I made this in my spare time with the cruddy render from the front page.

das ist gut!!! I like it although the blue thing round his head is a bit off putting.

 

The only thing that I like is the text, the rest is bizzare, don´t use the liquify filter in the render, and the background is way too bizzare.

 

That blue thing really does not fit well.

And the liquify render does not look very good.

 

Wayyyyy too messy with the splatter, there. Text is way too noticeable and is quite slapped on.

ANd try not to wave/warp the stock like that. xD It kills the flow. Just like the blue line.

It's a nice attempt but it's way too busy... the flow is \, but that blue line totally diverts it. Depth is also very absent... blur/sharpen works wonders with that. And so does hue/saturation.

it looks ok...the background suits the image very well...though wats with the blue line? Try rendering it some more...

Um...ok...how to put this...it looks a little awful but, something that a little editing can't do!

 

Don't use the...er...is it liquify on GIMP?

Anyways, don't use that distort filter like that. It kind of ruins the focal. The tag overall is very monotonous in color and extremely messy. You're gonna have to step away from the pentool dude. It doesn't suit the effects that are being incorporated. The displacement with the sparks layer is quite repetitive through the canvas, which makes it quite bland.

On a lighter note, it does have some flow, which is a plus.
