Wow, thats kinda sad -__-

 

Still sticking with my Wii, I've finished playing the games I've wanted to play on the Wii, and I'm now going to start buying games I haven't got on my old systems or that I sold and playing them. Also waiting for Monster Hunter 3, Next Zelda and Mario (a good one) and No more heroes 2, need to check up on what else is coming out for the Wii.

Anyone else like the idea of Animal Crossing?

 

I've played Wild World on my DS. I enjoyed it, but I haven't picked it up lately.

As for the new Animal Crossing for the Wii, I don't know if I should buy it or not. I hear it is basically the same thing.

 

My parents only like the Wii because you stand up for some of the games. Personally I don't like it that much. I'd much rather get a PS3.

 

i personally prefer my Wii over my PS3 actually. i just like the games better, they're more of what i enjoy.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl (LOVE THIS GAME, probably play that the most)
Zelda Twilight Princess (this game is good, but can be very dull at times)
Megaman 9
Soul Calibur Legends (alot of ppl hate this but i actually like it, guess it's one of those things you either love or hate)
Mario Party 8---LOTS OF FUN
Kabooki Cranium---it's just a video game version of the board game Cranium
Wii Sports
Winter Sports
House of the Dead 2 & 3 (and i usually HATE Zombie games!)
Wii Play (this game is lame though)
NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (pretty good for a girl's game, lol)
Crash of Titans (LAME)

and i'm planning on picking up Mariokart Wii sometime, i played it once before, loved it.

but i love how for the PS3, you can download all these demos, i like demos, i wish Wii could do that, but ahh well.

what IS Animal Crossing btw? i've seen commercials about it and seen the new games on the shelves. but what is it about? it looks cool though. and is it any good?

Well it's a life simulator in which you pay off your house, hang out with friends online, and make friends with your neighbors(Which just happen to be animals)

It's an "acquired" taste but it can be really fun once you get into it :P

 

i liked some of the games, but some of them WERE kinda lame.

so Animal Crossing is just like Sims huh? the fact that the residents are animals makes me more interested than if they were ppl to tell you the truth, lol. are there like mini games in Animal Crossing that you can do with your friends? and do you HAVE to play online?

 

No online play is totally optional. (I recommend it though)
It's not exactly like the sims, because you actually play as your little dude.
Minigames can be played with other animals in your town, however not other people.
(But you can always come up with your own games like Hide n Seek and Net Wars online)

What I'm saying is, you should definitely give it a shot if you've never played it before.
