Nine Kingdom

Mya nodded at Drei before looking back at Bheliar. "What you're saying is literally impossible. The capitol of Vision is not meant for the general public, less though for a Demon. They'll smell you out within 5 miles within the gates of that place. You're not even fully recovered yet. I suggest you wait. Your haste will only cause more distress...especially to this town if they get word that a demon was here."

 

"I am strong enough." said Bheliar, confident in himself. Mya could hear the confidence in his voice as well. "They will not know I am a demon, I have learned that you humans are more likely to believe what you see rather than what you hear or smell. Besides, I don't have to worry, because you are coming with me."

 

Drei heard the confidence in his voice and chuckled slightly. It wasn't a mocking one, more like a entertain one. "You sure seem confident about your skills. Not that there's anything wrong with that."

Eins made his way outside and found Alastair with his dragon. "I see, that's where you where." He said.

 

Mya frowned at him, especially the last part. "Obviously, you haven't met the high priests. They were trained for their whole lives detecting demons from great distances. Not even the demon god could hide himself from them. Also, who gave you the idea that I was going with you? I sure as heck didn't and I don't know why you'd even want me to go. Even being a high ranking social person, I don't have access in there."

 

"My apologies..." Said Bheliar to Mya "I had assumed that you would be helping me since you have before. I know that sounds rude, but I..." Bheliar's mind trailed off "Nevermind. I suppose without your assistance, it will be just as easy. I would have prefered if you came with though. It would have eased my mind." Bheliar then began to walk out of the building, then he turned back to Mya "I don't suppose you might have second thoughts?"

 

Once she had a pack filled with non perishable food items Suri decided to head back to Vitan's side. But before she could do that her eye was caught by a flicker of a orange that seemed to emanate from a shadowy and deserted alleyway. Suri came to a stop in a intersection of the main road and the alleyway, peering down the cobblestone path that lead almost into complete darkness. " How can a place be so dark during the day...?" Suri thought as a eerie feeling seemed to flood her body.

 

Mya sighed. "Even if I did refuse the offer, I'd still be in trouble. One way or another, they would still find out I was harboring you in the Monastery. Guess no matter what, I'm stuck with you. I don't like it, but what choice do I have?"

 

Vitan walked up to Suri with a bag in hand and many supplies in the bag. He smiled and was happy with himself at all he had accomplished. "You get everything you need, Suri? It's going to be a long trip and who knows if well end up running into the empire along the way."

Bheliar looked at her for a moment or two being silent before he said "As much as I appreciate what you did for me, you put yourself in this position. I can only gareentee that you will have my protection should any unforseen event should arise." Bheliar then walked back over to her and waited for her response. This girl would prove helpful to Bheliar's cause, but Bheliar couldn't help but wonder what she really thought of him. They were not of the same kind, yet she was willing to go off with him on this journey? They were complete strangers and were also completely different kinds of creatures... It just didn't make sense in Bheliar's mind why she would come at all. But he wanted her to come, regardless.

 

"Well, I don't have much choice but to tag along with you guys." Drei said. After all if Mya left, he'd be the one would have to deal with the priest whenever they return, a task he didn't want to do.

 

" Yes I think we have everything, it's just... something feels strange and I can't quite put my finger on it whatever it is..." Suri said with a sigh as she swung her bag over her shoulder.

 

Mya shook her hand. "Yea yea I know. I can handle myself thank you very much. I came here to Vision for a reason you know?" She grabbed her sword leaning against the wall. "So you got a plan when we get in there...assuming we can."

 

"Well, the way things have been turning out, I'm sure we'll figure out what it is soon..." Vitan held his bag of items in his right hand with his sword held in his left. Vitan then motioned at Suri "C'mon, let's get going." Vitan and Suri both went to the Caravan where Alastair had told them to meet him. Vitan walked up to him and showed him the bag of goodies he had collected "Ready!"

"I have plans for everything. For missions succeeded and missions failed." said Bheliar with confidence in his voice "And we will get in, I can get myself and others into the most exclusive clubs. They won't see anything past their noses." Bheliar the opened up the palm of his right hand and put it up to his face. A dark orb appeared in his hand. For a moment Bheliar's disguise faded away to reveal a creature with many odd features, very different from the human form he had taken before. Then he just as quickly reshaped his form and looked like someone else entirely. He looked noble with red's and purple's in his clothing. "Come, now. Let us go. We have much to do." Bheliar motion for Mya and Drei to follow him.

 

" I wonder how far we will get on the road today.... what is your estimation on how long it's going to take for us to get there?" Suri said as she followed Vitan.

 

Drei nodded as he followed behind Bheliar. He made sure that his sword was secure to his back and hidden by his jacket. Considering what they were planning, it would be better to keep all attention towards them to a minimal at best.

 

"By my estimation we should make it half way before we stop for the night, after that we should get to the port town tomorrow afternoon" Alastair said as he hoped up into one of the carriages and helped the other two in.

 

Vitan sat in the carrige with his belongings next to him. He sat quietly thinking about the journey ahead. It was rather simple from here on out. Just getting from one place to another until they arrived at their final destination.

 

Mya sighed and followed him out of the monastery. "First sign of suspicion, and I'm bailing out. You're seriously underestimating the security here, but I'll see for myself just how good you are at this. Just what are you really planning to do?"

 

"Once we get in, I plan to inform their leaders about the incoming attack from the empire. Odds are that we are the only ones who have escaped. But I don't believe Alastair and the others will be heading that way." Bheliar took a moment before saying "He doesn't trust me, but I do mean good. I wish to be rid of the empire like all of you." Bheliar looked at her before turning away. He looked at Drei and motioned for him to follow. "Let's get going, we have a long way ahead of us."

 

Suri jumped inside of the carriage and seated herself in the back with her messenger bag on her lap." Sounds like we have a long journey for sure." Suri said with a sigh as she leaned back.

 

Drei nodded before following behind Bheliar.


Eins soon made his way into the carriage and took himself a seat.
