Now how are they going to keep the series going now that Snake is dead?

 

Well, there's still Raiden (I think, I haven't played MGS4 yet, so I don't know if he's dead or what happened to him.), so maybe he'll have his own game.

 

MGS5? Seems likly since it could be about Raiden but then again it'd be better for the series to of left it finished. I do hope this is for something else but from the way its looking its MGS5.

EDIT: Someone just looked over my shoulder and said that the 5 could mean 5 days left. We could confirm if this guess is right by tomorrow if it changes to 4, if not its probably MGS5.

Well, I've always loved the MGS series, ever since the ones on the PSX, so I don't mind the series staying alive, as long as the games continue being good and plots aren't completely stupid.

 

You guys are dumb, clearly this is going to be Zone of the Enders 5

which is so significant that they needed to skip over Zone of the Enders 3 & 4 to make it

 

MGS5 is supposedly a prequel, but that's unconfirmed.

Snake isn't dead, he's just dying. It COULD be about Raiden, but he's pretty much human again.

 

Hoping for something completly new to be honest.

It could be MGS4 DLC with Raiden showing him rescue Sunny from the Patriots or something like that.

 

The "5" could still be an "S". Kojima has used block lettering in MGS before. I'm hoping it's ZoE3, it's way too early for another MGS and this early would make it seem like they're milking the franchise now =\

 

Possibly (and most probably) some side-game, or even movie, to show Snake's last days.

50 hours left. What could it be?!

 

Hideo already retired so he won't be working on another MGS. And Snake is basically dead or living his life in peace so no Snake. They've made too many prequels already, so it could only be a sequel. Overall I don't think another MGS is needed or wanted. Personally I think MGS4 should be left as the last game, as a symbol of Hideo Kojima's legacy.

 

Actually, the only canonical prequels/side stories are MGS:Portable Ops and MGS3.
