Sorry, I didn't mean all Halo fans. Just a group of friends I rp with who want the new Xbox just because Halo is exclusive. At least that's the only reason they're giving me. I didn't mean to insult anyone, sorry. I'm a Halo fan also and I'm not getting it.

Link doesn't work at least for me, dude...

But I'm not surprised. I almost went to GameStop while I was at the mall tonight because I was curious about their reactions. The store was pretty packed though so I decided against it.

Huh, the entire website for my source is down...
Here's another article using that source as their source. XD

Oh, I'm getting a kick out of this... And I know I shouldn't...

It was an ACCIDENT that they announced no used games. The host wasn't supposed to announce that and he did by accident. They apparently are posting a bunch of blogs about it. I don't have an article, but I found a video on it:

I have heard that Gamestop is selling the games from XboxOne, they have a way around it. Though that REALLY still screws the people who sell on Amazon. They can't sell these games used, and most likely stores that are smaller which I sell my games to at a MUCH better payback than Gamestop will not get the used games without the fee.

Well, Gamestop is going to be thrilled with this. They're going to get a massive kickback from this. I don't fully know, it sounds like the answer is changing more than they change their underwear. But I'm still not buying it, I also sell games on Amazon, I get a quite a bit of money for Christmas from it. I know a ton of people who do the same. I am not going to get a One, even if they change the used policy there's too many factors with the Kinect and always online.

One person put a great comment about albeit a bit paranoid, on a Vlog about how Microsoft can basically take all this information now and use it for their own gain. Marketing, information, who watches what, who plays what, who downloads what. All this info will be via the Internet. Dunno if it will happen, but it doesn't sound good if it does.

Also, I realized unless you really get a nice big room. Most dorm rooms aren't ten feet. That is including removing the furniture. A single room at a stretch is ten feet. A double maybe, depending on the room. My room was WAY less than ten feet for my single. That's not enough room for a Kinect.

Dear God, was that a HORRIBLE reveal. I kept on hoping the host who was watching it would make more jokes to kill time. It was boring, not anything about the games, nor any excitement. It even sounds like canned applause.

Bye Xbox... I am now betting that PS4 is giving flower baskets and Wii U candy to Microsoft in thanks.[DOUBLEPOST=1369512950][/DOUBLEPOST]EDIT: Not sure if this is true anymore, you can correct if I'm wrong. The biggest hype of the system, the whole: "Watching tv via Xbox."

Is just in the U.S. So any other country can't use the feature when the system comes out.

The people over microsoft are saying that they're contacting some cable copanies in Brazil, to combine the Xbox with it. If they're doing in Brazil probably most other countries will have some "choice" to use a cable with it., Although I really think that most cable system will not be compatible with Xbox so you'll have to use theirs cable company.
I didn't like the presentation at all, not only that i came back and watched the Ps4 release, and it got even better! It was dynamic, full of games, and possibilities for gaming! "I am stuck and this stage, my friend can help me though gaikai", "I can play it in tablet/vita/wathever", having all your gaming recorded , channels etc.. just seems great! They even spent 10 seconds saying that it would be Tv support as well, the only sad part about it is the square enix that sounded like haven't prepered at all to the conference.

But I sure loved the Call of Duty Dog! Happy we'll get it on Ps4:

I really did get a kick out of the fact that there was a dog twitter account. I probably shouldn't have.

Knowing that my Internet doesn't work for some of the players. (Springboard and I have a deep and utter loathing for each other because of how crappy it is for me.) And that my cable service provider is the same place pretty much for me says I can't use the tv with my Xbox. Also, I should've made it more clearer: When the system comes OUT, it will only be available via U.S., most likely other countries will get it at some point.

From what it sounds like, Microsoft has to make deals with the cable companies themselves to make this work. I wonder how many they have if any at all. If I'm wrong, correct me.

