The new console looks awesome.

 

I don't even care if it's called the Wii U, those demos were beautiful and the fact they're releasing games targeting hardcore gamers at the release is definitely a step in the right direction.

 

I'm not buying the new wii. the wii is definately the one counsal I will hate from Nintendo. I just don't like the way the controls work. I don't care if they're making controllers for the new wii. It's still a wii. That and a starting price of $600 is way too steep

well, I keep finding everywhere I look it's going to start at 600, did I miss something at the E3? I don't have G4TV since it was taken of DirectTV so I can't watch it right now

 

No price was announced at E3, it was a console unveiling and tech demos.
Which looked fantastic.

I'll have to see more before I make real opinions about it. Part of me kind of hates the Wii U and another part of me likes the Wii U.

 

I dislike the name. I keep saying, 'Weeeee wooo'.

 

I keep thinking its short for Wii University.

SSB seems like it'll be interesting for it. But the only Nintendo games I like are the handheld games, pretty much. And SSB is coming to the 3DS, so yeah.​

 

Entertainment isn't enough for them. I'm now waiting for them to announce a merger with McGraw Hill.

Why can't we just have a normal console without any of these gimmicks? Why are they bringing so much attention to the controller? I always thought the controller was made so that you would get more immersed in the game, like it's a toll of immersion. Now I have to stare at my controller for five minutes when going to menus? Goddammit Nintendo.

 

I agree that Nintendo is getting REALLY gimmicky. But we really don't know anything about the Wii U yet and I doubt we can get everything from one little snippet. I remember first seeing the DS and I said it was the most ******ed thing to have been created "Two screens?! How can one concentrate on whats going on!?"
