Pfff lol. I said the same thing when I got put in Slytherin. Thought for sure I would be a Gryffindor, but nope. The sad part is that it actually kinda fits.
The sad part? Slytherin is my second choice after Ravenclaw, and I got Ravenclaw because I answered my questions correctly. What gave you your house? Ravenclaw > Slytherin > Gryffindor > Hufflepuff
Gryffindor > Slytherin = Ravenclaw > Hufflepuff I mean, I don't mind being a Slytherin that much, I just honestly thought I would be put in Gryffindor. Although, the questions can only do so much. Nothing and nobody can look inside your head like the hat would.
Yeah; you need an invitation from the scavenger hunt that took place back in July/August. I got mine today and I've been skimming through the first book.
Back around July, there was a scavenger hunt that was based around the books. A certain amount of people who solved the problems were allowed early entry into Pottermore. It'll be open to the public some time in October, but it's in it's beta mode right now.
Basically, the first million to complete the scavanger hunt got beta accounts, and the've been letting people in a few hundred at a time as beta testers ever since. They don't want to overload the servers or something I guess. Although there's not much left to beta at this point... Anyway, I got my letter a few weeks back and I got put in Slytherin. It's a pretty interactive site, actually.
