Nintendo's DSi Shipping in Japan on Nov. 1st

OMG its actually catching up to a PsP lol.

 

This is not a replacement for the DS-Lite, it's a different tier of the same system, akin to the Xbox 360 Elite; it's a multimedia-heavy option for those who so wish to have the features, the regular DS Lite model will remain in production simultaneously with the DS-i

Well here is my perfect DS:

A large easy-to replace screen (not as big as psp)
No GBA port to make it smaller
Good backlight
No "In chip" memory, only to SD slot
A little bigger speakers
Longer-lasting battery
Mp3/4 capabilities
longer range wifi

And a really big if would be...
GCN capabilities!!!

 

I'm worried that all the DSLites will become outdated, and so will all Gameboy games. DS is supposed to be a hand-held VIDEO GAME system, not a cheaper Iphone. It sounds cool I guess, but it's kinda iffy.

Darnit...see, I don't really know much, but I'm thinking, they put the new ds right there with the people who want to get 358/2 days.

careful what you say- Kingdom Hearts is made by Square Enix, and, last time I checked, the KH in KH-Vids.net stood for Kingdom Hearts
anyways, by the time the Game Boy Micro came out, the DS was released, isn't it about time for Nintendo to replace the DS

 

I dont really see the point in this. heck, I have a regular old DS, and I still play the crap out of it. I didn't need a DS Lite, and I really doubt I'll need this.

 

Meh. A shame it will not have backwards compatibility.