Oh, this is a good one: You can't say Kinect AT ALL or Xbox when not playing or talking to your parents while playing. Apparently it responds to any voice command. Even the 360 does so:

    http://www.polygon.com/2013/5/21/4353010/kinect-trouble-xbox-one-reveal

It apparently cut off the stream for a lot of people during the reveal because the Kinect for the 360 was responding to the vocal commands of the presenters.

    *sigh*

And I had such high hopes for the PS4...

I don't know the space requirements for the eye, but my room is SMALL. I know I have not NEARLY enough space for the Kinect, and finding out that I need either a Vita which I don't have any money for unless it comes with the system. And no space for the eye...

This is turning into another XboxOne. Goddamnit, Sony why did you have to follow Xbox's and Nintendo's trail?!

Maybe I'm jumping the gun. I hope so, the Vita mandatory which is VERY expensive with all the add-ons is not appealing. I would rather have them make an original controller like Wii U did. I hope they decide to add it as part of the console. There's no way I'm buying a Vita otherwise.

Ah... Apologies. Then that's very smart of Sony, going the Nintendo route who's done the same with their portables since Gamecube. If it improves sales, it's always good. I probably still won't buy a Vita because of the price, but it's a good idea.

Great Idea! If it were not for the price I would get the Ps vita right away, PSN has given me so many Ps vita games so I could install on my vita :D! Unfortunetly I don't have one, and don't plan on buying one soon. Yet it will be awesome for those who have it. I am also happy that they're not dropping the Ps Vita.. PSP was always changing.

    ---- and on twitter---
"Sony has heard your cries for #PS4NoDrM and is pleased to announce we have no intentions of releasing Dr. Mario for PS4."

""I think it is outrageous that both Microsoft and Nintendo intend to block access to used PS4 games on their consoles #PS4NoDRM #PS4UsedGames"

    One moment...

I gotta lmao and put this down in my business class paper of: "How to make your company fall"

Sorry, when I got my new laptop and was forced to "upgrade" to Windows 8 which is a MASSIVE train wreck for most users including myself who spent five days cursing over the damned thing until a company offered me five dollars to fix all the problems. With the logo I might add that says: "We actually listened to the consumers complaints about 8 and fixed them for you for five bucks." Where Microsoft tested the product out and GOT these complaints way before hand and still went with it because they wanted to and their product is doing terribly as a result...

(yes, there's a point to this libre. :P)

I see another Microsoft train wreck from Windows 8 coming at full speed and no brakes. I do like the Xbox, I am a fan of Halo and like the books. I am eh about Mass Effect and maybe getting it, but I do love Halo. I have seen users who love Xbox who are turning away because of Halo 4 which I think was an okay game, but it wasn't as good as the last two even though they're getting the system still.

Microsoft, either it's the new president and maybe the higher ups (I haven't forgotten Adam Orth, living in a rural area.) who thinks that all his ideas are the best and isn't listening to anyone else, or has just gotten so far and so long without any problems it's falling into it's own pitfalls of arrogance of believing they'll never fall like Sega and sometimes Nintendo. Or they are just don't give a crap anymore and are going out with a bang as one of the worst consoles of all time. Or it's EA, who has their own reputation and the public's reputation as being the worst company in the U.S. if not the world two times in a row for any business.

They're not listening to the gamers, they're not listening to the people who will buy the system. Hell, most of them don't even REALIZE that people with disabilities and most people don't have ten feet of free space in their homes, and I'm sure parents would be thrilled watching their kids slaughter Convenant in the living room in front of them and say god-knows what over the microphone in CoD and Halo multiplayer. Not including what fights will break out when a bratty sister comes in and tells Kinect to watch My Little Pony when the brother is playing a game.

They got way too arrogant and who knows, maybe even lazy with this next gen war. They were at the top competing with Sony the last generation and it has bitten them hard this generation so far. One of my friends commented saying that it was obviously a last-minute throw together that whole conference. And the thing is: They DELAYED theirs for six weeks after Sony's conference. They DELIBERATELY delayed their conference after Sony's came out. One put it best: Why didn't you knock our socks off? Why didn't you wait until E3 when you were SURE about what was going on.

