Nobodies, or Heartless?

I looked around, and I could not find a serious topic which asked this... Although, I found a couple of RP's, and something which asked who can destroy which.

Quite simply, which do you think is more dangerous?

Honestly, I side with the heartless here. Although, from what we saw in KH2, Nobodies are generally more powerful for their classes, I think only Soldier Heartless and higher really form Nobodies (personal opinion, since Dusks, the most basic Nobody, reminded me so much of Soldiers, theory was that they were each-other's counterparts. That, or else that Knight thing was the dusks counterparts, whoms name defeats me).

So, seeing as Heartless are formed from simply the heart, and nobodies are only formed by those with a strong soul, it should be safe to assume that many heartless do not have Nobodies, giving Heartless the sheer strength in numbers. Additionally, I don't think we've ever seen a Dark Side actually defeated in the main gameplay of the series, although, we saw those three get destroyed in BBS:FM (correct me if I'm wrong anywhere here).

So, I suppose an example of this would be, Dark Side VS Twilight Thorn (since no one can argue with me that they aren't each-other's counterparts. They are just TOO similiar to not be related). Twilight Thorn is flexible, and from what we've seen, alot faster than Dark Side, but I think in terms of pure power, Dark Side easily wins out with destroying Destiny Islands. Now, it would be nice if we could argue this as the relationship for all Heartless and Nobodies in terms of ability, but Saix proves that wrong shortly after the 1000 Heartless Battle.

I suppose I honestly feel that the Heartless are more powerful just because they come in pure numbers. Between the Emblem and Pureblood Heartless, we have what I'd bet nears a hundred different types of Heartless out of all the games, whilst there are only 15 main types of Nobody (Org, Twilight Thorn, World of Nothingness, Dusks, Samurai, Dancers, Gamblers, Snipers, etc.). This would also place the Heartless as more versatile, though, it's probably guaranteed we have not seen all the different kinds of Nobodies out there.

Additionally, I personally feel that Nobodies are held in a single fixed position of ability after their creation, though, it can evidently fluctuate depending on outside conditions (Saix). Heartless, we have seen, grow more powerful the more hearts they consume, and as they grow stronger, they create more numbers. This would mean that although a Nobody born from a strong person would initially be stronger than their Heartless, their heartless could continue to grow more and more powerful all the while increasing the Heartless Ranks at a far higher rate than the Nobodies can.

Additionally, from what we saw of Aqua's adventures in the Realm of Darkness, the heartless are far more threatening than the 1000 Heartless Battle, and any major clash between Heartless and almost anything else have hinted towards. Which rises the point that although Nobodies, who are in-between the two realms, would presumably have only slight drops in their strength, for Heartless, invading the Realm of Light, seems to deeply weaken them. Though, if this applies to Emblems is beyond me, since the Realm of Darkness only had Purebloods.

Any corrections/thoughts? Feel free to openly debate this btw, I'm honestly looking for opinions.

And I'm sorry if there is already a topic covering this, I could not, for the life of me, find one.

I prefer the Nobodies. They provided something new that KH was lacking (even though I finished KHII first).
And most of the Nobodies are name after Job Classes in Final Fantasy. That's a thumbs up in my book. =]

Also because the Nobodies were quite challenging in my first play-through, when I was a newbie and had no idea of how to play the game properly. I like a challenge.

I'll agree, if only because of how they moved, they were harder to hit and kill B|

But the jack in the boxes... those are evil... so... so evil...

I have less trouble with Sephiroth then I do those damn boxes B|

I hated those. Killing them was a satisfaction. >8D

Although, at least the Heartless drop Drive Orbs and HP Orbs. I didn't really care for MP. Eh.

I hate them on Proud Mode... takes hours to get anything done in Halloween Town...

I'll agree though. I found MP Haste and etc better for regaining MP anyways. obviously lol
I still say Heartless over Nobodies though. Some of the heartless are just... so frustrating B|

    Alright, my opinion is...

Heartless "are" darkness, right? Emblems born from a heart and Purebloods from pure darkness. Anyhow, Heartless have the power of Darkness, and always are hunting for more and more Hearts.

Nobodies "are" "nothingness". They are only formed by strong souls. They wish to become whole again -that meaning have a heart again, unlike Heartless, that just act by extinct, Nobodies think. They seek Hearts as well.

In terms of story, in Kingdom Hearts; Heartless have power and Nobodies can think, the force against brain. Normaly in this situation, we would say the brain wins?

But going back to gameplay; there are a lot of Heartless and just a few Nobodies. Since the Shadow until Dark Side, there are a huge numbers of Heartless, the game is focus on them (at least, in the begining before the 1000 Heartless Battle). But since Dusk until Twilight Thron, there are just a few enemies.

But even with this difference of Numbers, (we are still on my opinion) doesn't matter; because defeating a Heartless is way TOO easier than defeating a Heartless.

Now the Toy Soldier and the Graveyard (or most know as "Damn Boxes"), have a high attack (YES, I HATE THEM TOO!!!), high HP and they run like a rabit. They're annoying! If you haven't complete Hades Cup Round 41 on Pround Mode, you don't know how annoying they are. It took me AGES to complete Hades Cup's entries of Jiminy Journal, especialy to pass through some Toy Soliders and Graveyards of this round.

Edit: The Hades Cup Round witch contains two Toy Soliders and two Graveyards is the Round 41. I am sorry, I'm changed my opinion: Nobodies are stronger than Heartless.

I say that the Nobodies are more dangerous.
Their movement, and general speed and power are a dangerous combination.
They also have the power of individuality, as seen by the Organization, which can leave them for a strange enemy.

In my opinion I would say the heartless are more dangerous because they appear more than nobodies. I agree nobodies are more powerful than heartless because they are a bit harder to kill but they're not commonly found around the worlds compared to heartless. Also, heartless will take ones heart away and will just keep coming at you especially if there's darkness around.

But if it was the Nobodies and the Unversed, I would go with the Unversed. Why?
Vanitas is their leader, and they are as hard as hell.

I honestly prefer nobodies. I mean , there are so many more variety of nobodies than heartless and for most of them there are reaction commands that are fun to preform. My favourite is berserker because you can grab his giant claymore and slam everyone else about with it. Plus it was something new , i found the nobodies a bit more frighting at the start when you first see them than when fighting against them in KH1 , the shadow heartless aren't really scary more just..cute i guess. When i first saw a dusk , i actually got scared xD plus there are organisation 13 , they are nobodies and i really like them too.

I'll have to choose Nobodies for a few reasons.
    1. The first form of Nobody (Dusk) Has more HP and attack power than a Shadow, the first basic form of
    Heartless.
2.Nobodies have unique weaknesses to magic and diffrent types of abilities and combo attacks, making
    them difficult to kill.
    3. Nobodies have a more variety of attacks and powers, making every battle a diffrent experience.
    4. These enemies when thought, are only seen after a main point of the story, and are usually used for events.
    5. Nobodies just own, I mean, everyone has a bad experience with them (including me).

I'll have to side with the Nobodies. They're much stronger and dangerous, in my opinion.

    Definately the Nobodies.
Unlike yhe Heartless, Nobodies are a lot more expierianced in fighting and are a lot stronger than the Heartless.

    Thats my opinion at least.

I prefer the Heartless, they have more variety to them and are just the cooler concept in general, the darkness within in a person is much more appealing than the husk they leave behind imo.

I prefer the Nobodies. They may not have as much diversity as the Heartless do but they are stronger and more powerful. Aside from that they also have the Organization one of the coolest villain groups I know.
