Is there any reason, why their eyes are covered/gone?

 

They have those little thing in their eyes. Like pokémons when they've fainted.

I don't think so, it might just be the design. That's just what I think though, I don't know.

 

Maybe it's to hide their identity? Or they don't have eyes at all. *shrugs shoulders* It's an interesting question.

Yeah i agree, maybe its because they don't really have an identity, they don't need eyes. They probably use other senses too, so they dont need to see? lol, im rambling now.

 

Mmm... maybe because they're nobodies, they don't need what we need... maybe.. or they could sense so they don't need eyes... I dunno...

maybe the orginization made them that way so that they could maintain control over them?

like if they didnt have eyes they wouldnt be able to see the fact that other living things could feel emotions (in things such as laughter, tears) therefore may go mad, (after all, they still have minds)

or to surpress any compassion they may think they feel? (if they see another person in pain they might think they feel sympathy or something and let them live)

yea, its a dumb theory but anyway.

 

Maybe they just sense the hearts and or souls of its prey so they don't need eyes.

 

I really doubt there isa reason. I don't think Nomura went that deep into the symbolizations. I just think that the way they were made.

 

I would say because eyes are said to be the windows of the soul, but nobodies do have souls... I must just be their design, or something.

 

Isnt it 'spirit'? 'Soul' sounds too religious

 

The Nobodies in a way wear 'suits' to hold their spirits within them. Kind of like the Org wear the cloaks to protect them from Darkness and conceal themselves. The Nobodies that are lessers do not get the good fortune of returning in forms that resemble people wholly so their 'bodies' are basically holding their spirits within pretty much. They probably don't need eyes in the sense that we do and their bodies are basically colored, zippered and with decorations as though they were clothing, be it armor or something simpler. That would be my guess anyway why they are the way they are.

I don't think there's a huge reason. It could be that eyes represent souls in some people's minds, so we don't see their eyes.

But I think it's just how they're designed.

 

Why should it matter?
They're nobodies; they weren't supposed to exist.
