I truthfully can't wait. It can be played with this little controller thing, although it's not the whole deal, they didn't reveal much at E3, except for the new controller. I can't wait for it, personally.

I don't see the point in buying that (especially when not being able to play game cube games) unless people wanna buy it because of the bundle.

It looks like someone just yanked it out of the gray stand and set it on it's side. :v

Suppose diehard Wii-ers (do they exist?) might buy this, but it really just seems like a waste of money, unless you don't already have the console... but the Wii is pretty much done at this point imo, I don't think many if any are really buying it new.

this is shameful. It's practically like the PSP E1000. At least this one plays wifi still. But now gamecube games are even closer to being extinct, since there's almost nothing to play them on, unless someone actuallys still owns a gamecube or they play them on their already owned wii

The original Wii could lie horizontally too. -_-'

Oh, and I understand why they're doing this. They're attempting to phase out Gamecube games so that they can sell them on the virtual console.

Haha, I laughed when I read this line:
. I think, as P said, it's an attempt to phase the gamecube out.
However, it's all a gimmick anyway. No Hardware upgrades, No compability changes, except the lack of backwards compability. So yeah, it's to phase out Gamecube as a physical thing, and also to sell more consoles around Christmas.