Instead they did it early and now it's REALLY biting them back in the ass. Exactly what happened with Windows 8 unless they sit down and start all over again and/or start listening to people again.[DOUBLEPOST=1370474401][/DOUBLEPOST]Btw, anyone who doesn't know:

Adam Orth was a very higher up in the gaming section of Microsoft. He was twittering a friend of his about always online play which he says is now a part of gaming. You always having to have the console on and always connected. The conversation went to hell in a handbasket in five tweets and he was quickly sacked with a public apology.

I think they didn't wait until E3 cause gamers wouldn't like to spend 2 hours listening about Tv when there are some game attractions elsewhere.. So I am hoping they stick with games at E3.

As for listening to the Buyers.. I don't like Xbox as much as the Ps3, but I don't know how much of their dumb ass moves they can't back down right now, or will but haven't had the time yet.. but Yes is mainly their fault and lack of organization since all the bad Information we got we got from them!
Hell Xbox one was doing better BEFORE they said anything.. remember that Info that leaked about a possibility of the new Xbox being able to play Xbox 360 titles if you bought something else together with it (xbox mini i think?) . It seems it was just a rumor, but it was a positive thing for them and it wasn't officially said by them lol.

    The thing is, though...

The press conference didn't have to FOCUS on the tv. They spent 90% of the conference, an hour long press conference, I might add. Talking about television and EA Sports. The dog got the most press for about three minutes of being focused on. I hope they do focus on games, but them saying, and this stuck with me the most as did the commentator I watched: "We have 15 exclusives being made, and 8 of them original."

But why didn't they SHOW us gameplay for ANY of those games? Why show us over and over and over and over EA sports when usually it's a casual market. I know most likely, there are other gamers who play them, but I'm saying in general. Why not even show us a trailer? They had one, and it was good, I admit, but the info on it being exclusive or anything else was nil.

This shows at least to me, they are saying stuff they don't know is happening. Right now as far as we know, it could be a contract with EA or one of their many merged companies to make these games and they haven't even started them yet or written down any ideas for them. With the Indie market gone, they have to depend on the large companies to make these games, do you think if they see no promises in the console and the fact that their company is making up stuff as they go along without proper research. That they would join up with a system and spend god-knows how much money making exclusive games for Microsoft without any guarantee of a profit?

The reason why it went so well for them in the 360 was because the system was MASSIVELY popular. It was more liked than the PS3 in some cases. May be it was back and forth, but the 360 seemed to win the last console war by quite a bit. Companies made games for the system because they knew it was going to do well and they'd get a good if not great return. It sorta reminds me of the SNES days and Nintendo days when they dominated the market and most companies bent over backwards to make games for the system exclusively.Though I admit that this was a lot more even playing ground.

Now with all the bad press and a lot of people and media, you can't forget the media in this. Saying that you shouldn't buy the Xbox and refuse to because of all the mistakes they are making with these companies watching, do you think they would honestly go and do this to make an exclusive game for the system?

Most companies won't. Microsoft needs to pull it together and stop jumping the gun. E3 might show me wrong, if it does, fine. If they fix the many flaws that stop me dead from getting a One and many others, great. Right now they're drowning with no way out.

This is probably nitpicking, but the console war, atleast determined by sales, was actually won by Nintendo and the Wii, while the PS3 is a few thousand Units ahead of the 360, atleast fo now. I used to have a 360 myself, but sold it after I realized it didn't really offer anything I wanted that the PS3 could not offer me.

Man I only hope the big publishers don't screw it up and put restrictive DRM on every game. Urgh! I really think the online pass system is so much better than what MS is trying to do. I hope they fail utterly. With the only reason being that I don't want anything that restrictive to be successfull. And I'm afraid that this might become the future. Most people say that restricting consumers results in bad sales, but just look at Apple/iOS. :/
