I think this was it. It was either this, Medabots, Transformers RID, or something else. I'm not sure, it was all so long ago and I watched them all at about the same time.

Cyborg 009. I loved the style in which the characters are drawn. It reminds me of old-school black and white cartoons. Marvelous. Plus, the maturity of the show. It made it memorable for me. I still love that damn ending song showcasing the characters wonderfully drawn and coloured with marker. I'd watch the episodes while eating popcorn every time.

It was a great show. I wish I could somehow go back to that time when I was a kid and gave no ****s.

As for me, I have many anime shows that introduced me. As you two said, it was Medabots, Transformers (the jap'd up version), and other **** that I probably didn't watch cause I didn't like cartoons all that much as a kid. But now I do. ****

My sophomore anime club in 2007. One of the first things we watched (multiple viewing stations and this was the one that I decided to watch).

I can't recall if it was Dragon Ball Z or Pokemon. The time period where I got into those shows is kinda a big blur of glorious childhood.
