Looks like another one of those "hidden" bosses. I never played any of the FM so I don't know if it's a regular you fight in the level or a boss you have to do certain things to fight. But the boss looks pretty sick in my opinion.

 

I for ne am very excited, and the only footage of No Heart was in the trailer, but it wasn't a battle. I would hope in some way it is cannon, but it most likely only there to improve the significance of Xemnas and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. No Heart was a determining factor in making me want to buy BBSFM. I will be getting it as soon a I can.

 

This boss is an interesting one.I started to think if that one is the xehanort's armor he used to travel through the worlds in his past.

The black cloak used by the organization belong to him too.

 

This actually makes a lot of sense. Xehanort stated in his reports that he took off his armour in the Lanes Between, so this would explain what happened to it. It seems all other armour in the series has been accounted for (except Ven's), so it'd make sense to account for Xehanort's old armour too.

 

Good point, P. That sounds most convincing. But perhaps the original Xehanort had slightly differing armor; The Nobody sigils really seam out of place.
But, here's another theory of mine for this armor.

Xemnas, in order to take over Terra, extracted his own heart similar in fashion to how Sora had in KH1. Sora doing this resulted in a Nobody and a Heartless, as his heart was left to be taken by the darkness.
As for a heartless, Master Xehanort instead thrust his heart upon Terra. What happened to his body? This armor could in-fact be the Nobody of the old man. His name also being opposite that of a Nobody; An anagram of the original, subtracting the X instead of adding one. The name also turns out to be No Heart; Nobody's have No Heart.
Could this be the original Nobody?

 

We talking about the Terra Lingering Sentiment, or the Vanitas one? Because I thought the Terra one was canon.

 

The No Heart theme is just like that of Xemnas during the fights in his armor.
Okey, slightly recomposed, but not all too different.

As far as Canon-ocity for the Lingering sentiment fight, I will just assume that for now, it is canon. As knowing them, they will make it Canon in a later game.
But that's just me, believe what you will.

 

Why not? It'd all work out if it were real. Sora travels there, it's not a tournament match, etc. Has Nomura stated that it's non-canon?
