Nightwish - New Vocalist Found

After Tarja Turunen was fired from her position in 2005, Nightwish have been looking for a new vocalist. After finally she has been revealed. She is Anette Olzon from Sweden, she used to be in an ABBA cover band, aswell as studio work, been in choirs and also a wedding singer.



The new album will be released on October 1st, and the the next single 'Eva' was released on download on May 30th. Here is it on youtube -

It's so different from their old stuff. I hope their are some heavier songs on the album. The new siner like Tarja has a great voice.

The songs are great, similar to the album Once, only with a new singer.

 

I am not such a fan of them but, they have some good songs.
I did not even know that their was a new vocalist XD.
But from ABBA ?! I had never ever thought that people from those two bands could be mixed, ever!.

Well that is what she was doing when Tarja was fired, she has done many singing jobs.

I seriously can't wait for this album.

Especially with that lady. I thought she was so old by now that she was dead :/.

Anyway. So how Tarja Turunen get fired again? I'm afraid when it comes to music artist goss, I completely blank out.

 

I'm sooo excited for the new album, but I heard the sample songs and still think Tarja was a better vocalist for Nightwish. Oh well, I know and fully understand why she was kicked out.

From what I remember reading on their website, something about Tarja not caring about their fans and only doing it all for the money. That might not be the whole reason, though =/
