Zane returned to the library and Mya, in a better mood. He grinned and flopped down in a chair, "So, what've we got?"

Zee and Catherine left, without a word spoken to eachother. Eventually they found Haru sitting by the fountain again, alone. Zee watched Catherine as closely as she watched Haru as they followed him through the streets.

 

Mya sighed as she tossed a book aside and sat next to him. More theories and myths about them and all of this crap.

 

He frowned, "Well that's not helpful. You think the Templars know more about it?"

Haru led the two to an old warehouse. Of the two assassins that went in. Only Zee returned, battered and bloodied. "Dammit, ah, this isn't going to be good."

 

Mya shrugged. Probably not. I'm sure they're as clueless as us.

 

Zane nodded, "Hmm, it's impossible to find something that would be useful if we've no leads on it. We could check out the myths but I doubt they'd lead anywhere."

Shaking, Zee slammed open the doors of his room. He hurried to the bathroom to wash the blood from his hands and face.

 

Mya sighed and slumped into her seat. Maybe I should relax.

Sasha headed over to Zee's room, wondering if he was back.

 

Zane stood and wandered over to her, massaging her shoulders, "You should. It wouldn't be any fun if you were stressed out all the time."

Zee shook as he watched the blood go down the drain and gripped the sink hard. A woman's scream echoed in his head. No, I won't let you bother me anymore. I've let my panic rule me enough.

 

Mya smiled and closed her eyes. Hmm. That's why you're here right?

Sasha knocked on Zee's door. Zee? You in there?

 

"Of course." He leaned down and pressed a light kiss to her cheek, "I'm always here for your benefit."

Zee jumped and breathed deeply, Calm down, you idiot, it's only Sasha. She'll know somethings wrong if you start acting like a fool. "Yeah, I'm back Sasha. Come on in."

 

OOC: Sorry for not posting. I'm terribly addicted to this video game 8,D

BIC: Mya purred lightly. Well, I could use some relaxation. Care to join?

Sasha stepped into his room. So how did it go?

 

Zane laughed, "How would you relax without me?"

Zee stared at her like she was speaking another language, "How'd what go? I didn't do anything."

 

Mya smiled. I can't.

Sasha shrugged and sat on her bed.

 

Zane kissed her and stretched, "Too bad we didn't find anything." He ran a hand through his silver hair and sighed, "I hope Zee and Catherine don't mess up. They'll be dead in a second and that'll be impossible to explain to Sasha."

Zee sat next to her, his hands still shaking like a leaf. "I'm sorry I forgot about Zane's mission. I shouldn't have let my physical needs get head of my brain."

 

Mya nodded and closed her eyes, feeling a bit sleepy.

Sasha held his hand, not noticing his hands were shaking. It's my fault. I should stop interrupting your missions and mind.

 

Zane picked her up and carried her to their room. "You should rest. We all need our sleep. What a long day." He was rambling and he knew it.

Zee shakily brushed a lock of her hair back, "No, it's not your fault. I should have a little more self-control. I've always forgotten things in the past, but at least now I have a decent reason to forget them. Zane wasn't as mad as I thought he'd be."

 

Mya didn't really say much as she fell asleep in his arms.

Sasha looked at the floor, not knowing how to respond.

 

Zane gently put her down on their bed and stroked her face, "Sleep well, my love."

Zee tilted her chin up to look at her, "Hey, you okay?" He mournfully thought she should be asking him that with how he kept acting. Zee silently scolded himself for being so unnerved by a death.

 

Sasha smiled and shook her head. No I'm fine. Probably just tired.

 

Zane stood outside, he hadn't seen Catherine return.

Zee smiled comfortingly and pulled her into bed with him. "We should sleep. We both need our rest."

 

Sasha smiled and cuddled close to him. That's good. I could use some rest.
