Seriously? Nobody has made this topic before? I'm appalled at you guys.

Anyway, I love Nine Inch Nails. Trent Reznor is a musical genius. He never manages to disappoint me with his work. His older stuff was better than, say, Year Zero, but Ghosts I-IV and The Slip, released Monday , kick a substantial amount of ass. If you haven't downloaded them (they're free) go do it at www.nin.com.
If you have anything to say about NIN, feel free to do so.

I love Nine Inch Nails as well. Trent is amazing. The Downward Spiral, The Fragile, With Teeth and Pretty Hate Machine are my favorite albums. And Ghosts I-IV is so amazing to listen to, especially when it's a rainy night. I haven't heard The Slip yet. I'm about to download it, though.

If I had to pick a favorite song...Ah **** it, I can't pick one. Haha. All his songs are too awesome.

Also, I'd like to say, the album art for The Slip is now my favorite album art ever.

Just listened to The Slip a few times. Can anyone say one of the best [if not the best] albums of the year?

Easily one of the best so far. I'm not sure there will be much else to top it.

Y'know, it makes me sad to see so little NIN fans here. >_>

If we're the only ones, I'm going to be disappointed.

I was thinking, Trent's had remixes for Broken, The Downward Spiral, and The Fragile, but then he skipped With Teeth, then had one made for Year Zero. I wonder why? Hearing professional remixes for the songs on With Teeth would have been neat. Oh well.

I don't think I have heard anything remix related from NIN, which I may be ok with because alot of music remixes these days aren't that great in my opinion but I think I am going to chck that out.

The remixes on Year Zero are really awesome. Especially the remixes for The Great Destroyer, Meet Your Master, and my favorite, In This Twilight.

Yeah, NIN remixes (the professional ones anyway) always turn out well. It is kinda surprising that a With Teeth remix was never made. That would've been pretty sweet.

A Slip one would be cool too. Remixed Discipline...*drools*

Discipline is definitely my favorite song on The Slip. 1,000,000 is too. But the only thing with the Slip I didn't really like is that there's 3 instrumental songs on the album out of 10. Don't get me wrong, I love them, it's just 3 instrumental songs after Trent just released 38 (if you include the bonus tracks) instrumental tracks is a bit unnecessary.

That's a good point. Personally, I think that Trent values instrumentals as much as vocals; it's just that vocal songs are more successful than instumentals and are more likely to be popular with fans. I guess he feels that he needs some instrumentals (even though a third of the album is a bit much).
