Nooooo!!!

I knew this so I recently murdered Zack Effron with my Death Note. Sorry, but he's dead.

 

Umm, if you are an actor, you want to show what kind of talent you have playing different roles.He would be amazingly stupid to put it down.
There is no use crying over spilt milk, I say move on with your lives and enjoy the movie, no matter who is in it.
It's not a musical you know.

WTF guys? He's not a bad actor. He did fairly well in Hairspray, and JUST because he's the poster boy for High School Musical, doesn't mean the movie instantly sucks ass.

 

Just another reason that the movie sucks in comparison.

 

Posing for a musical could make anyone look gay.

 

I'm starting to think the same for Sweeny Todd...but that's off-topic....anyway, point is, I think we should just let it lie and let bygones be bygones.

eh,I love those kinds of movies sorry,whatevers.

 

i just thought of something that's going to be annoying. if by some miricle he gets the part, think of the dang little kids. They're going to hear that their white night is going to be in another movie. All those little 8 and 9 year old kids going to see a (probably) pg-13 movie? I don't want to hear little kids talk, and then cry when they find out that the plot is actually good.

 

Parents aren't going to take their 8 and 9 year old kids to see Death Note. And the ones that do, would probably have acknowledged that their kids like DN.

 

I see your point, but there are some points i can make. There are bad parents out there. Parents buy their kids Grand Theft Auto (even thought the title is a turn off for me) for 7 year olds. I also think not a lot of american kids really know what anime is (they just think of pokemon as a cartoon.)

 

Yeah but anime movies do REALLY badly in American theaters. When I was younger, there were some pokemon movies that were in theaters, but others went straight to VHS. In terms of popularity among little kids, Death Note doesn't even come close. And if Pokemon did badly, Death Note would do even worse when it comes to the amount of little kids who see it. Not only that, but the story is hard to grasp for an 8 or 9 year old anyway.

The only thing is that I wonder how he became interested in DN...

 

After doing a take of HSM, he secretly stays up at night writing the names of the cast members in his little Death Note made of lined paper and black construction paper with "DEATH NOTE" written in white chalk on the front.

 

Pretty much the equivalent of saying that Paris Hilton has a good singing voice.

 

He has potential. It's alot like Shia LaBeouff (or however it's spelled), he was in Even Stevens, a lame kids show. Now look at where he is. Transformers, Indiana Jones, and he does a great job. I'm sure the same'll happen to Efron. If not, then it's just the luck of the draw.

 

I haven't seen Zack Efron play in a lot of movies o_O? I just thought he played in High School Musical and Hair Spray, correct me if I'm wrong. I don;t really like Efron, I've seen better. . . sorry ^^;
