Nickelback

anyone fond of Nickelback at all?

I like the songs Because of You and Rockstar

 

I don't like Nickelback nearly as much as I used to when I was younger. I don't know, I think they have become really stale to me, and I've heard their songs too much (especially Rockstar...I just can't stand that song these days). Anyways, there are only a couple of songs that I KINDA like from them:

Hero

There is one other song that I don't mind, I just can't think of the name of it. Aside from those, I'm not into them much, anymore. I can stand to hear some of their songs if I must, but I barely listen to them on my own free will.

 

I am not fond of Nickelback whatsoever. I personally find their songs to be crap.

 

Their songs are kind of boring to me. I mean, they're just really generic rock songs. Nothing more than that.

I used to but not anymore. they were boo'd off the stage in portugal.

 

They're alright. They were better in the earlier CD's like The Long Road

 

I hate this band. So very much. They're an overplayed, overrated amplified generic country rock band with a ******bag singer who sounds like a horse in labor that play repetitive songs to uninspiring lyrics about sex, being a sissy, sex, being rich, or sex. Seriously, when you title a song something like "Something in your Mouth", or just plain "S.E.X", you need to stop. Plus, their songs keep generalizing what everyone wants. No, I don't want to be a "big rockstar" and I don't care if I'm "the last one standing". Nothing about this band is creative or enjoyable to me in the least bit, and I'm stuck hearing their single-I mean singles (they all sound the same) over and over on the radio, not to mention my brother blasts their whiny wannabe rock most of the time I'm stuck in the car with him. Don't even get me started with how much of an ******* Chad Kroeger is. I seriously wish to deck him in the face.

He's right though. A lot of my friends just love their music and personally I just can't stand it. They are unoriginal and their lyrics aren't inspiring nor have and deep meaning whatsoever. I just find the lead singer's voice annoying. I'll stick with the older classic rock bands kthanks.

 

Nickelback is an overrated and overplayed band.

I'm not too big of a fan for them but there's only like two songs I like a lot. Far Away and Savin' Me. There's probably another song I like but I can't remember it. XD

But mainly those two I listen to more.​

 

i like a lot of their music and the ppl that say they are **** really need to calm down its just a band if they wanna sing let them, if u dun wanna hear it, dun buy the music. that simple, oh, and don't listen to the radio ever again, cuz they took over a lot of it ^_^

 

I cant believe you guys dont like Nickleback! i dont like them much anymore, but i love their other songs like 'Someday' and there wre moe...wait...lemme think...

I can't believe anyone would. They're the epitome of generic and uncreative "rock".

 

I liked a few songs from All The Right Reasons and pretty much every song on Dark Horse.

All time favs are s.e.x., burn it to the ground and if today was your last day (which is probably overplayed).

 

I liked their older songs; I listened to them before they were whored, which is true, since when I turn the radio on (as rarely as I do) it's usually Something In Your Mouth. :|

I don't like Dark Horse all that much, I do love Gotta Be Somebody though. If Today Was Your Last Day is alright, definitely something I listen to when I'm depressed or whatever.
I was disappointed in Burn It To the Ground because it's about drinking instead of setting things on fire. D:

Far Away, Hero, How You Remind Me, Saving Me, Breathe, and Gotta Be Somebody are my favorites.

I saw them on Tuesday, they were quite amazing, considering that some bands sound awesome on their album but are **** live. Also wtf'd at the parents that brought their seven year olds to the concert. :/

Anyway, to add to all the other hate, Nickelback sucks bovine ass. Unoriginal, overplayed, and just BAD. Country doesn't get any better when it's amplified.

 

Nickelback tends to make unoriginal generic mass-produced rock with brainless lyrics.

It's the reason that scumbags listen to them now. Nichelback sold out to pop rock and in the end they are crap, and a shame to bands like breaking benjamin.

 

They used to be one of my favorites, but after The Long Road album (which is ****ing awesome, by the way), everything just kinda went downhill.

 

I'm glad they're still active, but they don't make the hardrock songs they used to make before 2000...
