soon he got to the apartments. When he opened the door he looked inside cautiously and didn't walk in and Semyaza rolled their eyes and pushed him in causing him to fall, "Bloody hell, what was that for Semyaza?"
"I do not believe someone is going to jump out at you. There are no demons here... or if they are I do not believe they have any power."
"But you didn't have to push me to the ground."
"Wimp. You have been fighting demons for how long and the ground hurts you?" Semyaza waved and headed away going, "See you around~"

Adam looked around and thought it was pretty spacious considering, and it was a lot better than the places he had been camping the past few years. He looked around and saw there was only one bed, so he just went under the assumption maybe he was staying alone. Adam suddenly felt hungry and went to look to see if there was any food and saw it was stocked up and he cheered out,
"Yeeees." looking at the time to see if maybe it was close enough to dinner. When it wasn't really he just made a light snack of cucumber sandwiches and started making some tea.

Semyaza headed on into their apartment saying, "If anyone is here, hello~" and they looked and saw Joslyn on the couch and smiled, "Ah, so I got Joslyn." they shut the door and walked on in saying, "I know you might not have recognized me but if Azazel is in here." Semyaza pointed to their own head as if to reference Joslyn's head, "They may have. I am Semyaza."

There was a beat of silence before saying,
"Juuust to get this out of the way now. I am sorry." they didn't go into details over why they suddenly apologized they just kept on going, they then took a couple more steps into the room and looked around saying, "This is a nice and cozy looking place." they went and checked the cabinets, "There is food." they closed them and looked around, "There are supplies."

Semyaza walked on back and sat in a chair next to the couch and said,
"I would be completely content if it wasn't for the fact I have no powers here." Semyaza sat in a bit of silence for a second before looking at Joslyn, "How are you doing?"

His arms were still spread out happily and his grin remained on his face, but when there was no respond nor reaction a cold lonely breeze blew by. "Eheheheh...eheh...hah..." Alistair said as his laughter immediately turned really awkward after realizing she totally didn't believe him, causing him to slump a bit. This was definitely annoying as hell and he had no idea what he could do to solve this. Nonetheless he couldn't give up yet! Alistair was just too stubborn to give up and he couldn't leave the girl alone like this.

Looking over at the girl as she held up her apartment key, he watched as she pointed at her number. "Hmm, ah thats the key to your apartment room" Alistair said leaning in for a closer look at the key "lets see the key has a number that will tell you what room you'll be residing in the night.." Alistair said before pointing over at the apartment building they were going to stay at. "That is were we will be staying. Oh right you probably don't know what an apartment is...well its...hmm how to put this....its sort of like an inn basically. It contains different rooms that people live in...your key says 201 so its only logical that the key will open the door to room numbers 201" Alistair said pulling out his own key. "Hmm my key says 202 so I guess we won't be too far from each other" Alistair said. Suddenly he closed his eyes with a small smile. "Well then..." Alistair said as he placed one arm across his chest and bowed. "Allow me to be your guide milady, I know it must be frustrating, but I'm sure you'll be able to communicate soon and I shall be by of assistance to you until your perfectly fine on your own" Alistair said still in his bowed for as he raised his free hand up for her to hold. "Shall we be on our way?" Alistair said.

After a few moments of peace and quiet, the silence was broken by someone entering the apartment. "If anyone is here, hello~"

That voice! As if her prayers were answered, none other than Semyaza had entered their apartment. It seemed that she would be their roommate. The angel let out an excited squeal.

Wow, do you really have to get that excited over all this? The annoyance was clear in the demoness's voice

Seriously, any louder and I'd be deaf. Well, if I had ears, anywaaaays~

Shut up, you two~ The sing-songy tone of voice she said that in made it even clearer that she was in too good a mood to actually get mad.

"Ah, so I got Joslyn." The angel commented as she walked in and shut the door behind her. "I know you might not have recognized me but if Azazel is in here." She pointed to her head, knowing exactly who was in her head. "They may have. I am Semyaza." If Azazel had been able to make an audible squeal, it would've likely shattered all of the glass in the room. Suffice it to say, she knew who she was. It was odd, seeing Semyaza with her own body. She never really knew what she looked like, so laying eyes on her like this was strange to say the least.

Ahhhhh, it's so good to see her. I wish I could talk to her myself, but it seems like I can't really do much but remain a voice in your head. Joslyn wanted to speak, but she just couldn't get anything out. She wanted to ask her a couple of things, though she just couldn't figure out how to get it out.

After a beat of silence, the angel finally spoke. "Juuust to get this out of the way now. I am sorry." She didn't have to explain herself about why she was apologizing, they both knew what she was sorry for.

    Oh, Semy...

Ugh, this sappy shit is making me sick.

For once, I actually agreeee with yooouuuu~

"I-" Before Joslyn could even acknowledge her apology, Semyaza had already started to walk and look around the room.

"This is a nice and cozy looking place." She went over to the cabinets and opened them to see what was inside. "There is food." She shut the cabinet doors and inspected the room even more. "There are supplies." It was so sudden for her to apologize and then not acknowledge it at all. Was she trying to avoid the topic of talking about what had happened? Before she knew it, the angel had taken a seat on a chair next to the couch. "I would be completely content if it weren't for the fact that I have no powers here." There was a small bit of silence between the two before Semyaza looked right at Joslyn. "How are you doing?"

"I... I'm doing well. B-better than when I w-w-was back in H-Hell, anyways..." The nervous girl finally managed to get out after several more moments of awkward silence. The tension in the air was palpable. "A-and Azazel is doing well, t-too. Sh-she was super e-excited when y-you walked through the door." She looked down at her hands, as she nervously twiddled her thumbs, forcing herself to talk. "A-and, w-well..." She took a deep breath in and made herself look right at Semyaza. "I- uhh, I d-don't really blame you f-for what happened. Th-that was o-out of your hands." Camilla had made an audible retching noise from all of this talking.

Oh, honey. I'm so proud of you.

That makes one of us. Ugh, seriously, can we stop this now? I don't think my stomach can take much more of this pity party.

"So, umm... I have a-a question. W-why do you have your own b-b-body?" It was curious. How did Semyaza have a separate body from Adam? She knows that she saw both of them in the same room, so how was it that they ended up separated like this?

Semyaza did as close to a smile as they usually did at her saying she didn't blame them. It wasn't fully out of her hands, there was something she perhaps could have done to have at least swayed Adam off of that path. But in the end it was Adam's choices, and Semyaza already knew he regretted it. They just wanted to clear that from the air in case Joslyn or Azazel did blame her. But they were happy to hear that it wasn't the case.

When asked about the body situation Semyaza chuckled a bit and said
, "If I knew that, I would probably know more about what is going on..." Semyaza flexed a bit and said, "Either way, I love it. I know you may be able to appreciate it after all that happened, but most humans just do not appreciate how amazing fresh air feels... though this place feels strange to me in general..."

Semyaza took a deep breath and relaxed back more,
"After nearly a thousand years of being a voice in someone's head, or just being forced to sleep, it feels great to be my own being." they looked over at Joslyn for a moment and said, "Those two demons are not back in your head are they?" they only knew because of the conversations heard about Joslyn's voices and later on when they were in Hell she was fairly certain she heard something about them being demons. They sat up a little more and said, "If they are I feel even worse for the lot of you... oh dear did I just say the lot?" Semyaza covered her face and said, "He really is getting to my speech patterns."
