Finishing up full burst with this scene that made me already cry so hard when I saw it in manga form..oh god nothing will ever be okay again for me ;_; Also: can a mod close my thread in game help about UNS3 sagebuto. I was finaly able to beat him
hey i just watched road to ninja the other day and the flashback scenes with minato and kushina... so many tears. it was sad in the manga but man seeing it play out on screen was great.
Oh god..this game has really made me cry. Last year when I got it I cried at; Naruto vs Sasuke Round 3, Minato & Kushina's final words to baby naruto and now theres this. the thing that made me cry most. ;_;
Holy crap, I thought I'd never see this in english. I remember when this came out years ago in the manga, and I found it depressing, but watching that with the music just made it that much more emotional. Makes me want to go back and continue watching the walkthrough of the game so I can see this all the way through
Wow I honestly haven't been keeping up with Naruto for years outside of playing the video games (still enjoy them even tho UNS3 was trash), but jeez that was some emotional shit
It's definitely the music. the way it just fits the scene and if you thought that was emotional watch Minato and kushina's final words to naruto. I cried real hard all in all this game has made me bawl my eyes out with some of the bosses
Oh yeah the Minato and Kushkush scene definitely got me too. That was one of the better things the game did. The story scenes were great, gameplay not so much
I just watched it, and it definitely had it's moment. People may hate naruto and say the story and characters are lame, but once shippuden came about, the guy did a really good job getting the emotional stuff out there
That's something I noticed too. Kishi's portrayals of grief are all really well executed. With stuff like this scene, the one with Naruto after the Jiraiya vs Pain fight, Shikamaru after Asuma vs Hidan, and the heartbreak that is the Kushina flashbacks omgggg. All of them had this raw, realistic feeling to it whether it be in the dialogue or just shown in the panels without dialogue. There is a lot to be said for his writing, but Kishi hits the mark every time with grief, imo.
You may hate me for this but, I beat him on my first try and got S rank... The only thing I had trouble with was the fight against the 6 tailed beasts, the 2nd fight. That one was a ***** to get S in.
Well...I beat the 6 tailed beasts without any trouble to be honest I didn't have any trouble with any bosses other than Kabuto. I couldn't really beat him without eating a thunder lunch before hand because then that evened my attack and defense buff to his.
why would you do this to me why Spoiler LOOK AT HIS FACE ON THAT MINI PANEL just everything with his parents is so good. and bless road to ninja for exploring what could have been with him and them more.
Spoiler: spoiler just in case he and kushina together are one of my favorite things in naruto. idk why but they play off of each other so well. Okay I have something of a love/hate relationship with anime. I've been through phases of liking it and not liking it, but I just recently got to a place where I can enjoy it on a different level than I enjoy other things. but this movie... omg this movie. I cannot say enough good things about Road to Ninja. It's immediately one of the most relatable things I've seen in anime on a surface level. It's something everyone has dealt with to some degree at one point or another, which immediately gives the movie credit for, you know, actually being about something other than the grandiose conceit. I like Sakura a lot more than most people seem to, so not only was her being a major character in this nice for me, but her character arc is written so well that it's one of my favorite parts of the movie. The juxtaposition of her parents and Naruto's parents is a major part of what makes this movie so great, and I never thought that her parents would play a big part of anything since we never hear about them, which makes it all the more interesting. I straight up lost it at the end when his parents said they're humans first and ninjas second. I never thought that the movie would go that far with the idea and I was so impressed on how well it was executed. Not saying its a flawless movie because there are definitely problems and things I don't care for, but its easily one of the best anime movies I've seen if not the best simply for it's ideas and how well it handles them. I kinda don't like that this is a Naruto movie though tbh. It's almost too good for this franchise imo and there's the problem that because it's part of a preexisting franchise people will bring their preexisting notions and opinions to it. I would say that this is not only a good anime movie but a good movie. It really goes against what anime movies traditionally are which is part of why I like it so much. And if nothing else props for not just being a clip-show of a wacky alternate universe. I was amazed at how little Sasuke was in this given the advertisements, which is something that easily could have destroyed the movie given what the movie is about.
