Nobodies are born from nothing. Same for Nithlings. According to sources Nithlings were made before Nobodies, so what do you think?

    Here is a Nithling descroption:

    Nithlings
Nithlings are formed from Nothing. They are feared by most of the House due to their ability to kill even an immortal Denizen with a festering bite. Nithlings take a variety of shapes and are incorporated into every book in some form. They appear to lack complex intelligence, although some types can be used as servants (Notably the Fetchers, sent to retrieve the Key in Book One). Most lower forms of Nithling can be dispatched with silver or salt, though this has little effect on higher or more substantially Made Nithlings.

Nithlings return to Nothing when killed. They are employed by many Denizens and the Morrow Days for menial tasks, especially when someone is needed to venture into the Secondary Realms. Nithling species usually are named; this implies that they are usually made in regular forms. The Nithlings seen so far in the books are:

BTW, Nithlings are from the series: Keys to the Kingdom

Well considering the Nobodies seem to be actually created from Darkness (which does not mean -nothing- since Xemnas's power was Nothingness) and some element form, along with the Mind/Soul, no, I don't think so. Also, Nobodies are intelligent and even the ones that are not higher Nobodies have the Heartless beat in that department. The Nobodies aren't -supposed- to exist as Yen Sid said but then again the Heartless weren't ever supposed to be out of Darkness either but were let out 8 to 10 years prior to the Kingdom Hearts first game main setting by Xehanort and his cronies while working for Ansem the Wise. Nobodies were a result of that experiment. I really don't think they relate but in some minor ways really. Nomura's goal with the storyline seems to focus on what others have, about the importance of the aspects of what makes a person whole, and dividing them up to see what remains. In that way we can see similarities but then again, many people do these things. Otherwise, laying a Nobody and a Nithling side by side, they are pretty different.
